We had the pleasure to eat at Belmont Cafe. It was an exceptional experience and the service was second to none. From the greeting upon entry to the quality of food and the attentiveness we received, the entire time was incredible. We had the four cheese pizza, fresh lumpia, Laing and other items. The food was beyond delicious and can’t wait to taste more dishes in the future. We want to give special recognition for Chef Ri, she checked on us to make sure we enjoyed the food, a rare thing and much appreciated. Special recognition as well to our server Michael, he went above and beyond to make our visit memorable and was one of the most attentive I have seen, he provided the highest quality of service and others in the future will have a hard time matching his skills. Thank you for all you did to make our dinner one we will not forget.

The hotel was okay for the price. Prices are meant for members so it is best to check membership if you will stay a while. They dont really tell you to apply before booking. Good place if you want to go for a staycation. Reservations department could do be more accommodating given the level of aspiration the hotel strives for. meh

I booked this hotel with my 11 year daughter to have my birthday staycation. The hotel was quite new and designs are modern. Check in was very smooth with very kind polite front desk officers. I was allowed to have an early check in as the hotel wasnt fully booked at that time and was kind to offer me a room upgrade. I politely declined the upgrade as the bed configuration wasnt suited for me and my daughter. We wanted a twin bed and the room upgrade was for one queen sized bed only. The size of our room was relatively small for a twin bed room. Its roughly 21sqm in size and it kinda tight when all your luggages and things have been all around the room. The Buffet breakfast was on the average side, Hot dishes werent kept warm and choices was kinda limited. But for the average kind of breakfast spread, I wouldnt complain more. The hotel is very near (I mean walking distance) to 7/11 convenience Stores, good quality restaurants nearby , Mcdonalds, Mactan Alfresco etc... I love the ambiance of the community ... its like a little city within a small community. Not that I really didnt like that much, but it was just something that I didnt appreciated much... its the hotel's pool that looks like blurry and wasnt kept clean by the time we went to visit the area. The prices at the bar was kinda pricey and wouldnt offer any happy hour during the day. The Surroundings of the pool area werent kept clean and aesthetically pleasing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Savoy.

The multiple big pools were a highlight, offering ample space for relaxation and fun. Whether we wanted to unwind by the poolside or take a refreshing swim, there was always a perfect spot to do so. Moreover, the value for money was notable. Considering the high standards of cleanliness, the top-notch service, and the extensive amenities provided, we felt that our experience was worth every penny spent. It's rare to find a place that offers such a well-rounded experience without breaking the bank. In conclusion, our time at Solea Mactan was nothing short of incredible. This visit to Marco Polo truly saddened me. If you read some of my past reviews of this hotel I noted it was my favorite place to stay anywhere in the world. This was my first post Covid visit and I was shocked and disappointed. - Basic maintenance has not been completed. For example, there is a glass elevator that goes to Blu their rooftop restaurant. This elevator was out of order and when I asked why I was told “Covid.” Covid travel restrictions were lifted a long time ago and that’s no excuse. In a second example, we returned to our room after a long night and the key did not work. It turned out the battery in the electronic device on the door needed to be replaced and the front desk understand the issue immediately, so this must happen often. Good hotels replace these batteries on a schedule so the guests never suffer from dead batteries. - Service, which used to be outstanding?@, is now unacceptable. First, the English language skills of most employees we encountered were sub par. Second, the person who checked me in was being trained, so the check in process was very slow. Third, service at the poolside bar during lunch was slow, the waitstaff inattentive and they failed to include my banana shake on the bill so as we are leaving the grab us and give us a second bill to pay. Fourth, service at breakfast was terrible. I had to ask for black tea three times before I got it, seeking some out 3 times as no one ever came to check on us. When we arrived around 9 AM there was no bacon (later replenished with bacon that looked so bad I did not even try it, fatty and not crisp), there was 1 banana, which was never replenished, there were no juice glasses (later replenished). The food quality was adequate but not nearly up to pre-Covid standards. Overall the service was lacking. - I was also disappointed that the lobby lounge, which used to have live music every night now has piano music only and only 1 night per week I am told. - There was a cart of dirty linens in our hallway both days Some of these things are not expensive or hard to fix. It doesn’t cost a lot to have live music in the lounge nightly as there are lots of singers groups looking for opportunities. It doesn’t cost a lot to make sure you change door card batteries regularly Others are basic requirements if doing business. For example you don’t leave a glass elevator to one of the most expensive restaurants in Cebu out of order for month/years. I am purchasing a condo unit in Marco Polo residences and expected to regularly visit the hotel for meals/drinks, but if this is the quality and service we can expect, then I will not be utilizing their services.

We had a late and delayed flight but grateful the van (free airport shuttle) waited for us. The lobby was simple & check-in was easy. Before going up to our room, they asked us to get the amenities we need (dental kits, shaving kits & combs). We stayed at the Twin C Room, it has a big ref, kitchen sink, tv, microwave, dining table & chairs & 2 big beds. The bathroom was like the ones in Japan, compact & small. There were no cabinets too. The beds were comfortable to sleep on & the ac was working well. Breakfast was served in what was like a cafeteria hall, it was supposed to be plated but it was served buffet style, breakfast menu was simple. It changes everyday. Location of the hotel is superb & convenient because its connected to J Centre Mall and there were pharmacies, banks, convenience stores & a spa nearby. Happy to have our massage there. The hotel was also beside the Skywater theme park but unfortunately it was indefinitely closed. Checkout was easy too. They allowed us to leave our luggage because we have a late flight, we just came back for it. We weren’t able to avail of the free shuttle going back to the airport because we weren’t able to book a day before (it’s not automatic even if they have your flight information), good thing we have relatives to bring us to the airport. Overall, price was reasonable and we had a nice & comfortable stay here.

I was looking for a hotel near the airport and near the grocery and restaurants during a recent trip to Cebu. My usual stay had a big price increase and since it was far from the airport, I tried looking for a new hotel. I used to stay at other hotels near Felicity and thought that the prices were a bit steep for hotels without pools. I chanced on them while browsing Google Maps and gave them a call. It's good that they had a vacancy and so I made my way from the client site to the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the bright lobby. The single room, though, had a weird layout with the sink just behind the door but not inside the bathroom. Still it was value for money because it had hot and cold water, a cool air conditioner, a refrigerator, a flat screen TV and clean sheets. Since it was just beside the highway, I expected to hear scooters darting across. Well, most of the noise came from fellow guests walking through the corridors after making bar crawls, I guess. Aside from that, the hotel is great value for money. I'm looking forward to staying with them in future trips.
