"I came to Shantou for a concert; it's been 7-8 years since my last visit, and the city has changed so much, looking a lot prettier. Junhua Hotel has an excellent location right in the city center, with convenient parking. There are many great restaurants within a few hundred meters' walking distance (I highly recommend Lin Er Claypot Porridge!!). The concert organizer even arranged shuttle buses to drop us off right at Junhua Hotel. It's an older hotel, but it seems to have been renovated a few years ago, so the environment is still quite good. The room facilities are comprehensive, although some small details in the corners show a bit of age, overall it's comfortable. The best part was the dressing table!!! I can't emphasize enough how important a well-lit room and a dressing table that isn't lit by a yellow overhead light are for travelers!!! Additionally, the hotel's Chinese restaurant offers quite affordable set meals with good quality dishes. It's a great option if you don't want to bother figuring out where to eat. Deliveries are usually placed in the locker, but if you leave a note and call, a robot can deliver them right to your room door. My schedule was a bit tight this trip, so I didn't get to experience the complimentary intangible cultural heritage activities. I'll definitely come back next time if I get the chance."

"Staying at Ethos Hotel for my trip was a brilliant choice! The bedding was so comfortable I literally didn't want to get out of bed, and the bathroom's wet/dry separation kept it feeling super clean and fresh. A big shout-out to Judy! She not only proactively offered local dining tips but also thoughtfully assigned a quiet room based on my schedule. She was always smiling and welcoming, professional and genuinely warm. She was definitely a major plus! ❤️"

"Our booking included Executive Lounge access, which came with afternoon tea and Happy Hour for two. On the first day, we went to the 24th floor to try the afternoon tea, and as soon as we entered, Linda greeted us warmly. She not only helped us with coffee and pastries but also patiently chatted with us and introduced us to unique local eateries around the hotel. The next day, when we returned for Happy Hour, Linda welcomed us like old friends, explaining the food options. The spread was so generous it could easily serve as dinner, with a variety of alcoholic beverages available, and a chef even prepared a special preserved radish congee on the spot. Overall, the professional service significantly enhanced the value for money of the executive room and was an added bonus to our trip – definitely worth the price!"

"Came to Shantou during the off-peak season and the hotel upgraded me to a Chaozhou Suite, which was very unique and stylish. **Service:** The hotel staff had a great attitude. If they're not too busy, they might upgrade your room type. **Environment:** It has a bamboo theme, with many bamboo-colored elements in the room and elegant, light tones, almost like Tiffany blue. My room was on the 12th floor, offering an expansive view and facing a very quiet residential area. **Facilities:** Relatively new. The suite is spacious with a well-designed layout, featuring an entrance hall, a shoe-changing area, a living room, the bedroom, a bathtub, two smart toilets, and a shower room. The bedding was very comfortable; I switched to a memory foam pillow and slept wonderfully. **Hygiene:** Very good, didn't encounter any issues."

"This stay far exceeded my expectations! The hotel boasts an unbeatable sea view; looking out from the window, the azure sea and sky stretched out as far as the eye could see – absolutely breathtaking! The staff's service was incredibly attentive too! The front desk lady not only upgraded our room type but also arranged adjacent rooms for our group, making our trip with friends a next-level experience!! The housekeeping staff even brought milk and a handwritten card when they delivered our items, which was such a thoughtful touch!! I truly highly recommend it!! I'll definitely come back again given the chance!"

"The Dihau Boutique Hotel is conveniently located very close to Shantou Railway Station. The hotel's decor is very modern, and although the rooms aren't large, they are fully equipped and technologically advanced. I was particularly amazed by the electric mist glass, it was my first time seeing it in a hotel!"

"The hotel's location is excellent; it's about an 8-minute taxi ride from the food street. Plus, the hotel is relatively new. A special shout-out to KiKi and Shiyan at the front desk – they answered all our questions and provided thoughtful service. A great hotel, highly recommended!"

"Check-in was super convenient; I did it online. The gate downstairs adds a nice layer of security, and the cleanliness was far better than I expected – really spotless. It's right next to MixC, and across the alley, there are tons of great food options, like Buhu Dumplings and a soy milk breakfast place. I'd definitely book here again if I get the chance. I didn't take any photos of the room myself, so I just used some from others."

"I found this hotel through Trip.com. It's very new and well-decorated. The service was excellent, and the guy at the front desk was also very nice and handsome! 👍👍 The location is quite central. It's only about a 10-15 yuan taxi ride from the Xiaohuayuan scenic spot, and it's also close to Shantou Station. 😀 The room was clean and tidy, really well-kept. For a hotel of this type, the value for money is outstanding."

"Highly recommend! After a disappointing experience at our previous hotel and struggling to find a suitable place on any travel app, my friend and I decided to book this hotel on the spot. We thought a five-star hotel couldn't be too bad, but the relatively cheap price made us a bit apprehensive. To our surprise, it turned out to be a huge pleasant discovery! Firstly, the hotel's cleanliness was impeccable – the carpets were spotless, and every detail was well-maintained. Secondly, the service was excellent; they even offered us a complimentary local snack (Guozhi) and provided a shuttle service to/from Shantou Station. I must say, hotels with Hong Kong investment truly deliver professional service. For less than 400 RMB, you wouldn't expect much, but the Emperor Hotel made us feel like we deserved the best! The hotel is relatively old, so there aren't many power sockets, which meant we couldn't easily charge our phones by the bed while using them. But that's a minor detail and really a matter of personal preference. Overall, we're extremely satisfied and would definitely return!"
