Used to 4 or 5 star hotels? don't stay here
I've never stayed at an "inn" before and I don't really think it was my vibe. The room felt like motel 6 with better sheets but worse mattress.
There was no individual air conditioner controller in our bedroom and the ac can only be controlled by the owner who doesnt live on site. I don't think thats ideal and really
dont think that for paying $500 for 2 nights, I should have to contact the owners to turn the ac up.
Additionally, the bathroom was extremely tiny. I didnt see any photos of it when i booked. I couldnt stand all the way up in half of it.
The bed was very bad and seemed very old.
There is a reason they give you ear plugs. If you do not put ear plugs in you will be up all night. Even with at least a double pane window, you could hear EVERY car at all hours of the night. It is right off off a very busy highway road intersection.
Only some bedrooms have a fireplace. Ours didnt.
There is not real snacks or food offered which i find very interesting they include photos of food in the kitchen when they provide nor offer none and even have a sign that says you cannot use it based on their license, so again, that was perplexing.
The living room is lovely though and so was the back yard, however the loudness of the street as its right off of the main highway made it very hard to find peace.
I noticed the house keepers were bringing up bottles of sparkling wine to some of the rooms, we didn't get any, so not sure how thats decided.
