The rooms were spacious, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The bedding was just right, not too soft nor too firm, suitable for family members of all ages. The hotel environment was quiet at night, allowing everyone to get a good rest. The surrounding area has excellent dining, shopping, and entertainment options, so we didn't have to go far for meals or groceries. It was also convenient to take a taxi to various attractions, and the facilities were well-maintained. This hotel is perfect for a big family trip."

"The Sheraton Shantou is the most expensive and foul-smelling hotel I've ever stayed in, and my experience was terrible. The air in the hotel was awful; after just one night, I developed an upper respiratory infection, a cold, fever, and headache. The carpets were incredibly dirty and smelly, and the hygiene was appalling. I don't understand why anyone would stay here or why it's recommended. However, both the hotel staff and the Trip.com employees had excellent attitudes. Whatever you do, do NOT stay at the Sheraton Shantou in Longguang if you go to Shantou; you'll just get sick!"

The housekeeping staff explained that they had killed them the day before, but they had escaped today, indicating the hotel hadn't handled the aftermath properly. When I checked out, I asked the housekeeping staff if they had reported it, and the front desk replied no, showing a lack of proper handover. No wonder there was no feedback. The soundproofing wasn't very good either."
