I have been looking for this hotel for nearly a year. I came to Changsha this time, half for the Hunan Museum and the other half for the experience of Yijian Hotel. The hotel is located in Sujia Lane, Baiguoyuan Historical and Cultural District. It is 50 meters away from the pedestrian street. It can be said to be a quiet place in the hustle and bustle. (The Huiji Flour Shop at the door is really cheap and delicious!) The hotel has a small courtyard and a tea room. There are very thoughtful designs everywhere. The room is equipped with exquisite and elegant tea sets, old white tea, and special well water for making tea. The service of the housekeeper and other staff is also in place. The housekeeper responded promptly when contacting WeChat. Here I want to emphasize the service. It is almost responsive. My mother suddenly wanted to eat Li Ziqi's snail noodles very much. She bought a bag. The hotel asked the kitchen to cook it for us without saying a word and put it in a beautiful food box and sent it to the room. It was so touching. After cooking for two nights, we changed to another hotel with the same price and style. The service staff refused to cook for us because the taste was too strong! ! ! It can be seen that Yijian is really good in terms of service. About meals: The hotel provides breakfast, afternoon tea and supper. The breakfast dishes are different every day, small and exquisite, steaming hot, and taste good. The key is that the taste is light, which suits me very well. Afternoon tea is divided into Chinese and Western styles. The mulberry tea provided by Chinese afternoon tea is very good. The supper is soup, porridge and snacks. The pastry snacks are steaming hot when they are delivered to the room, which shows the care, but the taste needs to be improved. Parents are quite satisfied with the bedding. The quilt is of appropriate thickness and the pillow is comfortable. The only drawback: drip coffee is provided but no hand-brewed pot is provided, so the drip coffee cannot be brewed at all. The snacks for afternoon tea and supper tasted average. Breakfast could not be used in the lobby because of limited seats, so we could only eat breakfast in the tea room, and although the tea room was air-conditioned, it was still a bit cold. The lobby is a bit too dark, it is recommended to turn up the lights.
JW Marriott Hotel Changsha

You would expect a 5 star hotel to be clean and provide excellent service… however we were disappointed especially after my friend recommended me to stay here since he was here a month ago. First thing I noticed was a wet floor after entering the guest lobby, thankfully they cleaned it after I told them. Second was our room was not clean, other than the basics like clean sheets and bathroom but the main table wasn’t wiped and they didn’t even vacuum the floor (especially the carpet) at check in and the day after. When we were checking in, the reception staff did not even inform us of how to access the wifi (maybe it is assumed to be common sense) nor did they let us know that we had late check out, had free mini bar soft drinks and we also had no welcome note (these small touches may seem minuscule since the TV says welcome however you would hope that an extra mile is taken at a great brand like JW Marriott). I hope these issues are able to be rectified for other guest, after all information and attentiveness is king in the service industry. The location is also not the most central but that is a personal preference given my short trip! I will have to give a special mention to the male receptionist that helped us a lot with our alipay, thank you again 😊

Yanghu Wetland Park/Dawangshan
The penultimate stop of the self-driving trip to Sanya was Changsha. We arrived at the B&B in the afternoon, next to Yanghu Water Street. My mother spoke highly of it, saying that it was the cleanest B&B along the way, with spacious rooms and great views. Because I brought my pet, I stayed in B&Bs for the 20 days I was away. It's a bit far from the downtown area of Wuyi Street, but the high-rise buildings there don't allow pets, so I can only go far away. The housekeeper was very enthusiastic and contacted and added WeChat in advance. There were just a few unpleasant things when I arrived at the store. There was no one at the front desk to receive me when I arrived at the door. The room type I booked on the first floor was changed to the second floor. Later, I coordinated to change to a room on the first floor. The breakfast on the first day was very unpleasant. The hardware facilities in the room are still good. They are all equipped with bathtubs and disposable bathtub sets, and small bottles of laundry detergent are also prepared considerately. The snacks and fruits given in the room are also very good. If you contact the housekeeper for something, he will reply in time. I didn't use the Chinese restaurant for two days. They said that they were all booked for activities and could not be received. I sincerely recommend that B&Bs should not accept individual reservations when there are booked wedding banquets. This will give people a very poor stay experience. The breakfast is not satisfactory. If the occupancy rate is not very high, you can use the buffet mode. The set meal is more exquisite and it also gives people a good feeling. Today's breakfast buffet is too simple and sloppy, and it will cause waste. It is better to upgrade the quality and use the individual set meal mode. I hope that the beautiful homestay will get better and better in the future and the hygiene can be maintained. I will come to stay again if I have the opportunity in the future

Our stay as a family of four had been extremely pleasant. Whilst it goes without saying that the hotel was beautifully designed with artistic touches even in the rooms, the aspect that impressed us the most was the attention to details the staff had. They were extremely helpful, always looking out for you even before you realising you needed help. It’s the little things that count- like the staff helping with our heavy heavy suitcases all the way to the main road (our taxi wasn’t able to get into the small alleyway) even when it was raining; remembering that my mom doesn’t eat beef, packing our favourite fruits for us to bring on our next journey. With service as impeccable as this, we felt at ease during our stay here and can’t wait to be back if we’re visiting Changsha again! (special shoutout to Ms. 柯, you have been very helpful and we appreciate your help!)

Guanyao Resort
Hotel facilities are very good, children like the room with a balcony and a bathtub. There are also many types of breakfast. Since there are many programs in the National Day scenic spot, the hotel front desk can directly scan the code to book the Black Stone performance in the scenic spot. It is best to make an appointment in advance when there are many people. Zhang Xiaozhen at the front desk of the hotel is warm and thoughtful and skilled in handling business. Adults and children are having fun. Like, I will stay next time I have a chance.

I have been to Changsha for many times, and this is my first time staying at St. Regis. It is a dimensional strike against other luxury hotels! 1. Butlers' service is not inferior to the butler service of major luxury resort hotels overseas. 2. Real five-star bedding, you can sleep well all night. 3. The hardware facilities are classic and artistic. I want to emphasize the butler service here. Because it was my boyfriend's birthday, the butler Yanny contacted me in advance before arriving at Changsha South Station to confirm the arrival time of the hotel, and arranged the room for us, including birthday cake and rose bubble bath in the bathtub, and carefully sent the surrounding food and travel recommendations. Because we arrived late, there were 24-hour drinks after supper, and they helped me deliver takeout to the room at more than three o'clock in the morning, and WeChat messages were replied in seconds. The next day we got up late, and after lunch, we returned to the room. The butler kitty not only considerately checked out for us two hours later, but also delayed the check-out time to four o'clock after I mentioned that I was a Marriott member, and after another communication, we enjoyed a beautiful lunch break with ease and pleasure. Next time I come to Changsha, I will no longer go to the two hotels in IFS. I will just go to St. Regis.
