Great stay in Chepstow We stayed in the Whiskey Room which was a great size with a King Size bed. It had its own (huge) bathroom across the hall, only accessible to you. The bed was comfy with fluffy pillows and the road the house is on is very quiet. The house has a good size lounge that you have access to as well as the fully equipped kitchen. Also a rear garden with table & chairs, looked lovely but too cold to use in February :D Its just a short stroll to town, and there is a huge tesco a few mins walk the other way so great amenities all round, and a great base to explore the Wye Valley.

Lovely Amazing quaint property right in the center of Chepstow , overnight parking off site but only £1.50 for 24 hours Only 3 rooms for guests with a fully equipped shared kitchen. We only stayed one night while passing through but will definitely stay again

Best viewed as boutique accommodation the central location is a big bonus. The double room we shared was on the 2nd floor reached by 2 steep narrow stairways. Accepting the above our room was well equiped with a good shower. There is a shared kitchen and lounge downstairs including dishwasher, fridge and washing machine. Milk, tea, coffee and kettle provided in our room. Weather hot when we were there and with window open traffic was noisy in early morning. Location very good close to castle, good restaurants and pubs and river wye and for this reason worthy of serious consideration

Lovely little house with tastefully decorated communal lounge, lovely fitted kitchen complete with (I imagine) the original range but all mod cons for preparing tea, coffee and meals if required. We didn't as central to some great pubs etc for food. Our bedroom on top floor was good size with comfy bed, en suite shower room and tea/ coffee making tray. All very clean and fresh. Lovely enclosed courtyard out back to sit for breakfast in the sunshine. Craig the owner was great with information we needed regarding access to propertylovely stay on arrival, parking across the road for £2 per day and other bits. Lots of places to visit nearby, plenty of great walks and the castle. Highly recommend 8 Lower Church Street, we would stay again.

Very comfortable stay in a private house with easy access and cheap parking over the road, close to all amenities and kitchen facilities. The courtyard to the rear was perfect on a sunny day before the races and the landlord was very helpful thank you!

Liked everything about this property. Clean and comfortable room. Only thing i would say is the double staircase is quite steep so would be a problem for some people.
