Candice at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure sour anniversary weekend was a special experience! Not only did she find a special room for us, but also sent up at one champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to make our night extra special! Everything was perfect for our special weekend- thank you, Candice and Fairmont— we’ll be back on our next Chicago trip!

I visited this hotel with my girlfriend and it was a good experience as it was close to downtown and close to several convenient areas.

A single room has a relatively small space and a general environment. It is suitable for one person to travel and live for a short period of time, and is suitable for people with low living conditions, such as students. There is a lot of traffic at the door, so you need to pay attention to traffic safety when going out. There are supermarkets, shopping malls, subway stations, etc. nearby, and the living facilities are convenient, but the sanitary conditions are average.

fThe hotel is quite new, clean and tidy inside, the soundproofing is a little poor, and the service staff is very friendly. The hotel is in a good location, close to Navy Pier, One Mile and Century Park. The breakfast variety is also OK.

I was here at the beginning of the summer and was very impressed with everything about the place. I have a feeling it is already very popular and might be hard to get into here during busy weekends. That being said, it will be the first Marriott location I will try to stay when returning to CHI.

The first night our temp would not go below 74-75 no matter where we set the thermostat. The next day we left for the day & evening. I told the staff about that and they said it would be fixed. We got back late at night to find it was g fixed, it was now warmer, and the hvac closet was wide open and would not close.. Housekeeping never came to our room. When I complained the next morning I was told the hvac system was designed to only turn on when there was movement in the room. I clarified, “so it doesn’t work when I’m sleeping in bed and not moving?” She said yes, that is the case. That is insane. Finally though after the 2nd day it miraculously got fixed and we got housekeeping.

I was pleasantly surprised when arriving at the hostel. It's in a beautiful street. Lincoln Park is such a lovely area, I wish I had more time to explore it. Tree-lined streets, great shopping and food options on Clark Street and close proximity to Lincoln Park and the beach. Also close to the subway to head into downtown Chicago. It's the nicest hostel I have stayed in. Spotlessly clean, large reception area and sitting room. Huge kitchen and fridges and free laundry which I took advantage of. If you're looking for a social hostel to meet people it didn't give me that sort of vibe, which was fine for me because I was out most of the day. There didn't seem to be any events on and everyone in the common area just seemed to be on their phone and keeping themselves to themselves, which again was totally fine for me. I stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom. The room was a great size with air-con, a table and chair and a bunk bed (single on top, double on bottom). The mattress was ok. The bunk beds were not great, a bit wobbly ( I wouldn't like to have had to climb to the top bunk), but it was fine and I had good sleep each night. The room was fresh and clean. I stayed 6 nights and it wasn't cleaned whilst I was there. With it being a hostel I'm not sure how this works? I emptied my own trash, asked for new towels and bedding which was fine but I would have liked it to be cleaned during my stay, not a big deal though considering the price, the fact its a hostel and generally how lovely it was. The shared bathrooms were spotlessly clean. There were four showers in the one closest to me. The staff were mostly friendly. One staff member was a bit rude when I queried the wifi, turned his back away and clearly did not want to engage (maybe he was having a bad day?) I just felt a bit awkward and like I was troubling him.. And the wifi was the only real negative. I struggled to get connected in my room throughout my stay and had to purchase data add ons which was an extra expense. Overall though, I would return. Brilliant set up and a gorgeous area.

Nice hotel. Full service hotel with a restaurant & bar. The staff was very nice. The rooms were great and had some items which sets them apart including great lighting (usually the lighting in a hotel makes it difficult to see if you’re trying to work), a large tv, and a bathroom with a fan.

This is a lovely building with much attention to detail in it's design. Our room was very nice with quality furnishings with one exception. We both felt that the mattress was extremely uncomfortable considering the higher price we paid for the room. Self parking is about 1/4 mile from the hotel entrance which seemed odd to me. There was no provision for a shuttle service. We ate one meal at the hotel - a banquet for the event we attended. The food was good but not outstanding. Overpriced for what we got. No free continental breakfast.

Except that it is a little off the beaten track, there are also restaurants nearby, but it takes a few minutes to walk, everything else is OK. The hotel has its own restaurant, so you have no choice but to eat at the hotel late at night. The taste is not bad. It is more than 40 dollars from the airport. I remember that there is a taxi called city cab from the airport, which is too expensive. Because he can't go anywhere else after accepting the order, he can only go back, so there is a fare that needs to be paid and shared with the driver. As a result, I paid more than 60 dollars, and more than 70 dollars including consumption, which is super expensive. The hotel breakfast is self-service. When you check in, you will be given a colored coupon, and then you come to order. It seems that each different color coupon has different types of options. Mine is purple, I suggest you look at my choice. At the same time, because I booked with Ctrip, the itinerary changed, and I couldn't cancel one night. I wasted 1,000 yuan, which is very unsatisfactory.
