Room facilities: The two bedrooms and one living room we stayed in were spacious and bright, and the bedding was comfortable. The bathroom has plenty of hot water and a lot of water. Especially touched: the board is very good, the charging cable is in the hotel, the boss took the initiative to contact us, and helped to send it to the gate of the community as soon as possible, super warm heart. Highly recommended to all friends who come to Chengde, especially the Little Potala Palace! I will definitely choose here again next time!

The hotel has taken in stray cats at the entrance to its backyard, and the staff are warm and caring, which alone deserves full marks. The rooms and public areas are well-decorated, new, and exactly as pictured. The bed is very comfortable, and I personally think the quality of the decor far exceeds that of 7 Days Inn. The location is also excellent, making it convenient for ordering takeout or going out to eat and shop. There is parking and charging stations in the backyard, which is perfect for those driving. The only downside is the smell of smoke and sewer odor in the room (but you can mention it, and the staff will actively help you change rooms). If they could improve the sewer odor and differentiate between non-smoking floors, it would be perfect.

Overall, it was pretty good. It's newly opened and very clean, and the location is easy to find. On the first floor, the tap water was yellow, probably due to a blockage. The room was very dry in winter, making it uncomfortable and so dry I couldn't sleep. The hotel breakfast was very average; there wasn't much to eat.

The room was clean and tidy, and the overall environment was quiet and comfortable. It is very convenient to travel to attractions such as the Mountain Resort and the hammer peak. This stay at the Holiday Inn Express exceeded my expectations. Before coming to Chengde, I did a lot of research, and my previous experiences at Holiday Inn Express hotels elsewhere had them feeling quite old. So, I was a bit hesitant when booking this one, but it turned out to be surprisingly good! The hotel has been recently renovated, so the facilities are very new, everything is clean, and the service is attentive. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere, and there are all sorts of restaurants, big and small, nearby, so dining is a breeze.
