I read the reviews before booking this hotel and booked based on the good food recommendations… I can’t imagine what people eat at home ! The food and drinks within the AI package were the worst I have ever experienced. The drinks are cheap imitation brands, anything of any worth is charged extra. They didn’t even have diet coke as a mixer to go with the awful drinks ! just cheap watered down imitation soft drinks We attempted the afternoon snacks on arrival - cold fish fingers ( without fish!) and packet savoury rice! We tried the evening meal the first night to find equally as poor quality luke warm food, after this we ate out every day even though we had paid for AI as nothing was edible. The hotel itself is well worn and dated, the corridors resemble a prison. However the rooms were of an adequate standard and the beds were quite comfortable. The only negative with rooms is you don’t have any tea or coffee making facilities. The hotel position is lovely and it’s only a 10 minute stroll from the harbour, where there are good quality restaurants. Prior to arriving we stayed at another 4 star hotel just off dubrovnik- this was as far away from that experience as you could imagine - this would be more a 2 star than a 4 star in my opinion

The only negative to bring this down from a 5 rating to a 4 rating was the housekeeping of the room. Yes hoovered everyday, beds made, not sure on the frequency of the linen change, towels changed however, a lot of the surfaces were dusty in the room. Apart from that a lot of the comments wrote about the hotel are unjust. The food was excellent to the point of placing me in a food coma on numerous nights due to the selection. One night I had rumpsteak,salmon,hake,duck and topside of beef, with a few roast potatoes. This gives a flavour, no pun intended of the selection. Some comments have mentioned the food being over cooked ? With the over head heating to keep the food warm this will happen. However if you take the food below, fish for example it was perfect. Use that technique with everything and it’s a winner.

This was the second time we are staying at this apartment. Stanka is a great host, friendly and quick in communication. The apartments are great, almost all with super sea views (the property is located on the edge of a cliff above Cavtat). It's great to relax in the swimming pool and have this amazing view on the Adriatic sea and Supetar Island. The apartments itself are modern, clean, have good beds and have all necessary facilities. We now have stayed in both the 1 bedroom apartment and penthous apartment and they are both super! Thanks Stanka for everything! Note: this time (in September) there were a lot of mosquitos in the area so bring repellent else you will be eaten by them ;-)
