VVey and JeyI stumbled upon LABEL Lebai Hotel on Hengshan Road for my trip to Shantou, and it turned out to be an absolute hidden gem! The moment I walked in, I was blown away by the interior design. It has such a unique and trendy vibe—totally different from those stuffy, traditional hotels. Every corner is super photogenic; you can really tell they have great taste. I have to give a massive shout-out to the service here—it is genuinely so warm and welcoming! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly. When checking in, because one of our rooms needed twin beds, they kindly upgraded us from a King room to a Twin room for free, which was a huge help. What touched me the most was a little mishap in the middle of our stay. I was being a bit scatterbrained and couldn't find my glasses anywhere. I was getting really anxious, so I messaged them, and they were so patient and helpful, even offering to check the CCTV footage to look for them. They actually found them, which was an enormous relief! To top it all off, they even gave us a lovely souvenir gift upon check-out. Such amazing attention to detail! The whole experience was fantastic—stylish, comfortable, and full of genuine hospitality. I will definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Shantou!

BBellaxingxingThis hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Zhujiang South Road Food Street. If you're heading to Nan'ao Island by public transport, bus 161A is about an 8-minute walk away. Tianshan Beef Hotpot is also within an 8-minute walk. Even going to Longyan South Road or the high-speed rail station, a taxi ride is only around 10 yuan. The front desk staff were very helpful and answered all my questions, even allowing me to have a late check-out until 1 PM. The room's cleanliness was decent. The facilities are up to the usual standard you'd expect from a Ji Hotel. But the best part was how quiet the room was (it didn't face the main street), which allowed me to get a great night's sleep. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Shantou.

TTravellingWallyNo regrets paying more for this beautiful homestay! 花多点钱住这里一点遗憾也没有！ My parents, sibling and I stayed for a total of 3 nights in their 4 pax room. It’s a beautiful and tastefully decorated accommodation with personal courtyard and interior. Bed and duvet were so comfortable especially in the chilly weather of 18 ~ 22 degrees. I didn’t spot anything obvious I can complain about regarding the cleanliness of this place, hence 5/5 for cleanliness. Location is perfect (5/5). Next to streets of food places that have good ratings, and super near 万象城 shopping mall (restaurants, luxury shops, retail and more). Anyways cabbing around Shantou is really convenient, fast, and affordable. Even though it is nested amongst other tall residential area, once we close the door we couldn’t hear much noise from outside. Service is 5/5 as well. There’s free pickup and drop off serviced from the railway station. There’s daily fresh fruits delivered to us, as well as chicken soup. There’s also free laundry service which we really appreciate! Staffs were always ready to help and always ready to give recommendations. We really felt their hospitality and they are genuine in providing best service possible. Amenities is 5/5 as well. The hair dryer is Laifen brand which is so strong and sleek looking. They provide disposable towels on top of those reusable towels. Their slippers are fluffy and comfy. They have like everything we need. Bonus: Their residential cat and her kittens are adorable!!! All in all wonderful stay and would stay again if i ever visit Shantou again. Suggestions for improvement: (1) more variety in breakfast options (stayed for 3 nights and felt that some breakfast options would be great), and (2) the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are a little too hard to pour out maybe can consider using press bottles.

XXingzoudeJeffWhile visiting Shantou, I stumbled upon this guesthouse near a small park. It had a charming, vintage feel reminiscent of the Republic of China era and was in a fantastic location. Without hesitation, I cancelled my previous reservation and booked a double room and a twin room to experience it. The stay included complimentary tickets to the opera stage and sweet soup. The staff were also very welcoming, and my family was very satisfied.

MM40647****It's super convenient to order takeout here, and it's just a short walk to the beach or the promenade for food and sightseeing. The suite we booked with our child was very convenient and even offered a sea view. The guesthouse has a shared kitchen fully equipped with pots, pans, a fridge, and an air fryer, etc. Downstairs, there's a market where you can buy groceries and cook your own meals. The front desk also has beach toys for guests to borrow, and when we checked out, they even gave us a fridge magnet and seaweed as gifts. The service was excellent, and we had a very pleasant stay.

YYumiaotongxingOur experience at the DIOTEL Chaoshan Hotel in Shantou was absolutely fantastic! The front desk service was excellent, and our room was clean and tidy with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The nightly DIY 'Red Peach Kuih' activity was so much fun, my girlfriend was engaged the whole time. The Teochew opera performance on Saturday night offered an immersive experience of this intangible cultural heritage. The overall bamboo-themed design is elegant, and the spiral staircase is perfect for taking photos. I highly recommend the hotel's BBQ dinner; the ingredients were fresh, the flavors authentic, and it had a wonderful lively atmosphere. It's a one-stop shop for eating, staying, and entertainment – super convenient and definitely worth a second visit!

They also specially provide our room upgrade for seaview to our special honeymoon couple. The hotel’s room & lobby cleanliness is well-maintained. The housekeeping team did an amazing job, and I truly appreciated their promptness and consistency throughout my stay. The location is also a major highlight – conveniently situated near key attractions located at seaside , dining options, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. It made exploring the area effortless, and I could easily return to the hotel for a quick rest before heading out again. The amenities are well-equipped, thoughtfully designed to cater to both leisure and big group of families. From the helpful lounge areas to the private big room, and in-room conveniences, everything was in place to make my stay both enjoyable and productive.
