I’ve stayed at the Birch Glen for years and this was our worst stay. Their checkin process is now all automated and you no longer check in at the office, which was easy and smooth. Checked in to a room with massive spider webs in the window, the room was over 85 degrees, no shampoo (but 4 bottles of conditioner) and less than 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper. After my payment was processed I get a text saying they are not always on site, and nobody was at the office. For $120 a night for a room that hasn’t been updated in decades I shouldn’t have to go to the gas station to buy toilet paper. We won’t be back.
