EEhuocikehaifubingOverall, it was decent. After all, Chaoshan has become a popular travel destination in the past two years. Hanting hotels are always a safe bet, and this trip to Shantou was for relaxation and good food. The hotel is located north of the Huanghe Road elevated highway, but the soundproofing of the windows is quite good; at least, I slept well. The only downside during our stay was that my wife and I both got several bites, which we couldn't identify. They weren't itchy, but there were several small red spots. Additionally, the towels replaced on the second day had stains.

My parents, sibling and I stayed for a total of 3 nights in their 4 pax room.
It’s a beautiful and tastefully decorated accommodation with personal courtyard and interior. Bed and duvet were so comfortable especially in the chilly weather of 18 ~ 22 degrees. I didn’t spot anything obvious I can complain about regarding the cleanliness of this place, hence 5/5 for cleanliness.
Location is perfect (5/5). Next to streets of food places that have good ratings, and super near 万象城 shopping mall (restaurants, luxury shops, retail and more). Anyways cabbing around Shantou is really convenient, fast, and affordable. Even though it is nested amongst other tall residential area, once we close the door we couldn’t hear much noise from outside.
Service is 5/5 as well. There’s free pickup and drop off serviced from the railway station. There’s daily fresh fruits delivered to us, as well as chicken soup. There’s also free laundry service which we really appreciate! Staffs were always ready to help and always ready to give recommendations. We really felt their hospitality and they are genuine in providing best service possible.
Amenities is 5/5 as well. The hair dryer is Laifen brand which is so strong and sleek looking. They provide disposable towels on top of those reusable towels. Their slippers are fluffy and comfy. They have like everything we need.
Bonus: Their residential cat and her kittens are adorable!!!
All in all wonderful stay and would stay again if i ever visit Shantou again. Suggestions for improvement: (1) more variety in breakfast options (stayed for 3 nights and felt that some breakfast options would be great), and (2) the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are a little too hard to pour out maybe can consider using press bottles.

The room I was assigned upon check-in was extremely noisy. Whenever the neighboring room used water, there was a water hammer noise from the pipes, loud enough to wake someone up. The electric kettle in the room was very greasy, indicating it hadn't been checked after the previous guest checked out. After complaining about the noise, I was given a different room, but the teacups and mouthwash cups in the new room were also very dirty. The bathroom drainage was also faulty; even after the hotel cleaned it, the problem persisted the next day—my feet were dirty after showering. I have photos and videos to prove all of this. This hotel's rating is definitely inflated.

入住时被分配的房间有巨大的噪音，只要隔壁房间用水，水管就会有水锤噪音，足以把人吵醒。房间内的电水壶里面非常油腻，可见前一位住客退房后水壶完全没有被检查过。投诉噪音问题后换了一个房间，但新房间的茶杯和卫生间的漱口杯又非常脏，浴室的下水也有问题，酒店清理后第二天还是一样，洗完澡脚是脏的。以上均有照片、视频证明。此酒店的评分一定有水分。

NNiuzierhaoFacilities: Relatively new, the room was a bit small but that was fine. The smart toilet seemed to be malfunctioning a bit, felt unnecessary, and the light was too bright, affecting sleep.
Hygiene: Quite clean, hope they maintain it.
Environment: Convenient location and transportation. Rooms facing the road might be noisy. Very limited parking, so we just parked on the roadside.
Service: Breakfast was very mediocre. I'd recommend eating out for local congee, noodles, or rice noodle rolls instead.

Every staff member I encountered – from reception to housekeeping – went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness, efficiency, and genuine hospitality really made me feel valued as a guest. They also help to receive my taobao delivery of parcels. Well down for all staff. They also specially provide our room upgrade for seaview to our special honeymoon couple.
The hotel’s room & lobby cleanliness is well-maintained. My room felt fresh, tidy, and inviting, with thoughtful touches that showed the care and attention put into daily upkeep. The housekeeping team did an amazing job, and I truly appreciated their promptness and consistency throughout my stay.
The location is also a major highlight – conveniently situated near key attractions located at seaside , dining options, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. It made exploring the area effortless, and I could easily return to the hotel for a quick rest before heading out again.
The amenities are well-equipped, thoughtfully designed to cater to both leisure and big group of families. From the helpful lounge areas to the private big room, and in-room conveniences, everything was in place to make my stay both enjoyable and productive.
Overall, my experience here was nothing short of excellent. It’s rare to find a place that delivers consistently on all fronts – service, location, and amenities – but this hotel truly does. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their dedication and kindness. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future.

3320510****The room's location is decent, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. It's a hotel-apartment with two large beds, which is great for families with two kids. However, it has its drawbacks. The soundproofing is poor; you can clearly hear conversations from surrounding areas. The biggest issue is the extremely small bathroom, making it very inconvenient to use the toilet – you pretty much have to leave the door open. The shower, on the other hand, is fine with good water pressure. For the price, it's acceptable; you can't expect too much.

RRenmomoLet me start by saying the owner didn't offer any gifts or discounts for this good review – these are purely my personal feelings.
**Environment:** The location is absolutely fantastic. It's right next to the Kai Fu Culture Museum and the Post Office, about a 5-6 minute walk from Xiaogongyuan (Little Park). Plus, it's not inside the pedestrian street, but right on the main road, making pick-up and drop-off by car super convenient.
**Hygiene:** They provided disposable towels, which we were all very happy with. The toilet and bedding were clean. The living room was spotless and very new; the living and dining areas were large and comfortable.
**Facilities:** The only slight drawback was the limited number of power outlets. It was a bit tricky to find a spot for our portable electric kettle. However, there was a real gas heater in the dining room, which was wonderfully warm and cozy.
**Service:** 100-point service! We ordered a lot of deliveries, and the staff not only received them but even delivered them to our room. We were also celebrating a birthday (with the understanding that we'd clean up all decorations ourselves), and the staff not only discreetly stored our cake but also gave us a small birthday gift. They were always friendly and chatty when we came and went. It really made us feel like all Shantou people are genuinely good-hearted, haha.
**Summary:** We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit!

GGuest UserThe location is decent, right at one end of Zhujiang Road Food Street, but it's still a bit far from the city center.
The hotel design is quite creative.
I booked three months in advance and specifically requested a south-facing room on a high floor. When I checked in, neither request was met (oddly enough, the front desk guy specifically told me they'd arranged a high-floor, south-facing room for me).
The mini-bar offers a complimentary first round daily.
In the evenings, the restaurant provides free congee and sweet soup.
I stayed for 3 days but only had breakfast once. I'm not picky about breakfast; as long as there's enough to eat, I'm good.
During the Spring Festival, they had a DIY local snack event in the evening. After making them, they'd be delivered to your room. However, they mixed up the deliveries; we got someone else's, and ours went to another room.
I didn't take many photos, so I'm just adding a few random ones to fill space.

GGuest UserThe location is great, just a few minutes' walk from MixC mall, making it super convenient for getting in and out. You can catch a bus on Longyan Road, and for taxis, Baidu Maps or Gaode Maps are recommended, though during peak hours, the bus might be more convenient. I didn't get to try Xinhua Wuji, but I heard you can get a number in advance and then come back when it's your turn – you should give it a try! My last meal at Chaofu was really good. Now, back to the room: it looks exactly like the pictures online, very spacious. The bed is wide, so it's perfect for groups. I really liked the height of the pillows. The owner is very welcoming, and the service is excellent; I'd definitely choose to stay here again. One suggestion though: it would be even better if there were one or two charging ports by the bedside.
