Well, I'm going to put the church back in the middle of the village a little. Indeed, the house has a certain character and is well located in a quiet area, about fifteen minutes on foot from the city center. On the other hand, the whole thing suffers from a terrible lack of maintenance and organization to make it a good place in line with the price of the room (150 bucks all the same). The rooms are austere, without any decoration, the furniture is old, the bed is extremely hard and the pillows are low quality. The bathroom is OK, the products are quality but the towels are rough and worn. The cleaning is succinct, our room was not swept (or poorly swept) for 4 days. The pool area is very disappointing. The swimming pool itself is dirty and poorly maintained. A layer of dirt and insects floated above all. It was not cleaned during our stay. No more than the parquet floor around (after 2 steps your feet are black), the corner next to it is also littered with leaves and dust. The bathroom towels are old and worn. The continental breakfast is mediocre, the eggs overcooked, the butter and jam very ordinary, the coffee just drinkable. To make matters worse, we asked for additional toasts (2 per person initially) and were told we would have to pay extra! The establishment does not offer any services. We gave laundry to be washed and it was returned to us as is 2 days after supposedly the service was not working and without an alternative solution. The whole thing deserves a good facelift and an organization adapted to the place. Disappointment all round.
