Perfect mix of classic Tuscan villa and efficiency of a true 4 star make this small hotel just outside the Chiusi toll booth a real gem. Including the Locanda, an adjacent restaurant, top for meat, but not pretentious.

We stayed at Il Patriarca for 1 night. After arriving, we wished that we would've had more days to spend there. The hotel was beautiful. We arrived rather late, the staff was so accommodating and even gave us a room upgrade. The bathroom was so nice and clean, it was more like an "American" bathroom. You know what I mean if you've spent a decent amount of time in Italy. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There is a nice breakfast in the morning that is included with your stay. They had many items to choose from and of course cappuccinos! We didn't get a chance to have dinner in their restaurant, but we did talk to a couple that did and they said it was very good.
The grounds were meticulously kept, and it was a beautiful place inside and out! We will definitely stay there again if we ever get the chance to return to Italy!

We stayed 4 nights at Il Patriaca. Our room was spacious and very clean. We had a wonderful gourmet dinner our first night in the lovely dining room. The next few days we had a really fun learning experience and enjoyed the fruits off our labor for lunch. We drove to Asissi one day and enjoyed exploring the town and another day we drove a loop through Tuscany. We had dinner 2 nights at the Taverna at Il Patriaca. Food was quite good and service impeccable. This location is perfect for weddings, with beautiful grounds, flower gardens, etc.

Bellissimo weekend con la moglie, tutti gentilissimi e professionali. Camera pulita e spaziosa, letto comodo, bagno top. Cene alla Taverna del Patriarca (mezza pensione) fantastiche, i camerieri simpaticissimi e attenti. Anche la colazione molto varia. Andati per festeggiare i 50 anni di mia moglie che è rimasta contentissima. Attorno un parco bellissimo e curato. Consiglio vivamente!! Spero di tornarci
