Nice place with a good view over Winckley Square. We just booked one night local to get out of the house as our son was having friends around for his 21st.
As we left the 20 and 21yr olds behind, was quite surprised to be met by the unmistakable smell of **** in the living room of the flat. Not a massive problem to be fair, but the sickly smell does tend to linger. The flat is quite nicely fitted out in a faux art deco style. Little things let it down though - the sofa back was broken, so not comfortable to sit on, the towel radiator in the bathroom either desperately needs bleeding or the flow is blocked (only bottom 6 inch gets warm) so the bathroom was cold. The lounge and bedroom radiators were switched off, so the flat was cold and unwelcoming when we arrived. I switched them on and it warmed up reasonably quickly. There were little crappy portable electric heaters in each room, the type you get in construction site porta-cabins. Doesn't really go with the art deco ambience they've tried hard to create. Would it not be better to just switch on the rads?
Getting in via the key safe was easy and the bed was comfortable. Not bad overall.
