Shantou Hotels with Gym

This hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Zhujiang South Road Food Street. If you're heading to Nan'ao Island by public transport, bus 161A is about an 8-minute walk away. Tianshan Beef Hotpot is also within an 8-minute walk. Even going to Longyan South Road or the high-speed rail station, a taxi ride is only around 10 yuan. The front desk staff were very helpful and answered all my questions, even allowing me to have a late check-out until 1 PM. The room's cleanliness was decent. The facilities are up to the usual standard you'd expect from a Ji Hotel. But the best part was how quiet the room was (it didn't face the main street), which allowed me to get a great night's sleep. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Shantou.

The staff helped me do my laundry, saving me three hours in one day! This is what I loved most, a big thank you to the front desk. I also really liked their breakfast – coffee, bread, main courses, meat dishes, they had it all, plus congee and noodles, and various small side dishes. The location is excellent, right next to the Zhuhai Comprehensive Market. My room faced the market, but there were no smells or noise. You can also book a room on the other side, further away from the market. Personally, I think the location is superb; within a 300-meter radius, there are five bakeries, and it’s a 300-meter walk to Zhujiang Road, with plenty of food and drink options along the way. The service staff were enthusiastic and polite, and they definitely changed the duvet cover. I'm very particular about that, and they actually brought a cart to change the bedding when cleaning the room.

The hotel is newly opened and has a great overall ambiance. The hygiene conditions are excellent, and the room details are well thought out, including a mini-fridge and tea-making facilities. The bathroom is a highlight with its high-tech toilet and excellent toiletries, and the water pressure for showering is fantastic and very comfortable! The front desk staff are enthusiastic, always ready to answer questions, and genuinely think of the guests' needs! There's free coffee and tea on the first floor of the hotel, which are quite good! The rice noodle roll place next to the hotel is also good, and it's not far from Zhujiang Food Street, which is very convenient!

I spent a long time choosing a hotel for my trip to Shantou and finally decided on the Sheraton, as it's an established brand I trust. 1. Before my trip, they proactively added me on WeChat to confirm my itinerary. After learning it was a family trip, they not only upgraded my room but also thoughtfully added an extra bed and prepared welcome fruit. The moment I opened the door to the room, I felt how incredibly thoughtful the hotel was! 2. The welcome staff, front desk, and floor service personnel were all well-trained, greeting us with smiles. Especially when they saw me with large suitcases, they immediately helped me take them to my room. Their customer-centric approach is excellent! 3. The location is convenient, just a few minutes' walk to MixC shopping mall. The area is lively but also offers a quiet retreat. 4. The room facilities are well-maintained. It would be even more perfect if the bathroom had a clothesline, which would be very convenient for travelers to hang their laundry.

The air conditioning temperature was just right, not too cold or too hot, and it didn't blow directly on us. The room was super comfortable, clean, and elegant. The bed was incredibly comfortable to sleep in, and the service was excellent—warm and attentive! 👍

Kevin at the front desk was very welcoming, the environment was good, and the breakfast was great. I stayed for two consecutive days and it was excellent. I also recommend Sixi restaurant across the street, the food was good and the staff were all very friendly. ❤️

Parking at the hotel is convenient. Upon entering, the lobby made a great impression, feeling spacious and bright! The elevators were also convenient, but the hallway on our floor felt a bit stuffy. We booked a suite, which was very spacious, and the sofa in the living room was very comfortable. Now, let's talk about the downsides: housekeeping issues. We had to remind them to provide extra toilet paper and water. On a second occasion, we were short two towels and two bath towels, and the bath mat on the bathroom floor wasn't replaced. Moreover, the hotel surprisingly houses a KTV or perhaps a disco. The vibrating noise from it was incredibly noticeable on the 9th floor late at night. We stayed for three nights, and only on the second night was the sound slightly softer and ended a bit earlier. Especially on the third night, I couldn't help but call the front desk to complain. They said they would send security to intervene, but ultimately, there was no improvement. The partying went on from around 10 PM until roughly 2 AM, leaving my head throbbing from the noise. The hotel breakfast selection was limited, but the beef kway teow was delicious! What's more, there are plenty of good dining options within a two-kilometer radius, and they all taste great.

Found a gem in Shantou! Staying at the Bamboo Rhyme National Style Hotel is so healing ✨ Who's still blindly searching for hotels in Shantou?! I extended my stay at this DIOTEL Chao Hotel for two nights straight, I just didn't want to leave! 👍 As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by bamboo 🎋-themed decor, a perfect blend of national trend and new Chinese style. The turquoise green hues look fresh and clean, while the vintage wall lamps and landscape murals create an incredible ambiance. Every photo you take here turns out beautifully! The room space is huge, and the floor-to-ceiling windows provide amazing natural light. Sunlight softly streams in through the sheer curtains. Just flopping onto the sofa with a hot drink is incredibly relaxing 🍵🫖. The bedding is super soft, and the mattress firmness is just right. After a long day of exploring Chaoshan and trying snacks, my legs were aching, but I just laid down and slept soundly until morning! When I had some free time, I even got to experience making intangible cultural heritage Red Peach Kueh (Hong Taoguo) ♥️ by hand: kneading the dough, filling it, and pressing the patterns – I did it all myself. After it was cooked and steamed, I brought it back to my room, truly immersing myself in the local Chaoshan vibe! I absolutely loved the small round table; it was perfect for laying out all the local snacks I bought to slowly enjoy. Plus, thoughtful details like a makeup mirror and smart devices are all provided, making for a worry-free and comfortable stay. To all the ladies visiting Shantou, just book this place with your eyes closed! The environment is quiet and so aesthetically pleasing. Kaiyad hotel is located in the main road and its very easy to reach there and also have so much facilities around there specially for foreigners many western restaurants and also if you are coming to business work this hotel is much convenient The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly but they don’t have more varieties for breakfast

This hotel deserves a glowing review! Its location on Zhujiang Road is absolutely perfect, with tons of local specialty food right downstairs. The service was excellent; they went above and beyond, changing my room twice without any fuss. They truly did their best to meet all my needs, and I'm very grateful. I'll definitely be back in Shantou, and when I do, I'll be booking this hotel again.
