If you ever get the privilege to stay at the four seasons DO IT! THEY ARE NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING! I haven't checked in to my hotel because I was in luxor all day and I messaged them through their app to see about room service being there before I make it in. They delivered my meal already as I said it was okay knowing time wise I would be in late and assume that service ends at some point of the evening. I've only had lunch today I haven't been in a bed in the last 48hours, they set ny room up and delivered my food with out me checking in! Theyer amazing they set my spa time for tomorrow evening as well. They also able to offer massage in your room, their guest services is top notch. It's pricey but they absolutely take care if you! I've been to the one in Maui as well, absolutely not disappointed!

The location is close to Jiefang Square and the museum. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the museum. The building is relatively old, and the sign in front of the door is not obvious. Some drivers can't find it. The hotel is on the 5th floor of the building. There is no elevator, but after going up, tell The waiter can help with the luggage. The room is quite quiet, the opposite is also the old house, not too noisy when not facing the street. The hot water in the bathroom is very powerful, that is, the facilities need to be updated. After the shower, the water may be slow, and the ground is particularly difficult to dry. The uncle who made the breakfast was very nice. It was not too late to get up late. The front hall was quite local, but the bedding was not particularly clean and needs improvement.

This hotel was fantastic. My entire family was sad to leave. We could have stayed another week. The rooms are beautiful, the beds luxurious, the restaurants fantastic. The restaurant Saigon was out of this world. Make sure you order the sushi. It’s quite a presentation. Our waiter and busboy were attentive and nice. The belly dancing show at night was so much fun to watch. I really appreciated the bouncer and manager accommodating us and helping us get into the show the first night we arrived. If available, try and get a room associated with the fairmont gold lounge. The breakfasts are out of this world and the happy hour can substitute for dinner since there is so much food. Everyone remembered our name. Special thanks to Amir, Mohammed, salma, salma and abanoub for making us feel welcome everyday. Last but not least, the teenagers loved the rooftop pool and spent many hours there everyday. The staff were super attentive to them and catered to their daily multiple smoothie orders. Like to thank Mahmoud, Mohammed, walid Salem, moustafa ,and mohy for taking great care of them everyday. We toured some of the other nice hotels, but in my opinion, this one was the best and most beautiful. Egypt has been on my bucket list for 15 years. It was a fascinating city with so much rich history. We were well taken care of by our your agency, seeegypt tours. . Would highly recommend them for all your needs around the city. Thanks to all the wonderful people we encountered that made our vacation extra special.

The room is not big but overall it is pretty good. The bath water is also okay.

If you wanna wake up with a fantastic pyramid view then this is the right place, but don't expect much from the hotel,
The guys at the reception will try to sell you overpriced tours to the pyramids that are absolutely not necessary, guides can't entry the pyramids, so you will have a person only rushing you around, just buy the 2 tickets in front of the hotel and you will be perfectly fine, uber works perfectly in Cairo.

A must-have hotel for a trip to Cairo. The hotel is located right next to the three great pyramids and has a great view of the pyramids. The hotel service is also excellent, the restaurant has two dishes, one international and one Indian, both of which are delicious. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of dishes, so you won't get bored even if you stay for a few days. Having breakfast while looking at the pyramids is the best. The outdoor pool is also well-cleaned, and the kids love it. The poolside bar is also great.

if you got room number start from 5, which means your room is at the garden view room, that was very terrible, the facilities are super old and not clean there. You`d must better to ask the staff to change your room, the rooms in the main building are renovated, with nicer facilities and cleaner
shuttle bus is very convinient

This is a great hotel for proximity to Cairo International Airport and good value for a 4 star. They supply a free shuttle service every 30 minutes to and from the airport that is only a 5-10 minute ride. The condition of the mini-bus was somewhat tired but it does the job. I used this hotel on my outbound journey whilst transferring flights and again on this inbound one. It is very good for its category level and has a very decent pool in a spacious courtyard area. For both my visits, all the staff were really amazing and accommodated my requests, in particular Noor on reception, who was a credit to the Accor brand.
Enjoy 4-star peace and quiet at Novotel Cairo 6th of October hotel, around 30 minutes' drive from the centre of Cairo and 20 minutes from the Great Pyramid at Giza. Pull up a deck chair and unwind under the palm trees or take a dip in the heated pool ( heated pool in winter season). Your cool, airy room gives you all the space you need to work or relax at Novotel.

