Hotels in Kangding

"Very new property, everything is clean and well supplied. They have a great coffee set-up.The staff is young and eager to please, they were the high point of my two-night stay. The location can be a bit of an issue. The property sits on a hillside above the main center of the town. Cars have trouble navigating the narrow, one-car-at-a-time streets. And sitting at 2000 meters altitude, you'll be stopping to catch your breath more than once. Grab the hotel's card and use taxis to do your sightseeing. Good value and would recommend."

"The hotel was clean. When I left in the morning, I saw the owner and his wife cleaning the place themselves. Disposable towels and seat cushions were provided. Parking was available, and the owner was very helpful, helping to carry our luggage upstairs. I asked him about traffic conditions before we left, and his advice was very helpful, saving us from even longer traffic. The area around the hotel was relatively quiet, and the glass provided good soundproofing. I forgot to take a photo of the room, but here's a picture of the Kangding River."

"The hotel enjoys a prime location in Kangding's core business district, facing Paomashan Mountain and overlooking the Zheduo River and Liuliucheng. On clear days, you can enjoy mountain views from both sides of the room. I highly recommend the window in the breakfast hallway on the fourth floor, which overlooks the golden roof of Anjue Temple. The Qingke ******* Restaurant and Bar, like Li Xian, is just across the street. The hotel facilities are relatively new, though the tap water is yellowish when it first comes out, but everything else is good. The front desk lady, Xiao Du, was warm and attentive, recommending nearby restaurants. We had Tian Liangfen, which was delicious, with a nice spicy chili pepper. We arrived too late to try the Kangjie Steamed Dumplings restaurant, a time-honored restaurant. We also checked out the restaurant and bar, like Li Xian, and the yak beef quilt was delicious [grin]. The seasoning of the beef cubes wasn't particularly impressive, and the desserts were just tasteful. The stir-fried vegetables were good, and the location was great for people-watching."

"Facilities: The facilities and equipment are very complete, the hotel decoration is very warm, super nice Hygiene: Very clean, no odor, and the most satisfying thing is that it is equipped with a disposable toilet seat. Very satisfied Environment: Located at the bus station, it is very convenient to travel, and you can enjoy the snow-capped mountains in the distance and it is very quiet at night Service: The service is excellent. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic. If there are any problems, the lady at the front desk will help solve them. I will stay here again next time."

"Loved the ******* aesthetic in this hostel. All wooden, felt like a rustic cabin. Staff were helpful, can help you with organising hikes etc. The common area is really cosy, bathrooms are clean and have hot water. Dorms are good enough, mattresses a little hard but that’s ok."

"Super beautiful and well designed hotel with exceptional service. After coming back from the mountains we felt so well taken care of and could get some rest: we could wash our clothes, got super tasty snacks for free and the staff immediately attended any question or requests we had. The hotel is also perfectly located in Kanding. Super close to two main temples and only a 20 minute walk to the city center. The view from the room we had was also amazing. Highly highly recommend this hotel when visiting Kanding - and we hope to come back again! Thank you again!"

"地點不錯，就在溜溜城旁邊，走路很近。停車場很擠，必須早上九點半到十點才能開出來，如果趕時間就比較麻煩。不過附近可能有停車的酒店不算太多吧，野可也還行。環境衞生就非常一般，淋浴間門把手上掛着一條別人遺留下來的內褲，噁心到我了。第二天早上起床才發現床尾床單上有一小點血跡。半夜停電了，被熱醒，起來出去走廊看了看，發現有燈，但是沒有找到停電後的應急指示燈，沒有任何走火通道的標誌，房間門上也沒有應急通道指示牌，也不知道樓梯在哪裡？擔心得一晚上沒睡好。希望酒店能夠做好走火通道標誌，這是酒店最基本的吧。"

"Service: After booking the room, a dedicated butler contacted us with the detailed address and directions, and guided us to the hotel via the Baitukan Tunnel. The hotel also has a dedicated parking lot. The hotel offers laundry service, which is very convenient. The owner was very patient and helpful when we asked about nearby restaurants and attractions. The hotel's fruit platter and breakfast were also very generous. Environment: As soon as I entered the room and opened the curtains, I was completely captivated by the stunning mountain view. It's about a ten-minute walk to the center of Kangding County, and I saw a plethora of beautiful roses along the way. Cleanliness: The room was very clean and tidy, and the bathroom had double sinks and a heated towel rack, which was a nice touch. Facilities: The hotel's restaurant offers a great view, and dining there was a delightful experience. The fourth-floor balcony was also very comfortable, and downstairs there were also billiards, mahjong machines, and other entertainment facilities. P.S. I'm not a shill, just a happy newbie who finally made it to my western Sichuan trip. Thank you Kangding and this fantastic hotel for making it a perfect start to my trip."

"We drove by ourselves and parked our car on the roadside above the hotel. We had to walk a staircase to get to the B&B. If you have a big suitcase, you have to walk slowly. The boss lady quickly arranged the room. The room was upstairs from the reception. The boss lady also asked the helper in the store to put our luggage outside the door. She was very considerate. The water for washing that night was hot🥵🥵. When we walked to the reception, all the employees had gone off work and we couldn’t get in touch by phone😑😑. When we asked the boss lady the next morning, we were told that the water supply was suspended after 00:00 that night😔😔 (It would be better if the lady boss reminded us of this when we checked in)  Before leaving the B&B, the lady boss arranged for an aunt to carry our suitcases to the parking spot. I really didn’t expect the power of this aunt The path I saw in the morning was beautiful, with many kinds of flowers planted When leaving the B&B and walking on the steps, the aunt also reminded us not to move so fast, as it is easy to have altitude sickness. It was really heartwarming🥰"

"The room is good, the boss is good, a big man who is very big, it is okay to hum a small song and sing a song that I can’t understand. The hotel is just next to the wild mushroom trading market. The boss also gave us a few big mushrooms to cook instant noodles. It’s delicious. The room cleaning is contracted for a single charge. It is better to find the boss directly if you have something to do."
