Only 5 mins away from JieFangBei and 81 haochijie (night market). Only bad thing is that the building is under construction and construction starts at 9am on weekdays. Quite a pain in the ass if you wants to sleep in. Bedsheets are not changed everyday cause I see the same red mark on the sheets from day 1-3. Shampoo/conditioner are replenish everyday. Would be nice if there is do not disturb light is lighted when the hotel card is inserted. Hotel staff knocked and tap to enter our door at 10ish (and we are in deep sleep) and asked to do room service……. Hotel also provide clothes washing and drying service but 5 pieces per room. Hotel service is good, the hotel is in a good location: very close to Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, Chaotianmen, and it takes ten minutes to walk. Downstairs is the subway station, Line 1 and Line 6, it is very convenient to go anywhere, the front desk service is good, there is a small problem with the invoice, it is actively solved, and the corresponding speed is very fast.

Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel boasts unparalleled views of both the sparkling river and the bustling city skyline. The lobby was impeccably clean, with modern decor and well-appointed furnishings creating an inviting ambiance. However, my enthusiasm waned slightly upon noticing the state of the carpeted hallway, which appeared in need of a thorough cleaning. Despite this initial impression, the cleanliness and comfort of my room quickly restored my confidence in the hotel. The spacious accommodations were meticulously maintained, offering a serene retreat from the bustling city below. The large windows provided an uninterrupted view of the river and cityscape, allowing me to enjoy the stunning scenery from the comfort of my own space. The onsite restaurant promised a western breakfast; to be honest I had my doubts but my wonderful fiancé convinced me to book the hotel with the breakfast option included, however their idea of a western breakfast was toast, overcooked eggs, stale doughnuts and the rest you’ll refer to the pictures. While the dirty carpeted hallway was a minor disappointment, it did not detract significantly from our overall enjoyment of the hotel. With its unbeatable location, comfortable rooms, and stunning views, Roosevelt remains a top choice for travelers seeking a memorable stay in the heart of the Chongching. I would gladly return for another visit, hopeful that the cleanliness of the hallway and the breakfast matches the caliber of the rest of the hotel in the future.

The service at the front desk 00 of the hotel was warm and thoughtful, and all the questions raised were solved attentively. The transportation is also convenient. It only takes ten minutes to drive there. They also helped us upgrade the room type for free. When we entered the room, we were surprised. The room was really big and the overall quality was great. Clean. Although the room was renovated, I was really surprised when I stayed in the hotel. The room was clean and tidy, the environment was good, the sound insulation was good, and it was very warm. I will choose this hotel next time I come to visit.

Very quiet and centrally located hotel with many shops and eateries next to hotel. Taxis are very reasonable and easily available, with taxi stand just outside. Hotel set up is unusual, in that each floor of building is one complete hotel in itself. There are several hotels in one building. Rooms are quiet as windows look out to closed internal spaces. Walking distance to chongqing art museum. Breakfast is not lavish, however sufficient and healthy. Recommended! :D

The hotel is grand and its surroundings are tranquil and beautiful. I was delighted when the reception upgraded me to a room with balcony which is facing a golf greenery. Room is spacious and the room rate is a great deal considering that the hotel is looked exceptionally new compared to Hyatte Regency hotel that I stayed in Jiangbei which is priced much higher. Fashion outlet is within its proximity for those who like to shop and my mum really enjoyed the shopping convenience. We tried the Chinese restaurant and was given a discount for being IHG member even though I booked the hotel under trip.com The indoor pool is ideal for children and my kids really love it.

It’s really nice. The room is very clean, and it also provides free coffee and tea bags. It’s next to the subway station. If you want to go shopping, there are supermarkets nearby. You can also take the subway to Jiefangbei in about ten minutes. My first day I checked in late and ordered takeout at night. The lady at the front desk also helped bring it to the room. The room was really clean and the location was very good. It's next to the intersection. I really liked it. I will definitely stay here next time.

The hotel is part of the scenic spot and is busiest from 5-11pm, so taxis are a bit reluctant to drop off at the hotel because of road closures at that time. This is mentioned when booking the hotel so it is expected. In saying that, staying at the hotel means you don't have to travel anywhere to be in the middle of all the action. The place had rhythm and pulse all day and most of the night. The hotel itself is an adventure to explore but be warned there are stairs, stairs and more stairs. We didn't find any Western food, but there is plenty of hot and spicy food around.

The hotel is a little hard to find. I have a very poor sense of direction and I would have never found it if I hadn't called the front desk. The front desk also patiently told me how to get there. The toiletries in the room were in a small wooden box. I thought it wasn't there and asked the front desk, but the guy at the front desk told me that it was in the small wooden box. I really laughed at my own stupidity. It's convenient to go everywhere nearby, 77, and there are a lot of places to eat, but it's crowded.