Five-star hotel 🏨, the service attitude is very good, the environmental facilities are not bad, the sleeping is comfortable and quiet, and the food is not expensive

Outstanding
SSandroa very strategic hotel ideal from stop overs in Cairo. with direct access from terminal 3 it is very easy to reach from airport in 1 minute. It is quite expensive hotel,156 euro a night for kingsize bedroom,but it is very confortable. Breakfast is good,and starts at 4.00 am.
EEmilieGraceThis hotel is beautiful and breathtaking! It has an amazing pool and restaurants. However it is far from city center, it’s about 30-40 minutes away by taxi. It is a great spot for a nice get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a couple days. The staff was super helpful and were willing to go the extra mile to make sure my stay was enjoyable!
GGuest UserBest hotel I have ever stayed in my life , never had such level of service , there are worker everywhere and people ready to help you with a smile ever time you turn your head , the restaurants and the food was just amazing , i fell in love and if ever in cairo thats where I will stay ❤️❤️❤️
GGuest UserI love Hilton and tend to stay at them due to status but this one my goodness. The hotel looks so nice on the inside you arrive go in the Lobby and its like wow but the outside look especially by the pool area looks terrible. The only good service we had at this Hilton was Martina Naeim whom emailed us before coming to this Hilton she helped by accommodationing us with early check in. The check in desk isn't really traditional its just common deskz which throws you off. Ola was our front desk person and she waa great and helpful she explained the policy and procedures as we checked in early from the airport, dropped our luggage in our room and went for an excursion for the day. We got back around 3pm and went to the pool area. As soon as we got to the pool area some man with a life guard shirt started asking us about a $1 stated we owed money and to pay our bill. We just back got to the hotel after our day excursion and we were only here for one day so we were supper confused and this interaction and the man never came back so it left a sour taste. Next after this experience we wanted beer from the pool bar which for some reason the bar was out of most of there beers. We did get one and hung out by the pool area but 20 mins after getting our beer the bartender comes with a check stating he is closing in 20 mins so we asked for another one which he got one and we signed the checked. We thought that the area must close soon. It started getting loud in the pool area due too 2 weddings in the area. Well 30 mins after the bartender brought out the 2nd beer this same bartender walked back and forth asking if we wanted another beer. We assumed he be closed by now since he told us he be closed 30 mins prior so we were definitely not gonna order another one as we were upset that he lied and then the pacing back and forth was not very pleasing. Plus the noise from both parties began to make it unbearable to be outside. Definitely don't get a room facing the pool this was terrible. Two weddings were going on outside and the pool area was not relaxing so went to our room. This was even worse the noise from both parties made the room vibrate and was so loud, it was very hard to get sleep. The good about this place was the lobby which is gorgeous, the beds were super comfortable and I loved having the complimentary airport shuttle to the airport every hour. But this is not Hilton I suggest. No shuttle service from airport, no complimentary breakfest bags(we had early flights so didn't get to enjoy breakfast), and no happy hour deals. Not a place I would come back to. Hope they come back with Hilton standards.
GGuest UserI would never recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family, their management sucks, zero customer service. I came from California for a week for my cousin wedding, I booked seven nights Though chase sapphire who uses Expedia, and after one night my plans changed. I contacted the hotel to see if I can checkout 2 nights early, they said your reservation was prepaid through Expedia and I need to call Them for approval, I called Expedia and because of time difference they couldn’t reach the reservation department that only operates from 8am to 5 pm. I was then told to call back during the hotel business hours, I called back the next day I was told by Expedia that they are ok with me checking out early but they will need to contact the hotel for partial refund. I was placed on hold then I was told that they couldn’t get hold of anyone from the hotel, they’ll try again and then they’ll call me back once they are able to reach them. I asked the front desk employees to please respond when Expedia try to call them and I was straight was lied to my face and was told that the this has nothing to do with the hotel because and it’s Expedia decision since I paid through them. Next day I called Expedia back to find out that the hotel declined early checkout credit, I asked to speak to a manger, the front desk manager lied to me again it’s not up to the hotel it’s up to Expedia not knowing that I already called Expedia and the customer service representative was reading the response from the hotel notes, I confronted the manager when he found out that I had Expedia on the speaker phone he asked me to mute them so he lie to me again and tells me whatever BS he needs without Expedia hearing it, very unprofessional big scammers.
