The service is average, there is no nail clipper;
I stayed in two rooms twice, the phone was bad, the answer was that some phones had problems and then repaired them. I was surprised that 2 different rooms were broken? The central air conditioner installed has no cold air. The front desk said that we have natural wind. What to do if it is hot at night, and said that you open the window to sleep.
I'm speechless, useless things, what are you pretending to do with him, occupy a place?

The overall impression of the hotel is not very good. When I entered the guest room, I encountered the auntie cleaning the guest room and filled the road. Then she told him the room number. She checked with us and actually followed us to the door of the room and shouted at the room. ”Xiao Yang!” When no one answered, he told us that we could enter. This operation was too confusing. The design of the small refrigerator and the water bar was unreasonable and crowded! finally! When I left, I left something in the room. I called to confirm. The hotel actually told us that we didn't find our things when cleaning the room. Forget it, it's not a particularly valuable thing, but I have to write this feeling! Hope the hotel can strengthen management! The only advantage is that the room has a bathtub, which the kids love!

Great quality for the price. The hotel is a bit dated but still very nice. The room floor was not the cleanest but the room was very comfortable and had everything we could need. The bed was the best.
The staff although they didn't speak English were very nice, responding to our questions using the translation devices. Great location to visit the mosque too.

小小马克斯This hotel has some absolutely great features but overall I would never stay there again.
I was initially very impressed with the great service on check in (including no fuss about a foreign passport) and the high tech features of the hotel seemed amazing - you use an an app to open the door and control the room functions such as opening the curtains and turning on the lights. There was also a robot wandering around with no obvious function but had some mad telekinesis skills on show in the lift. So far, great, impressed, 5 stars.
However, all of this high tech wizardry was no good when the temperature of the room was like 30 degrees and there was no air con. It was actually a pleasant and cool evening in Xining and walking back to the hotel after dinner I was even partially looking forward to a nice warm duvet. But the room itself would make the Fins sweat. There was no place for duvets in a sauna. We phoned reception about this and they suggested opening the window (a revelation that we'd made independently), however the window in question was about the size of an A4 paper and the draft was about as powerful as an asthmatic playing air saxophone. We asked for a fan and they said they get it sorted but they never did so we had to open the door thereby exposing any other guests to this sight of me starfished in a pool of sweat.
Apart from the being hotter than the surface of Venus, the TV also didn't work, or at least it did for about ten minutes before cutting out.
Essentially long story short, this hotel was nailing some of the top level stuff but needed a bit of works on the basics.
Breakfast was so so. Tea or coffee would have made it better.

GGuest UserA very nice hotel, just next to Xining Station. It is very convenient to check in when traveling. I have to say that the hotel service is very good. Zhuoma and Xiaoma at the front desk gave a bottle of hot mineral water after check-in. It was so considerate, despite the weather. It was very cold, and it stopped being cold all of a sudden. It must be praised! The breakfast coupon was given in the morning and the souvenir was given after the invoice was issued after leaving the hotel. It was a very pleasant stay.

This is a good place for a night or two or if you're passing through the city. The staff is very friendly and helped whenever they could.

GGuest UserThe location is good but the hotel needs some work on the facilities. The taps in the bathroom sink were dirty and were not smooth (either very little water or a lot of force). The carpets also could do with a good clean. The breakfast was ok though with some chinese and western food. Not many choices but enough to fill you up.

The security uncle is very enthusiastic and can provide proactive guidance. I asked the front desk that only two bottles of water are provided in the room, and more is not provided. However, the room provides free Wangwang snacks for children. Service? Front desk room staff feel tired dealing with guests.

SSpinTheWorldI have to start by saying that the reception staff is just amazing. Very lovely and welcoming people.
Location is a bit away from main trafic knots. So if you plan to travel around to Qinghaihu or Chaka salt lake you should probably stay closer to the train station as both buses and trains leave to these destinations from there.
During the summer season there are a lot of mosquitoes. Rooms are not equiped with a mosquito net or window screen to block them. It is quite hot in the room so we slept with the window open and got bitten all over the place. Didn't get much to sleep during our night long battles with mosquitos. So bare in mind no AC and mosquitos.
And unfortunately there was a staff member (male) that was smoking in bathroom that is shared by all the guests of the hotel. As a non smoker I'm completely against such behavior, so hopefully that will be noticed and proper measures put in place.

Xining Wildlife Park
牧牧紫里Originally for rabbits, snow leopards and desert cats, these unique animals on the plateau, did not expect to exceed expectations! The zoo is very clean and tidy, and it can be seen that it is taking care of it. The battery car in the park greatly rescued the leg that had to be broken after a few days of travel. I met several battery car uncles who were very enthusiastic and energetic, and their goodwill for the zoo was instantly full. The giant panda is still top-ranking, and the children are the most connected. I bought a more tasteless stamp card and drank 38 yuan of yak milk tea. The giant panda cup is definitely a feature! The children like it very much. I also carefully read the introduction of the rescue snow leopard and desert cat. I was moved and shh. I hope this safari park will get better and better. Riyue Mountains (Sun and Moon Mountains)

Xining People's Park
BBenjamin Sch.it’s a nice oasis of nature in a dry dusty city. in early April the city is not yet so beautiful but in People’s Park you can relax a little. don’t expect too much from it, such parks you can find in every city but in Xining it’s still nice to blend into local people. if you have time take the Giant Wheel, it’s quite new and gives a great overview over the city.
Qinghai University

Formerly known as Qinghai Institute of Technology, founded in 1958, Qinghai University merged with Qinghai College of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, Qinghai Medical College and Qinghai School of Finance and Economics in 1960. The school covers an area of more than 3,000 mu, with more than 4,600 existing faculty and staff, more than 27,000 full-time students, and nearly 70 undergraduate majors. The location of the school is a bit biased. Although the area is relatively large, it still feels a bit broken. It is recommended to Qinghai University for Nationalities located in the city.
