Excellent
BBellaxingxingThis hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Zhujiang South Road Food Street. If you're heading to Nan'ao Island by public transport, bus 161A is about an 8-minute walk away. Tianshan Beef Hotpot is also within an 8-minute walk. Even going to Longyan South Road or the high-speed rail station, a taxi ride is only around 10 yuan. The front desk staff were very helpful and answered all my questions, even allowing me to have a late check-out until 1 PM. The room's cleanliness was decent. The facilities are up to the usual standard you'd expect from a Ji Hotel. But the best part was how quiet the room was (it didn't face the main street), which allowed me to get a great night's sleep. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Shantou.

YYuanyuandechengParking at the hotel is convenient. Upon entering, the lobby made a great impression, feeling spacious and bright! The elevators were also convenient, but the hallway on our floor felt a bit stuffy. We booked a suite, which was very spacious, and the sofa in the living room was very comfortable.
Now, let's talk about the downsides: housekeeping issues. We had to remind them to provide extra toilet paper and water. On a second occasion, we were short two towels and two bath towels, and the bath mat on the bathroom floor wasn't replaced.
Moreover, the hotel surprisingly houses a KTV or perhaps a disco. The vibrating noise from it was incredibly noticeable on the 9th floor late at night. We stayed for three nights, and only on the second night was the sound slightly softer and ended a bit earlier. Especially on the third night, I couldn't help but call the front desk to complain. They said they would send security to intervene, but ultimately, there was no improvement. The partying went on from around 10 PM until roughly 2 AM, leaving my head throbbing from the noise.
The hotel breakfast selection was limited, but the beef kway teow was delicious! What's more, there are plenty of good dining options within a two-kilometer radius, and they all taste great.

LLaohuiyuanchongxinkaihaoThe hotel's location is super convenient, within walking distance to Longsheng Beef Hotpot. The room decor is simple and clean, with good air circulation. The service was excellent, and they even provided a tea set, which was a nice touch for enjoying some tea. It's also close to the high-speed train station, making arrivals and departures very easy. I actually prefer staying a bit further from the main attractions; I feel the comfort level is much higher this way.

My parents, sibling and I stayed for a total of 3 nights in their 4 pax room.
It’s a beautiful and tastefully decorated accommodation with personal courtyard and interior. Bed and duvet were so comfortable especially in the chilly weather of 18 ~ 22 degrees. I didn’t spot anything obvious I can complain about regarding the cleanliness of this place, hence 5/5 for cleanliness.
Location is perfect (5/5). Next to streets of food places that have good ratings, and super near 万象城 shopping mall (restaurants, luxury shops, retail and more). Anyways cabbing around Shantou is really convenient, fast, and affordable. Even though it is nested amongst other tall residential area, once we close the door we couldn’t hear much noise from outside.
Service is 5/5 as well. There’s free pickup and drop off serviced from the railway station. There’s daily fresh fruits delivered to us, as well as chicken soup. There’s also free laundry service which we really appreciate! Staffs were always ready to help and always ready to give recommendations. We really felt their hospitality and they are genuine in providing best service possible.
Amenities is 5/5 as well. The hair dryer is Laifen brand which is so strong and sleek looking. They provide disposable towels on top of those reusable towels. Their slippers are fluffy and comfy. They have like everything we need.
Bonus: Their residential cat and her kittens are adorable!!!
All in all wonderful stay and would stay again if i ever visit Shantou again. Suggestions for improvement: (1) more variety in breakfast options (stayed for 3 nights and felt that some breakfast options would be great), and (2) the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are a little too hard to pour out maybe can consider using press bottles.

GGuest User1) Excellent location close to the large and modern shopping mall MixC with lots of eateries. Also lots of other food choices in the neighborhood. Short walk to food street Longan South Road, though not my favourite.
2) Great soundproof with double-glazed windows. Traffic on the busy streets did not affect us at all.
3) Service was excellent. The representatives at the reception were very helpful. They gave us a late check-out because our HSR train was to depart at 3:40pm.
4) There is a tea table in the lobby for you to make your own fruit/flower/health tea, and a small box with extra items of interest during the stay. The gym is small but I was the only person ysing it so it was okay.
5) Our ONLY issue was that when the room nextdoor was occupied by other guests, the plumbing showed some weakness - when our neighbors showered, the noise of the running water was so loud I thought my husband was showering in our room... But the disturbance only lasted for a short while.
6) FYI there are a few floors in the building still occupied by other tenants not related to the hotel, but it would not affect the quality of your stay.
Overall, it's GREAT VALUE money! Do consider staying here.

This hotel has an excellent location, within walking distance of many popular attractions, and very convenient for transport. The room was clean and hygienic, the bedding was soft, and there were no strange odors. The air conditioning worked well and was quiet. The bathroom facilities were complete, and there was plenty of hot water. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including local specialty snacks, which tasted great. The staff were warm and attentive, and even provided a travel guide. It offers incredible value for money, highly recommended to anyone planning a trip here!

YYuyuanyuanputaoThe hotel room was pretty good, and the air conditioning worked really well. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and they answered all our questions. The only downside is that the area around the hotel is extremely noisy. It's loud at all hours of the day and only quiets down around 10 PM. Since I was with my parents, who are light sleepers, they had trouble sleeping. On the first day, the bedsheets looked like they hadn't been cleaned properly and had stains. As for breakfast, it was quite crowded, and after waiting for a while for the noodle station, there was nothing left when I went to pick it up.

GGuest UserI have to give this hotel, especially its service, a glowing review. I unexpectedly twisted my ankle and, on a whim, asked the front desk if they had an ice pack. To my surprise, they did, and even gave me two! Then, after getting a traffic violation while driving a rental car, I wanted to resolve it before leaving Shantou. I asked the front desk if the nearest traffic police station could handle it. They immediately suggested the Shantou Municipal Administrative Service Center, which wasn't far from the hotel, explaining that it could process violations and had longer operating hours. Following their directions, I was able to handle everything in one go. So, the front desk service definitely deserves a big thumbs up! 👍
The hotel has its own spacious parking lot with plenty of spots available.
Even though the hotel has been open for a while and shows some age, all the facilities in the rooms are perfectly functional. Items and drinking water were replenished promptly every day, and the cleaning was very thorough. The service standards haven't declined just because the hotel is older; in fact, the hotel is gradually upgrading and renovating its rooms.
The hotel is just across the street from Wanjia City and about a 10-minute walk from Longyan South Road. There are multiple bus routes nearby, making it very convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. Right downstairs, there's an airport shuttle service that takes an hour directly to Jieyang Airport, costing 28 RMB per person, with tickets available on demand and departures on schedule.
