the photos provided by the property must have been taken a decade ago, since it’s opening it has never been renovated or fixed, it’s totally worn out, shabby, with lots of mold, plaster falling off; the smell of moist and mold persisted too; the floor has not been washed for days; all furniture was covered in dust; water pressure was weak and appeared either too hot or extremely cold; it was a very late hour, that’s why I didn’t request to change the room since i was flying same day anyway. I wonder how it managed to keep good rating until now; probably due to proximity to the downtown

I would definitely go back to this hotel! It’s very comfortable to stay here, plus they have free laundry (self service). And location is good!

Amazing hotel, very close to the metro station, clean and nice. There are a lot of convenience shops and pharmacies nearby, at night there is a street food market that opens right by the entrance (also very delicious). Front desk and cleaners are friendly and ready to help if needed.

Quite okay. Location is good. Near with MRT station and daily retail shops. The service is somehow should be improved, but still okay. Price to value is very good.

The hotel is located next to second hospital and exit B and C at Second Hospital Station of Chengdu Subway. There is a several restaurants nearby and there is nice pick your dishes kind of restaurant nearby. Taikooli station is just 1 stop away or if you choose to you can walk a few blocks to it. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bedsheet and towels are clean, the heating works. There is a laundry and dryer on the 15th floor so you don’t need to bring that many clothes. Everynite the street in front of the hotel turns into street food.

all is good, sevice is ok, facilities are also ok, food also ok, overall, it is just okay

Opposite the hotel is the hospital and there are many street stalls in front of the hotel. 10 minutes to the subway station

I was looking for a clean, non-smoking space (which is sometimes hard to find in China from a place with less than 5 star). Upon my arrival, I noticed the musky smell of tobacco, and asked for a room change. Not only they found me one but gave a nice upgraded room. I really like the new room. The location is also very close from the metro line. A great place to stay.

Easy access to metro. Room is cleaned and presentable. Reception service is good and helpful.

It is a walk from taikoo li of about 15 to 20 mins.it is 5 mins walk from the subway (2nd hospitals station). The building is in front of a big busy hospital (room facing city) and rather noisy ...even at night Hard to find the hotel entrance at ground floor as the hotel signage is not big or clear. There are many little shops or eateries around . The hotel reception at ground floor is small but the ladies at reception are helpful and nice. I have asked for a high floor room facing city. It is a mistake as the rooms at high floors are quite worn out and old and the room facing city/hospital is noisy. The carpet at the walkway on the floor are very old and dirty. The room is a quite well designed and nice. However they need to touch up and do renewal / renovation of the furniture and wall paints , floor., toilet...etc. once renovated, the room should be 1st class. I like the wooden furniture in the room. The bed is extremely comfortable. I am sure that the rooms facing the courtyard are quiet. The restaurant at 4/F has great food at good price. I have enjoyed eating my lunch and dinner. There is also a nice restaurant nearby (turn left once you come out of the hotel) . It is 20 meters away but you have to walked the stairs up to 3/F. Overall, it is a great place provided that they renovate the rooms and walkway and the elevator. Chengdu is a great tourist city with many good food, historical cultures and sceneries !!!

Nice and clean, comfortable when staying there, hotel worth to stay. Near lots of street foods market.Recommend to stay. 🥰

I don't have any complaints whatsoever with Theme Hotel Chengdu because everything I experienced was perfect. The location is excellent, only 3 minutes from 2nd City Hospital station (Shi Er Yiyuan Zhan, Line 3). The room is spacious and spotlessly cleaned. In each room, we can see the outside through a transparent glasswall that goes from ceiling to the floor. Around the hotel, there are many food stalls and convenience stores, pharmacies. I will definitely stay at this hotel when I come back to Chengdu.
