Hotels in Shantou Railway Station Area, Shantou

The hygiene, environment, and facilities were acceptable, but the service was poor. When checking in, I asked if there was a razor in the room, and the front desk said yes. However, when I got to the room, there wasn't one. I called the front desk to ask for one, but after half an hour, nothing happened. I called again, and a different staff member said they would follow up. Another 20 minutes passed, and it still hadn't arrived. I had to call the front desk a third time to chase it up, and it finally arrived after more than an hour's wait.

The hotel is conveniently located about 50 meters from a bus stop, with routes 2 and 6 going directly to the high-speed rail station. The 'Can Meme' fast food restaurant, just around the corner on Huanghe Road, offers convenient and affordable dining options. While the hotel's facilities are just average, the service and cleanliness are excellent, earning it a 5-star rating.

Great location, right in the city center and only three kilometers from the beach. There are many Shantou delicacies nearby, and excellent beef dishes within a kilometer. The night market is also very convenient. The room was neat, clean, and odor-free. The bathroom was quite spacious, with a good wet/dry separation.

This hotel was a true gem we discovered on our trip, hands down the best of the entire journey! The staff scheduling is very thoughtful; the morning shift has three lovely ladies who are gentle and patient, while the evening shift is handled by dedicated staff. Breakfast deserves a special mention – the 'kuey teow' (flat rice noodles) was amazing. The food selection is comprehensive, clean, and hygienic. The bedding in the rooms is neat and comfortable, and the parking lot is spacious with plenty of spots, so no stress about parking. The lobby has a pleasant aroma, and the air conditioning temperature is just right. Even the public walkway to the affiliated BBQ restaurant is meticulously clean, with no grease or stains, showing excellent attention to hygiene details. My stay here was fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel to all my friends in Guangzhou!

I was pleasantly surprised by how great this hotel was for the price. The room was simple, bright, and well-designed, not to mention clean and tidy. The facilities were new, and the soundproofing was excellent. They even have a gym and a laundry room. The front desk also provides a complimentary 'treasure box' with disposable amenities, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel's location is fantastic – very close to the subway station and within walking distance of Zhujiang Road Food Street, making it super convenient for getting around. The staff were friendly, and the value for money is outstanding. I highly recommend it for anyone on a budget!

Cleanliness: The room's cleanliness could use improvement; there were a lot of crumbs on the carpet. We booked an executive room, which was spacious and had good floor space, but it faced the street, so it was really noisy with motorcycles roaring by at night. The curtains didn't block out enough light, making the room a bit bright. The pillows weren't latex or buckwheat. There are many restaurants nearby, and a braised hot pot place nearby was quite good.

This hotel deserves a glowing review! Its location on Zhujiang Road is absolutely perfect, with tons of local specialty food right downstairs. The service was excellent; they went above and beyond, changing my room twice without any fuss. They truly did their best to meet all my needs, and I'm very grateful. I'll definitely be back in Shantou, and when I do, I'll be booking this hotel again.

I booked the Imperial Hotel last minute, and as soon as I arrived, I was told my room had been upgraded for free! It was huge and spacious, with brand new facilities and luxurious decor. They even have a free swimming pool for guests – truly befitting an established five-star hotel. The location is also great, close to Zhujiang Road Food Street, which I actually think has better food than Longquan South Road Food Street. The hotel service was absolutely impeccable, especially our butler. She was incredibly thoughtful and patient, contacting us even before we arrived. Once we were there, she surprised us with local Shantou specialties and toys for the kids. Before we left, she proactively arranged our ride to the high-speed train station. The hotel driver was super fast, getting us from the hotel to the station in just five minutes. Our whole trip was made so much better by staying at the Imperial Hotel; I'll definitely be back here next time I visit Shantou!

The hotel felt very clean and refreshing overall, and this impression stayed with me from check-in to check-out. During the day, the front desk even offered free coffee. After checking in, the room itself was also very clean and refreshing, with a really thoughtful design. The hotel organized various activities at different times, such as healing sessions during the day, and also cocktail and coffee hours – they always had little events going on. If we had any issues during our stay, the butler service was practically instant, responding and resolving problems 24/7. There was also a Tmall Genie in the room that could directly call the front desk, and you could add the butler on WeChat, so all requests were met – it made our stay incredibly convenient. Breakfast was on the top floor with a bright design and a good variety of options. For parking, they have their own convenient parking lot, and if you have a lot of luggage when checking in, a butler will even help you carry it up to your room.

This time I stayed at Atour Hotel, which is conveniently located near Shantou High-Speed Railway Station, right next to Zhujiang Road Food Street. I checked in quite late, and there was a minor issue with the air conditioning in my room. The front desk promptly responded and moved me to a different floor. As an Atour member, I received complimentary breakfast for two and got to try Chaoshan Kway Teow. After checking out, I realized I'd forgotten my power cable. I called the hotel's customer service, and they quickly sent it back to me via SF Express. Their service in this regard was really on point. What truly impressed me, having stayed at many Atour hotels, was that the pillows at this Shantou Atour were exceptionally comfortable. I immediately decided to order some for myself, and they've already arrived. I'm currently testing them out!
