Find the Cheap Xining Hotels

We are travelling through Gansu & Sichuan and I booked the Mercure as a couple of nights for my husbands birthday. The first room we got was OK, a little shabby and not the cleanest but a nice bed and sofa and the aircon seemed good. My husband took a shower for all of 30 seconds and the bathroom, corridor and toilet completely flooded. So we moved rooms. The next room didn't flood but the aircon was pretty feeble and the toilet cubicle smelled. We didn't complain, having already moved once. This room was an over all improvement. The breakfast was pretty miserable, no coffee and mostly Chinese dishes. I had expected more from a western brand but nevermind, we ordered coffee and food to the room. Plus points - The staff are very nice and friendly, they accommodated us on the new room and gave us some treats as an apology. The bus to Kumbum Monastery is directly across from the hotel and you can arrive there in 45 mins, public bus number 909, 4¥. Starts at 6:30am. The breakfast is OK. There is a free laundry room, we did lots of laundry and it dried over night. We stayed in a non smoking room and it really was non smoking which is rare for China. It smelt fresh and the bedding and towels did not smell of smoke. There were however people smoking everywhere else in the hotel which seems quite common expecially in this province. Overall, I would stay here again but I think the price is a little high for the offering in comparison to some Chinese brands in the city.

Staying at Shengli Hotel is like going home. Every employee you meet welcomes you with a smile. Zhu Haoxue, the front desk, serves with a smile, is proficient in business, and handles check-in quickly. When you come to the room, you feel at home. It is clean, comfortable, and odorless. The bathroom and shower room are separated into wet and dry areas. The big bed is comfortable and the pillow is good for sleeping. Looking out the window here; the green trees, gardens, and courtyards are prosperous and bring a good mood. I praise Kong Jianwen's enthusiastic and thoughtful service. Walking into the breakfast room, the fragrance is overflowing. The beef sausage, quinoa porridge, barley cakes, homemade potato chips, and Qinghai beef noodles are fragrant. The dry fried beef river is authentic and delicious. The dishes here are exquisite, the service is intimate, and the environment is elegant, which makes you feel good. I praise the receptionist He Wei for his meticulous service to the guests. I praise Song Xin for caring about my stay experience and praise every employee who has served me. 環境特別好，比較夢幻，孩子特別喜歡。早餐也非常豐富。提一下建議，在我們因孩子小傷口有些感染撥打總枱電話詢問是否有碘伏時，前台人員衹是告訴我們沒有，附近沒有葯店，衹有一個小診所還估計關門了。由於是晚上，酒店位置比較偏，外賣也送不了。其實挺無助的。雖然幫不上忙，但是顧客需要葯品，酒店客服是否能詢問一下發生了什麼事情，需不需要幫助，這應該是人性化服務的標準。這點體會不好，小小的遺憾。

I am writing to express my disappointment with the unprofessional conduct of two male front desk staff members I encountered during my recent stay at this hotel. I approached the front desk to inquire about to extend my stay. The two staff members I interacted with were both rude and dismissive, speaking to me without making eye contact and answering in a very loud voice. Their behavior was unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome. I understand that front desk staff members are often busy, but there is no excuse for treating guests with disrespect. I would appreciate it if you would address this matter with the staff members in question and ensure that all your employees are trained to provide excellent customer service. I hope that my experience will be addressed and that future guests will not encounter the same issues.

On the first day I checked in, there was a smell in the bathroom sewer. Because it was an old hotel, the facilities were not new. Later, I returned to Xining and looked for a few hotels. I found that the Goluo Hotel was the best. This time, there was no smell in the sewer in the room, especially the bath water. It's big and very comfortable. The hotel also provides two complimentary breakfasts. The elevator must be swiped with the room card, which makes it feel safe.

The hotel has good service, high-quality staff, excellent location, and clean rooms! Very satisfied and can recommend friends to stay. Can recommend tour groups.

The hotel waiters are very professional. The hotel front desk upgrades the room for free. The hotel has a beautiful environment and convenient transportation. There are many delicious places near the hotel. The room facilities are complete, the service staff are enthusiastic and thoughtful, and the lady at the front desk is enthusiastic. The room is clean, tidy and hygienic. I will stay here again next time I have the opportunity.

Hygiene is very clean. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry areas. Breakfast is on the fourth floor. There is porridge and many kinds of steamed buns for breakfast. Milk, soy milk, coffee, chrysanthemum tea 4-5 vegetables, sausages and fried rice can make you full There is no air conditioning in the room. With the windows open at night, there is a bit of noise from the large cars outside. There are small supermarkets nearby The service attitude is very good. No photos were taken.

Many hotels in Xining don't have air conditioning. It was really hot these two days, and the room was stuffy and uncomfortable. The front desk said that the electric fan was out of stock, and the humidifier was covered with green moss. The window of the room I was assigned was right outside the railway track, and I couldn't open the window at night. In short, it was not comfortable to stay in. There was sand on the bed, buttons on the carpet, and the walls of the bathroom were dirty.
