Impressed from the first sight With a shady atmosphere along the Ping River, the breeze blows coolly. Clean rooms, Wi-Fi facilities, TV, refrigerator, hair dryer. The highlight here is "Location" next to the Ping River, close to the Lek Khoa. It's easy to travel around and find things to eat. There are 7-Eleven convenience stores and Rimping Superstore nearby. Good service staff Beaming Waiting to help Recommend various information Excellent Overall, I'm very impressed. Suitable for relaxing and chilling. Experience the lifestyle along the Ping River in the heart of Chiang Mai.

Relaxing time by the river with the best view It was the best accommodation for me. However, it was a bit difficult due to the noise from the store next door until late at night. If you are sensitive to noise, definitely pass. All the staff are very friendly. It was convenient because the convenience store was right in front.

Overall: Small and Beautiful B&B advantage: The phone at the front desk is on call, and you can ask for a hair dryer Two free bottles of water per day can be found by grab Not far from the ancient city, 20 minutes walk to Tour groups can pick up and drop off shortcoming: Sleeping on the bed makes the skin a little itchy The bathroom is not separated from wet and dry, and the shower curtain is blocked room light is red Loud street music can be heard, neighbors banging on the wall open the curtain is the street no elevator there may be small mosquitoes

My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary end of February 2024 in Chiang Mai, which is located in Northern Thailand. My first impression at the airport was bad. We changed our smartphone SIM card but it required us to enter a lot of personal data to activate it. A word of advice, activate the SIM card at the airport of departure and not at the airport of destination. We tried to log onto the airport wifi but it also required us to enter a lot of personal details. We tried to use the taxi app Grab but no taxi in the neighborhood. We ended up paying an extra Bhd100 (We paid Bhd100 only from the hotel to Ching Mai International Airport) to use the airport taxi. Quite a rip-off of tourists. We booked the hotel Baan Ing Ping (translated into "Accommodation by the (Ping) river"). The hotel is literally on the bank of River Ping. It only cost us US$25 per night. It was a quiet little hotel run by a middle-aged woman. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious. We were worried for US$25/night, the hostel would be smelly, and the bed sheets and pillowcases would have stains. Not so. The bed sheets and pillowcases were clean and no smells. The delight came in the morning. The hotel serves toast with jam and butter, coffee, tea, and other drinks. Sitting at the breakfast table looking out to the Ping River would have given us quiet and peaceful moments if it hadn't been for the bulldozer digging in the river bed right outside the hotel. I said to my wife I would like to buy this hotel if the price is right because that's the sort of retirement life I am looking for. The owner lives in a little cottage in the garden of the hotel. In short, my wife and I both enjoyed what we loved doing. I played a round of golf (quite expensive at Bhd4000) and my wife went browsing nearly all the night markets in Chiang Mai. As our holiday was Monday to Friday, we missed the Weekend local market. It was our first visit to Ching Mai and I'll give the hotel and the city 8/10. It's a city worth visiting.

This is a lovely hotel overlooking the river. The garden is really pretty and has nice seating areas. My room was very spacious - the mattress was on the firm side and the air conditioning unit seemed quite old, it never fully cooled the room down. As I visited during Loy Krathong, fireworks were going off nearby until 4am so unfortunately I didn’t get much sleep. The area is probably much quieter outside of festivals.

A lovely small hotel located on the opposite bank of Anantara Chiang Mai where you can stay at a reasonable price. A small, nice hotel with the size I like. Considering the location, it can't be helped that the road in front and the surrounding area are noisy at night. River view rooms are quieter than rooms along the road. The garden and breakfast area facing the river are also nice.
