Very friendly and well located little hotel. Responded promptly to some pre-arrival requests. Definitely recommended. We had to depart very early so, unfortunately weren’t able to sample the breakfast. Parking permit sorted by the hotel at a cost of £7/24hrs.

Clean stay with friendly staff. Breakfast good as is the breakfast area. Car parking reasonable and convenient. Good location for all local amenities. The overall feel however was that the place is tired and dated, especially the room and other areas.

Lovely town house situated right in the heart of Cheltenham town. I stayed for an event at the town hall and this was only a few minutes walk away from there. It is ideally located for restaurants, bars and shopping. The Abbey Town House is a charming place, typical regency style of the town and the room was very good with everything I needed. Comfortable bed, good pillows and a good size little en suite. The staff were super helpful and friendly and I felt like I was staying over at a friend's house. The continental breakfast was great, lots of choice and fresh produce, served in a conservatory room downstairs overlooking the garden. I can thoroughly recommend here over the bigger faceless, corporate hotels and I will definitely stay again travel permitting. I had a parking space right outside (lucky) and a parking permit was issued at reception digitally so no need to return to the car. Top marks all round.

Overall the stay was nice, but the room could do with a bit of a spricenup. The walls had visible marks on walls, the bathroom was small but the bed was very comfortable. The windows didn’t stop noise from the birds/seagulls which seem to hang around behind this location. The garden was nice and the breakfast room was bright and open.