GGuest UserExceptional stay! Impeccably clean rooms and Norhan Hassan, the receptionist, provided elite support throughout our visit. Highly recommended......................................................................................
AAnonymous UserIn general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights.
Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building.
* Location & Transportation
Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum.
And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price.
In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes
Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones.
Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it.
* Building and room conditions
Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room.
It is quite convenient a washstand in each room.
However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler.
It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel.
* Cleanness & Safety
Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this.
* Services
There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water.
Wifi is too weak to use the internet.
Other services like laundry are satisfied.
* Others
During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally.
In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better.
And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable.
Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.
GGuest UserThe Holy Sheet Hostel has a great location and we felt we were very central in Cairo. The area is somewhat walkable but never feels safe and gives a whole new meaning to walk like an Egyptian. In the morning the streets are quiet but after 2 pm everything seems to get crazy! The staff are very friendly here. The breakfast was nothing special but it was a nice fresh meal with tea or coffee to start our day. Mario, Alex and the kitchen staff were helpful enough and always friendly to us. This is one of the cheaper places to stay in the area so we can't complain too much about it but we wish it was cleaner. We booked the twin room which had a bathroom inside of it. The beds had hair in them already and the room smelled a little bit from the drains. The AC did work well though and the room was very quiet all night which was nice. The toilet and shower are in the same box without a roof or fan so go #2 at your own risk. We chose to use the shared toilets in the hall which had fans. We were a little disappointed with the booking and check in process. We chose Trip for booking and it started three currencies in our booking but also showed we only had to pay 3100 Egyptian Pounds when we arrived for our three night stay based on the currency exchange when we booked. However, when we arrived they told us we booked through Expedia and had to pay 3600 Egyptian Pounds instead. We went back and forth for a bit but because it was late they were kind enough to check us in without paying because they could not reach their manager. The next day however I went to inquire and they said the manager said no and they tacked on another 300 Egyptian pounds to our check in because we were using a credit card. They did say that if we had used Booking or Hostel World we wouldn't have these issues. This has never been an issue in my 4 years using this booking platform so I'm disappointed in this hostel and their management team for this. The hostel is a little tricky to find but it is tucked down a street which is blocked off to cars and is on the 2nd floor of an older building. There is an elevator to get you up there but it is old style meaning that all the doors and gates have to be closed in order for it to operate. There are a ton of cats nearby and some good restaurants and convenience stores too.
GGuest UserWe stayed in a renovated room so bathroom was newly done and the walls were freshly painted. Nice light options to relax with softer light. Curtain and carpet were also new and inviting. Bedding was clean. Bathroom was clean. We enjoyed our stay. It seems that rooms are being updated since other reviews were written. Many reviews seem harsh considering the price you pay. It's a higher end budget stay after all. We got soap, toilet paper and towel. You can't expect everything for a budget price. Reception area was nicely decorated for Ramadan and staff were friendly. Location is great and a fun part of Cairo to explore. Nice night markets! Typical city noises but not too loud to sleep considering its the centre of the city. Balcony sliding doors are new and close but there is no view to mention. Other guests we saw seemed content as they socialised in public area. I prepaid with hotel.com to avoid payment issues. Public areas do need some more renovation and some repairs but again, it did not reduce the comfort of my stay and it was acceptable being dusted and clean.It's good for Cairo. We enjoyed using the quaint art nouveau gilded style lift! A good experience overall.
GGuest UserSwiss Inn Nile Hotel offers a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and spacious with beautiful views of the Nile. The staff are helpful and friendly and the service is excellent. The restaurant serves delicious food and the breakfast buffet is extensive. It is also geographically convenient and has good access to tourist attractions. The only improvement is that the Wi-Fi signal is sometimes weak. Overall, Swiss Inn Nile Hotel is a great and relaxing place to stay.
