"I called the hotel before my flight to ask about the shuttle bus service, and the girl who answered was like a robot in her answers and didn't seem interested in giving me very detailed or friendly answers. I was a little worried about finding the bus and asked if there was anything I needed to know about how to find the bus, and instead of explaining that the bus would have the name of the hotel on it (which was the case in the end, but isn't always the case in my experience- and I have travelled a lot) she just very robotically said to go to the charter pick up area. The shuttle bus was the main reason I booked this hotel, and I was a little bit choked by this interaction. The room was okay, it was clean, but confusingly unlit. The only light connected to a switch in the room was by the door, the rest of the room was lit only by 4 lamps (one of which didn't work) and it was incredibly dark in the room, even in the morning hours after the sun rose. The comforter on the bed was just a piece of batting sandwhiched in between two white flat sheets rather than a duvet cover. It would have been a nice service to have brought me a toothbrush to my room when I called down to the front desk and requested one, instead they made me come to the front desk in my pajamas for one. The hallways stunk of **** covered up by perfume. The guy who checked me in was nice and friendly, even though he had a lineup of people waiting to check in late at night and that must have been a little stressful for him. Overall, I felt the customer service at this hotel could be improved. Even if $120/night is not wildly expensive for Vancouver, it's still a lot of money, and the customer service doesn't need to suffer as a result."

"The location is super convenient, right next to international departures. You can get to downtown Vancouver in about half an hour on the Canada Line to Waterfront station. There are plenty of dining options at the airport, and the prices are comparable to downtown. The room was spacious. It's a great choice for a short layover, especially for early morning flights."

"The room was clean and tidy. It's very close to Chinatown, with many restaurant options. They offer a free, frequent shuttle service to Vancouver Airport, which is super convenient. The only downsides were the very limited breakfast selection (you even have to make your own waffles!) and the single elevator, which meant long waits."

"The room was new, clean, and beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. The view outside the window was also stunning. The only downside was that when we arrived an hour and a half before check-in, they wanted to charge us 60 CAD for early check-in. We ended up negotiating an upgrade to a better room for an additional 20 CAD."

"Don't hesitate to complain if you have concern about the room you booked that is different than what you received. I booked 2 bedroom 2 bathroom, I received only 1 bathroom, and 1 main bathroom was purposely locked. I complained, got free bfast for the next day and room changed. Although it kinda ruin my plan because of moving much, but ok lah. I will book again if come to richmond."

"Overall the location of the hotel and the room being clean; however, there were some drawbacks from our experience. One drawback was the hotel had a scheduled power outage which we never were given ample notice on. When we arrived we were asked if we got an email advising of the power outage and we advised that we received no such email. The day of the outage everything attached to the hotel was shut off except for one elevator for each tower, and all the restaurants within the facility. Had we known prior to arrival we could have may have decided to stay elsewhere for the one night. No compensation offered. The Casino remained open during the outage but restrooms had no water(very unsanitary) The food court pizza was terrible and the breakfast sandwich did not have much flavour. The buffet was average but had a nice view of the Frazer River."

"I’ve stayed here a few times before and it used to be very clean and welcoming. I requested a room that was away from the lift and quiet, but I ended up on the 6th floor close to the gym. In the morning, there was a dog barking outside short, but very loud. There was also a noticeable smell coming from the floor mat."

"The hotel's location is very close to the airport, and there's a free shuttle bus service to and from the airport. Restaurants and shopping nearby are also very convenient. The room was very clean, and the hotel staff's service attitude was excellent."

"I've stayed here several times, mainly because of its excellent location. It's super convenient for enjoying food, drinks, and entertainment before heading to the airport. The front desk staff are also great and very friendly. However, both elevators were out of service on the night I checked in... The environment is a bit old and just okay, but the cleanliness is fine."
