"What I loved most about my stay at the Golden Gulf was two things: their dim sum breakfast and the location. First, the dim sum. The Jinhe Hall truly lives up to the reputation of a long-standing five-star hotel. The shrimp dumplings are freshly made and steamed, with thin skins and juicy, bouncy filling – a real delight in every bite. The phoenix claws are steamed until tender and flavorful, and the Buddha Jumps Over the Wall soup uses authentic, high-quality ingredients! The ambiance is also pleasant, with a spacious dining hall and high ceilings. The location couldn't be better. It's right in the city center on Jinsha Road, next to MixC World and Suning Plaza. It's only a few minutes' walk to Longyan South Road Food Street, perfect for an evening stroll to sample all sorts of Shantou snacks. There's also an airport express bus stop right at the entrance, making it super convenient to get to Chaoshan Airport and Shantou Station – no worries about transportation at all. As for the room, being an older five-star hotel, the facilities do show their age and aren't particularly trendy. However, they are clean, tidy, and spacious enough. The staff are also very friendly and helpful, making the overall stay comfortable. If you're not too picky about the newest hardware, this place offers excellent value for money, especially for its dim sum and prime location. I'll definitely choose it again next time I visit Shantou."

I heard this is Shantou's first-ever five-star hotel, so I expected it to be quite dated, but it was unexpectedly nice. The electric kettle, refrigerator, and safe in the room have all been replaced with new ones, the bedding is very comfortable, and the service is excellent. My butler, Linna, was extremely responsive throughout the stay. You can also have food deliveries brought up by a delivery robot by contacting the butler, which was super convenient and thoughtful."

"This Mid-Autumn Festival, I stayed in a Deep Sleep room at Atour Seeya Hotel in Shantou, and the experience far exceeded my expectations! The location is superb, right next to the MixC shopping mall. It's very convenient to get to Xiaogongyuan and Nan'ao Island, and taking a stroll in the evening was particularly pleasant. I booked a Deep Sleep room, and the mattress was just right in terms of firmness. There were memory foam and down pillows to choose from. Combined with blackout curtains and a quiet air conditioner, I slept soundly until morning. The room's soundproofing was excellent; I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway or the street. The bedside also offered a small aromatherapy diffuser, a steam eye mask, and a calming herbal tea, all with soothing scents. Overall, the value for money is great.
