I highly recommend Ruru Glutinous Rice, Pork Blood Soup, and a breakfast spot next to Lao Wu Sweet Soup—their Guozhi and Guotiao are delicious, and the braised intestines are amazing, as are their eggs. It was a lucky find! Cleanliness: Very clean! You're not allowed to eat or drink in the rooms, which shows the owner is serious about running a proper hostel. The slippers are washed and disinfected daily, and you have to change shoes when you enter, so it's spotless. I wanted to check out the rooftop on the fourth floor, but it was under renovation, so I'll save that for next time. The building itself is older, but overall it's clean and comfortable.
