"Really quiet location as it is right on the golf course. Great views over the ocean if you fancy a walk. Rooms have been newly refurbished with natural tones, soft lighting at headboard, comfortable bed with an array of pillows. Central light panel controls all room lighting - have a play! Really good desk space for work options, with desk light for ample lighting and power right there whilst working. No stretching of cords or having to share with the kettle. TV with great reception live TV. Spacious bathroom with toilet, large shower, large mirror and vanity space, 2 power points and sink. Reasonable water pressure and good temperature but could not tell which was hot or cold. Trial and error Breakfast included is good and tasty, basic with eggs, bacon, baked beans, hash browns and fried rice, selection of different toast and banana bread, coffee, tea, juices. Could probably do with some fresh fruit as well as an offering. Nice bush outlook at breakfast and plenty of seating. I had a corner room so my view was not the best - disappointing! The pool is beautiful and the spa is warm, even in the middle of August. I would come back but better view next time as the hotel was not full midweek. I would highly recommend a stay!"

"My husband and I both thought the Queen Bed was very comfy and we slept well. We had a rain water head shower which had a great pressure. The location was near all we wanted to see and do in Geelong. We came mainly for the Archibald at Geelong Gallery. We were able to do some shopping at Westfield as we don't have anything like that near where we live. We also ambled through Harris Scarfe which is also not near to us. The housekeeping staff were very affable and came with clean towels every day. We didn't have Breakfast in the Dining Room as we went out and about and had Brunch."

"I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Geelong. The room was spacious with a cute, modern design that made it feel really comfortable and inviting. The hotel is in a fantastic location—just a short walk to plenty of restaurants, which made dining out super convenient. One thing to note: parking is available on-site, but there is an additional cost, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. Overall, a very enjoyable experience!"

"We arrived in Geelong relatively late and the front desk was already closed. However, we were contacted quickly after calling, and we were given a room and room card. The room was large and soundproofed very well. Even if it was very close to the highway, you could barely hear any noise."

"It is a hotel with a self-service laundry room, but you need to prepare your own laundry detergent. The room is clean. The front desk will answer all questions, but they don't provide toothbrushes, so remember to bring your own."

"Great for a work stay while we have a construction job down there. Facilities were adequate for our needs and will stay again. Beds were comfortable and guests were happy with accommodation."

"Friendly staff, inside the room was very clean and seemed to be recently renovated. Easy parking and in a good location. Stayed there only a night, very good for the price. Had no issues."

"Very nice hotel. Excellent location on the waterfront close to the waterfront activities. We had a balcony which gave a view of the sea. Room was comfortable and clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Big shopping centre close by. On site Tempo restaurant was very nice - great atmosphere and good food. Just beware of the portion sizes - really big!"

"Pretty disappointed coz there is a lot of bug. The first photo is the night, before we slp, we found out that there is a lot of bug coming out from the pillow. We phone to front desk and they mention house keeping is already off. We change the pillow which there is a extra pillow in the cupboard. And we layer the bed **** with some disposable towel . Next morning they gave a full clean. Then the next morning while we wake up. Again saw the bug around the bed and pillow. Never slept back even i feel slpy. Great facility though with washing machine and great location. "
