GGuest UserOn this business trip to Xining, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Xining Chengdong the entire time, and my overall experience was fantastic. I have to especially commend Julie at the front desk; her meticulous service made me feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is located on Bayi East Road in Chengdong District, right next to Wuyue Plaza, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also not far from the highway entrance and Xining Station, which is great for both driving and public transport. As a newly opened hotel, the lobby design is elegant, and the room amenities are brand new and complete. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view, and the room was spotlessly clean. The 24-hour gym and self-service laundry facilities are well-equipped, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, including local Qinghai specialties like yak yogurt and甜醅 (sweet fermented oats). I arrived feeling exhausted in the evening after a long journey. Julie greeted me with a constant smile and efficiently handled the check-in process. Seeing my heavy luggage, she proactively offered to help carry it and patiently explained the room facilities, Wi-Fi password, laundry room, and breakfast times. When I casually asked about self-driving routes to Qinghai Lake and local food spots, she patiently outlined an itinerary, even recommending niche attractions and reminding me about precautions for high-altitude travel. When my room card stopped working, I contacted the front desk and Julie came to resolve the issue within minutes, without any pretense. Her service was professional yet down-to-earth throughout, without any rigid formalities; she genuinely thought about the guests. While good hardware is a hotel's foundation, warm service is what truly adds value. Thanks to Julie's thoughtful service, my travel fatigue disappeared. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xining, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The front desk staff, especially the lady at the city view desk, was very enthusiastic and upgraded our room, and even upgraded breakfast for our child.

HHHG123Hilton's quality is consistently reliable. The rooms come standard with humidifiers, perfect for the dry高原 climate. There's 24-hour laundry (washer and dryer in one). Breakfast includes yak yogurt and ga mian pian (local noodles). It's super convenient for visiting Ta'er Monastery and Qinghai Lake. Located on a main thoroughfare in Chengdong District, parking is free and ample. Upon check-in, they offer hot ginger tea to help with altitude sickness. The bedding is soft and the soundproofing is excellent. It's a top choice for a rest stop on a road trip.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel last minute for a sudden business trip. On the way, I accidentally lost my charger, and I urgently needed to work that evening. I contacted the front desk just to try my luck. The staff quickly brought charging equipment and thoughtfully reminded me to call if I needed anything else. The room was meticulously cleaned, even the corners were spotless, and the bed was soft and quiet. I worked late into the night, and there was hardly any noise in the hallway, so I slept very soundly. The location is convenient for getting around, and the overall atmosphere is warm. A small, unexpected hiccup actually made this stay particularly memorable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time because this hotel is just so heartwarming, and the service is incredibly attentive. Aside from the view outside the window, just this detailed and thoughtful service alone left a great impression. It's excellent value for money and well worth staying.

The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and efficient; check-in was quick, and they even helped carry my luggage to the room. The room's facilities were new and complete, with a fresh and elegant ambiance. The decor was simple yet cozy. Complimentary disposable toiletries, bottled water, and tea were provided. The hotel maintained strict hygiene standards; the bedding was changed after each guest, and the entire room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust in even the trickiest corners. Overall, everything was excellent. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining.

GGuest UserI am a little disappointed. Advertising said English speaking staff. One lady spoke some English but mainly used translator - which is fine - but communication was very difficult. I experienced the following issues: The room was extremely hot and it seems it’s centrally controlled. When I said it was too hot they didn’t adjust it but gave me a humidifier which didn’t help with temperature. When I was checking out I asked to help to call the taxi - their initial response was to walk - 15min. I have 3 heavy bags and am also feeling sick so I didn’t want to walk. I asked again later - they just said hi to the bus stop and get a taxi. I was surprised that they couldn’t be bothered to down with me and get one for me - knowing that I can’t speak Chinese - it’s few minutes of their time. They were standing around not doing anything anyway. So very disappointed overall. One positive is that they packed me a small takeaway breakfast for fist morning when I had to leave early. Please try to help your guests - small gestures of care makes a big difference!

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room; it was spotlessly clean, with no dust even in the corners. The bed was just right in terms of softness, and I fell asleep quickly. The soundproofing was also good, I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway at all. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with check-in and check-out. Any requests I had were promptly addressed with a quick phone call. The facilities were comprehensive, with stable hot water and clean bathrooms. It's incredibly good value for money. This will be my top choice when I visit this area again, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

GGuest UserThis is honestly the best deal in town. I have been coming to Xining for 10 years, stayed in different hotels each time. This is for sure my favourite one and the best deal in this range of prices. First, the location. Right in the city centre, with a lot of taxis coming by (this can be an issue for hotels in other locations, where taxis are more rare). It is super convenient and one can reach any part of town efficiently and quickly. There are many buses that go from here to anywhere in town. Second, the quality of the room, of the bed (super super cosy and comfortable, which is really nice after travelling roughly for two weeks in the nearby countryside), the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Very good hygiene products, not cheap toothpaste and soap like in other hotels. Third, and most importantly, the quality and warmth of the service. At the reception, the employees are very friendly and understanding, very warm-hearted, You feel really welcome in this hotel. They have helped me in several ways. especially Mrs Jane and Mrs Sunny Bai: fantastic people! They also speak English! Makes the whole stay memorable, enjoyable, relaxing. I will surely come back here next time. This is an upper-tier hotel made available with affordable prices. Thank you!
