天燈節期間造訪清邁，其中幾天選擇住在美平洲際酒店，位置還不錯，附近是水療按摩一條街，步行到塔佩門也就是十幾分鍾時間，輕鬆自在。電梯不是很快，房間裏空調很強勁，有點冷冷的的感覺。一樓的自助餐廳和泳池大堂吧，都有不錯的飲品餐食供應，五樓也有水療服務開設，品質可期。酒店的歷史與一代女神鄧麗君息息相關，如果預訂了鄧麗君下午茶，還可以參觀保留下來的鄧麗君客房。

中午到的酒店，check in寄存了行李，前台告知需下午3點才能入住。3點到了酒店，還是不能入住工作人員把我們帶到旁邊的大堂吧入座等待，期間為我們提供了免費下午茶服務，大概等了將近一個小時左右拿到了房卡。清邁的洲際酒店，房間面積不大，雙床房衞生間門對着床的側面。去古城有段距離。
