Will not consider it again. The only advantage is the close proximity to the train station and the centre. Otherwise, awful experience.

Very convenient and parking centre is very close and price is reasonable. Counter service is so nice. 😊

Very good location and everything very good for its price. The only bad thing is that you can't leave your suitcases at the accommodation if you arrive before or leave after.

Where do I start... there was so many things wrong with our room. 1) Stains on pillows 2)Toothpaste in sink where it had not been cleaned properly. 3)Drain not cleaned, covered in hair and grime. 4)Fan in the room did not work. 5)Tea caddies incomplete. (No sugar, only one teabag.) 6) Window filthy. 7)Only one toilet roll. 8)Room had not dusted for what looks like weeks if not months. I can't fault the reception staff, they were pleasant and polite. However, I would not stay again in this hotel.

Perfect for nights out in Cardiff or for sightseeing as the hotel is in the middle of everything you need. Slightly noisy till early in the morning because of people coming in from a good night out.

Best location to stay in the town and also, the Staff are very helpful and supportive. Ms. Amanda from the reception, made us feel very welcome and helped with everything during my stay with family

we stayed for one night the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. it was close to train station and other amenities.

Thought I’d give Travelodge a go instead of its major competitor. And I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I opted for Plus room which came with a good quality coffee machine. Nice. The hotel feels fresh and modern with really friendly staff. The room was a decent size, super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Slept really well. Bathroom was spotless. Location is very good for restaurants, shops and bars. There’s no restaurant in the hotel (hence my 4/5 rating) but they offer a breakfast-to-go box which was good enough for me. I’m back in Cardiff for another course this week and I’ve rebooked this hotel. Extremely good value for money.

The location is great as it’s just around the corner from the station. I stayed because of a conference at the stadium, which is also just around the corner! The reception staff were lovely which meant the check in and check out was very smooth and easy. The room was very comfortable, I’m a fussy sleeper, but I slept soundly all night. I’d definitely recommend staying there.

Convenient location for the train station and easy access to the Utilita Arena. all other bars and restaurants are right on the doorstep. Hotel was clean, comfortable and good value for money. Paid a little bit more to get a super room. Well worth it. Would stay here again.

Reasonable priced Travelodge on St Mary street in Cardiff. Rooms are clean and have tea making facilities etc. One staff member of the reception team was unhelpful and had a computer says no atttude.
