Accommodation is in a convenient place close to the town center. It's clean and has all amenities one needs during a holiday. Host was very helpful via whatsapp when organising check in. Only thing to mention to be mindful of - the bathroom is upstairs so be prepared to walk up a flight of stairs during the night if you need the loo.

It is really the hotel in Catane in which you have to stay - the hotel is more than adorable, efficient, courtesy. The location is very good, downstairs is the main commercial street in Catania. Eat, drink and shop. Walk to the Central Station for 10 minutes and there are many large supermarkets within 5 minutes. Walk to the core area of the main church and the seafood market for less than ten minutes. The hotel is small but clean and tidy. Hotel staff is enthusiastic. Wi-Fi signal is not good, no toothbrush, slippers. Hotel positioning is a bit problematic. But find McDonald's is there.

The B&B is located in a beautiful old building with high ceilings and balconies. The hosts are lovely; kind and helpful! They helped is out when we were in a difficult situation. We had booked another B&B in the same building but when arriving in the evening they couldnt accomodate us. The hosts of Elephant smile came to our ”rescue” and arranged for us to stay at their B&B. We are so grateful for that, and the fact that the B&B turned out to be such a lovely place made it even better. The price is also very reasonable. If you stay in Catania we really recommend this place!

Alessandra and Giuseppe are just the best hosts and they have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The hotel rooms have been beautifully renovated to an incredibly high standard. They are bright (with high and beautifully painted ceilings) and spacious, the bedlinen and towels of premium quality. The hotel is quiet and super clean, in a good location close to the centre and the sights. You get to chose your breakfast every day. The airport bus drops off less than 5 minutes walk away. I cannot recommend Ciuri di Strata enough and I would most definitely come back again.
