The Queen at Chester Hotel, BW Premier Collection Reviews

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. A building with a history, Victorian era. Staff were friendly and the paintings around the walls are beautiful. The room was clean, large and the bed was just right, not too soft. Great location, just across the station and convenient to walk to town and other sites of interest. I would stay there again.

A lovely building, a lot of money spent on it. Bathroom was rather tight and would have been nice to have a king size bed.

hotel is well situated just a short 15 minute walk into the town centre. It’s an old traditional beautiful building but rooms needs some tlc, no hot water in our shower, creaky floors, in need of decorating and a good clean

Staff friendly but thought the meals were overpriced and the wine by the glass. Other guests annoying slamming their doors early in the morning and later at night coming back in.

The check in process was quite slow with no information provided nd there was no secure luggage storage until the 3pm check in. Thw bag was placed in reception and then later moved.to a side room which could be accessed by anybody. The room.was in a building connected my a walk way which was a.fair walk. As the main lift was not working, you had to cross through a large function room to a small back lift and use this. Sadly the main bar was closed for renovations. Beautiful main building.

A very good hotel and easy to reach. Nice rooms and helpful staff.

Booked hours before as we hadn’t planned on staying in Chester but didn’t want to end our night. Accidentally booked the wrong room and the receptionist Ken couldnt have been more helpful and sorted it without hesitation. Got a standard double room, previously stayed in a suite but honestly it was just as good! Clean, nice decor, really pleased. Will definitely stay as our go to when we visit chester

if you are looking for traditional UK hotel don't missing this hotel we lived in family room it is a biggest room🥺 the room is clean staff is very helpful

Price is reasonable. Good location, opposite of the train station. Very convenient walking to town centre. The building is very historical. Checkin very efficient & helpful. I definitely will come back again.

Allocated room 239 the smallest room in the hotel, was very unclean mold in bathroom around taps, vanity mirror very dirty ,generally dirty,my wife sat on a chair in front of mirror in room and chair collapsed,also found some womens underwear in a drawer. Complained to manager at reception and he said he would sort it out while we were at dinner and offered us a free bottle of wine and a pudding. Nothing was done so we Complained again at checkout to another manager he was understanding and said they would be in touch re refund etc,still waiting .Regards C.N.Dand.

Checked in to find the room we booked was not available. Booked a classic double with cot for baby. Only had twin room available with no bed for baby, and 2 single beds for me and my wife this was not the room we booked. Reception was very apologetic but there was nothing they could do. We had no choice but to accept as it was 10pm and no alternative. Hotel itself is very nice and breakfast was pleasant. Staff very polite. Just over shadowed by the room situation on this occasion. Stayed here before and will likely stay again.

Lovely room , great value for money . Went for my partners birthday and was good as not having far to walk to town . Had a nice drink in bar there. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time, lovely comfortable room. Didn’t like the dining room we had a meal for my birthday the atmosphere was very clinical white tables, white walls all very boring cold and will not be dining there again.
