Kangding Hotels with Balcony

Facilities: Very comprehensive, has everything you need. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Great. The lobby is huge and has a fireplace that creates a wonderful ambiance. Friends from all over gathered here, and the owner even allowed volunteers to shower and do laundry for free. Such a great person!!!!!!! A big thank you to the owner!

This hotel is located off the main road, requiring a short drive on a dirt path up a hill. On clear days, you can enjoy a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains. All the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Since I was traveling alone, the hotel thoughtfully adjusted the hotpot portion to suit one person — which I really appreciated — and it was absolutely delicious. Every room offers a view of the snowy mountains. The in-room amenities are of high quality, the room is cozy and comfortably warm, and the size is just right — not too big or small. My favorite part, though, was the hotel’s common area, especially during sunset when the snow mountains turn red. The staff even invited me to step outside and take photos, which was so sweet of them. The next morning, I had to leave early, but breakfast normally starts late. Still, the staff kindly prepared an early breakfast just for me. Overall, the service mindset here is truly impressive, and the hotel’s common area is stunning — a paradise for photography lovers, with countless beautiful spots for pictures.

Excellent hotel in the borders of the Tagong grasslands. When we arrived, we were a bit worried that it was too far from the town, but the owner gracefully drove us there the next morning. After sitting down and watching the view for a while, we were completely satisfied for having chosen this place. The owner is extremely nice, we talked with him a few times. The hotel is on the land behind his family's home, so it's all very cozy. When we had problems calling a taxi from Muya temple, he went there to pick us up himself. He also assisted us on finding a ride back to Kangding.The ******* breakfast was very good, as well. Even though it is a tent and the toilet is shared, we found it cleaner than almost all hotels in the same price range in China. The beds are also nicely soft.

The room design and setup were decent, but the service was questionable. The female receptionist was quite friendly, but a male man who seemed to be the manager was very rude. For a room costing over 700 yuan, we asked for two extra bottles of mineral water, but the manager said it would cost extra. We opted to forgo the water but requested an extra bath towel. The manager deliberately brought us a towel with a burn hole. When we asked for a replacement, he brought us another towel with a burn hole. Only after we asked again did he finally provide a clean towel. Of course, we didn't dare use it anymore. This was almost the first time in recent years we'd encountered such service, and our hopes of staying here again this summer have completely vanished!

The butler proactively helped us with our luggage. This hotel is pet-friendly, which is a big plus! The rooms are clean and tidy, and the hotel itself has a great design aesthetic. The stream water was crystal clear, and the kids had a wonderful time playing in it! Now for the downsides. The hotel has a coffee shop, and the coffee was good, but the hotel restaurant was really disappointing! The dishes lacked character, and the only alcoholic beverages offered were beer and cocktails. The beer selection was just your standard Budweiser and Tsingtao, and I ordered a Whiskey Sour and a Martini, which I can only describe as possibly being local 'interpretations.' For a hotel positioned as a luxury travel destination, I was really let down that the restaurant didn't offer any wine, craft beers, or local specialty drinks. We came here to relax and unwind; the facilities are great, but the amenities just don't match up! I hope they can improve this.

We were driving from Tagong Grassland to Xinduqiao when we spotted this really unique hotel! ☺️ We immediately pulled over to check it out. The price was right, so we booked it online on the spot. The front desk lady was incredibly patient and super nice. She showed us a couple of rooms 😆 and the views from both were stunning. My sister ended up choosing the room with the curved balcony. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard, with excellent support. My Apple Watch even showed my sleep quality score as 90! That night, it snowed – experiencing all four seasons in one day on the plateau is no exaggeration! The room had underfloor heating, so it was warm and not dry at all. For breakfast, my favorites were the steamed dumplings and the tremella soup. Just look at the pictures for the comparison! 😘 Snow-capped mountains, high-altitude lakes, prayer flags, and meadows were all within sight. We even encountered some falling snow along the way – that's the ultimate romance unique to western Sichuan. Encountering the most breathtaking scenery in the shortest amount of time. The facilities are complete, and the service is excellent. Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel is right on the 318 road, with good facilities and lots of food around. There is a coffee shop opposite. The hotel breakfast is very exquisite. The hotel is very convenient to various attractions. In addition, there is a large grassland behind the hotel where dolls can move around. There are yaks eating grass there at any time, and it is also very good for taking pictures. The most important thing is that the hotel service is very good and very hygienic. They use bath towels and face towels, and there are also toilet covers.

The room layout is warm and comfortable, the mattress is super comfortable to sleep on, the front desk service is enthusiastic, and the boss is very enthusiastic to upgrade the room for free, with complete supporting facilities, adults can play mahjong, children can play, and the elderly can drink tea and chat. It is so comfortable. I will definitely go to Kangding again in the future. Choose Nanwu Academy again

The guesthouse was easy to find and conveniently located close to the city center. The place itself was lovely, spotless, and hygienic. The underfloor heating was incredibly warm – I didn't feel cold at all! The guesthouse hostess was incredibly warm and friendly. I'm usually a bit introverted, but her proactive greeting made me feel completely at ease. For breakfast, she served homemade porridge, eggs, steamed buns, and twisted rolls. The steamed sweet potatoes were exceptionally soft, tender, and sweet – so delicious I almost asked her where she bought them! Next time I'm in Kangding, I'll definitely stay here again!

After comparing several hotels, I chose Kangsheng. This hotel has a very high cost performance. It is located on the pedestrian street on the left side of Liuliu. There is someone to meet you at the door. The environment is good and it is not noisy at night. The photos seen on the website are the same as the actual ones, and the hygiene conditions are also very good.
