Chengdu Wuhou District 5-star Hotels

What an amazing stay at Kempinski Chengdu. Beautiful clean room, clean pool, fantastic spa treatment, great breakfast and bar area. Thank you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It is very nice of them , to upgrade my room to a children suite. The only concern is, the robot probably need an upgrade. When I came out from the lift with a big luggage, the robot blocked our way not moving. We have difficulty coming out.

Went here for an unplanned staycation when my children were driving me mad at home. Very child friendly and the employees are lovely. It’s not the kind of place to come if you don’t like children, noise or a bit of wear and tear. The water park next door is really noisy but at least it drowns out the sound of your own children bickering (no pun intended). Bit of a hiccup with room service but they were very good about it, alls well that ends well, and anyway it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as the pool is open to 10pm and the water park across the way stopped pumping out loud music at 7.30 so we had a lovely evening swim. Same went for the morning we got in the pool at 9am and it was still fairly quiet until we got out at 11.30am. Room service food was fine, I don’t think especially pricey for a hotel of this kind and frankly there is nothing to stop you going to the global centre for something else if you’d rather. Pool is nice and saves you from entering the absolute bedlam of the waterpark next door (I went once before, never again, not for the faint of heart). Breakfast was very nice, plenty of choice. Before we left I put my bags in left luggage and went to the Global Centre where I bought makeup and we all had macdonalds and left happy. Overall we had a fun time. I then forgot something I’d left in the room, called slightly panicky, they located it and called me back within minutes. Really impressed. One slight annoyance was that I couldn’t find a machine that would rent me a phone charger pack, unlike others I’ve used in Chengdu both machines I found claimed they could only rent to Chinese nationals. Overall though I’d definitely go back again for a change of scene and a hotel where children are welcome.

This hotel is really great (｡♥‿♥｡) First of all, the hotel's location is super convenient, and the transportation is convenient. It is super convenient to go anywhere! As soon as I entered the hotel lobby, I was surrounded by the warm and comfortable feeling, which really made me feel relaxed~ The room is super spacious and bright, and the decoration is also simple and generous, revealing a sense of luxury in every place. The bed is super comfortable, and I feel relaxed as soon as I lie on it. It's really great~ The breakfast is also super delicious~ There are all kinds of food, which really makes people eat super satisfied! The hotel service staff is also super nice, especially the front desk Xiao Shu who helped me check in. She is always smiling and makes people feel super warm In general, this stay in the hotel is really a super pleasant experience, and I will definitely come again next time if I have the chance!

I’ve stayed at multiple Fraser locations. Having previously stayed at their old location at renheng and had a good experience I thought it would be even better at their new location. I was wrong. 1) The rooms smells full of toxic gas from renovation. Even the air filter in the living room shows a PM2.5 level of 80+ 2) The hotel likes to save as much electricity as possible so they often like to turn off the entire air conditioning unit for the entire hotel in the morning making u wake up from being too hot. The centralised air conditioning is not adjustable at all. I put the temperature to 10c and it still showed a reading of 24. 3) Service was terrible as soon as we arrived. Worker outside supposed to be helping with luggage was standing and looking at us until I called him to help with the luggage. The lady with pimples on her face is rude and not welcoming at all. Speaks to us with no manners and gives us a terrible attitude. Never coming back again! My loyalty to Fraser suites for all around the world ends here.

Check in went very fast and convenient, front desk prepared the room in advance. Also the hotel inquired a day in advance about our stay requests. Rooms are clean, spacious and have all you need. Beds and Bathroom are comfortable. Breakfast room was very crowded and noisy, choices of food and drinks are good, staff has been very prompt and helpful. Thanks for the housekeeping for the nice surprise in the room for the kids, they loved the tent!

Hotel was amazing, however felt a little uncomfortable with the service in the restaurant because the waitresses and waiters would all gather as I trying to ask some questions, it's not rocket science, it's just a question but certain English speaking people like the chef and Shirley made it much better. The Manager refused me to take videos of the pool, executive lounge, spa or gym because ”he doesn't have the key” , really silly excuse. I'm a blogger, I understood, these facilities are at the moment not in use because of COVID however a 2 minute video wouldn't of hurt anyone and I'm free marketing for the hotel. Room was fine, few stains on the floor and wall I thought could of been sorted. But room was fine. The breakfast buffet is the best I've had in China!!!!!!

When I came to the front desk to check in, I was surprised to inform me that I had upgraded, the staff service was not bad, the efficiency was quite high, and I quickly checked in. The room was arranged on the 15th floor facing Tianfu Avenue. The scenery upstairs was very good. After leaving the room, I can also receive a return call from the lady of the guest relations department, ask for check-in opinions, and perfect service!

This hotel was great! My friend and I originally were just going for two days, but extended to 3 because it was so comfortable. The bed and other amenities were great, and the staff was extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast in particular was exceptional. My only issue was that the location was a bit far from some of the major destinations in the city for nightlife and food, but it was easy to walk to the metro or get a Didi. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, pleasant stay in Chengdu!

Location is considered far away from the usual tourist spots that are located in the old town area. If one is not intended to travel to old town area (like us), then location is ok as it's just located next to a shopping mall with restaurants and spa shop. Service is fantastic especially we stayed at 6 different hotels during our 10 days trip. The contrast is obvious. If you are lucky like us, you will get to the LED show on the local twin tower which is an added entertainment bit. Breakfast spread is ok, taste wise average and service seems slow a bit. I got to admit I regreted to pay for breakfast of an additional guest.
