Naturally Pacific Resort

Great service and excellent spa and dinning experience! Well kept grounds. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The service number upon checkin is very helpful with everything and anything . Highly recommend to everyone looking for accommodation, spa, and dining . We enjoyed out staycation at Naturally Pacific Resort !

We arrived at this hotel at 6:00 and our room was not ready.it was 2 hours after check-in. They did the official check-in process, offered a free drink in the lounge and a downgrade of a room. They had no idea when the room would be ready. We did not take the downgrade. We were very tired and frustrated and as they didn’t really know when the room would be ready, we decided to take a ride into Campbell River and check out the area. They said they would call when it was ready. As we left the hotel, they put a hold on our credit card for I think $600 for an incidentals for a room we didn’t have nor could they tell us when we would have it. It added insult to injury. We didn’t get a phone call but returned at 8:00 to find “ Oh we were just going to call you. It’s ready. If you want that drink you have to go to the lounge in the fine dining establishment not the casual eating area .” So basically we got nothing for not having the room we paid for for 4 hours. Wonder how much they would charge me if I checked out 4 hours late. The hotel is brand new so it is beautiful. The room is big and spacious. The view of the water is from far away- you are not seeing any wildlife from here. It does not have a Vancouver Island feel but more an Arizona golf resort feel. There i construction across the street and a lot of traffic noise if you sit on the balcony. The staff never greets you. The manager never contacted us. They informed as I was checking out that they charge us for water.

They definitely need some housekeeping staff, 1 1/2 hours wait to get into room. Did comp us a drink in bar . Said would email me receipt after housekeeping had been in at checkout, still haven't received 5 days later, beautiful place overall

We spent two nights at Naturally Pacific and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. The bed and pillows were the best and we had two nights of deep sleep. Service was generally excellent but the most pleasant surprise came from Chef. We were exhausted on our return from the day and asked if we could have two dining room meals sent to our room. They arrived hot and the presentation was outstanding. The food itself was superb and so delicious. You just can’t get better service than what we had. We’re not golfers but will definitely return for another stay. Well done team!

A breathtaking resort with attentive staff, a huge beautiful room, melty bed, stunning views of the golf course, a pool, hot tubs, gorgeous outside seating areas with fires and romantic music. I wish I could have tried the spa! The Carve restaurant was so classy and modern and the food was delicious! I was treated like royalty.

The hotel is obviously new and, along with the golf course, presents immaculately. We were thoroughly impressed. There are little details that demonstrate that there were no shortcuts attempted when designing and decorating the hotel and grounds. This is all very well done. The staff are great. The golf course is an absolute treasure - no expense spared - the landscaping and maintenance would make world-class resorts envious. An absolute treat. The one area where we were a little disappointed was the onsite restaurant (Carve). Given that the the Campbell River area is world famous for salmon/fish/seafood, we were puzzled that the restaurant's specialty was beef. As a marketing professional, I would actually be interested in the logic for the decision to go in that direction. Campbell River does not appear to have a whole lot of better quality seafood restaurants either so it may be that, paradoxically, there isn't local product availability. As I say, I would be interested in your perspective on this. In the the Maritimes, even the smallest villages have great little local fish, lobster, crab and seafood restaurants. Notwithstanding the above, we felt that a couple of value priced wine options would have been appreciated by us in Crave. As I recall, there were no 5 oz wine-by-the-glass options that were less than $20 each. We stuck to beer. As a brown ale guy, there were no draft options in that red/brown ale sector for me. Velocity had the local Ember Red Ale which was terrific and I was not quite sure why Carve didn't carry that. On that note, we ate at Velocity twice and it was fantastic. The server we had both times was friendly and engaged - top notch and the food we had was of the best quality of pub food we have ever had. The cauliflower wings are fantastic. The only other little niggle was the speed of the main elevators in the hotel. They are the old school hydraulic type and are very slow given that they serve 4, or is it, 5 floors. When I shared a cab most people commented on the slowness of the elevator. I don't think there is much that can be done at this point but it was certainly the only thing in the 4 days we were at the resort where I could honestly say a short cut was used in construction/design. Hopefully we will be back and I will certainly be mentioning the resort to friends and family for a base for staying and exploring the area. Great value. Many thanks.
