The rooms also come with air conditioning, providing both cooling and heating. When checking in, they even gave us yogurt, which is a special handmade yogurt from Qinghai and tastes exceptionally good. The hotel's smart speaker can control the lighting, which is very atmospheric. My check-in experience was very satisfying, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next business trip. The hotel's facilities are all very new, and I'll recommend it to my colleagues. It's rare to find hotels with air conditioning in Sydney, so I was very pleased with this choice. I worked late into the night, and there was hardly any noise in the hallway, so I slept very soundly. The location is convenient for getting around, and the overall atmosphere is warm. The transportation is very convenient, and it's very close to the Qinghai Museum! However, it takes too long for the shower to get hot water, and the drain is too slow, causing water to overflow into the vanity area!

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is just opposite Xining Train Station and is quite convenient for transportation. The hotel room was clean but having cigarette smell even though I requested for non smoking room. The safe in the room was not working and the bathroom drainage was blockage. Most of the hotel staff here are not friendly and helpful. I would stay in other hotel if I visit to Xining again.

During my trip around Qinghai Lake, I stayed at the Kaiyuan Hotel in Xining, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is very close to Xining Station, within walking distance, which is super convenient for catching high-speed trains. The front desk staff were very dedicated and proactive in helping with any issues. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, and the restaurant was spacious. They also have an underground parking garage, which is great for those traveling by car. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bedding was very comfortable. The hotel's surroundings have a well-developed commercial area, making shopping and strolling very convenient. It's close to Xining's shopping streets and night markets. Highly recommended!

The bathroom featured excellent wet/dry separation, the hot water supply was plentiful and consistent, and the complimentary toiletries were of good quality – no need to bring your own! The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The freshly cooked dishes, in particular, were incredibly tasty and cooked to perfection. Enjoying such a delicious, hot breakfast in the morning truly brightens your day. The location is also superb, just a few minutes' walk from the high-speed rail station, making it incredibly convenient for visiting attractions and night markets. At check-out, the front desk staff thoughtfully inquired about my stay and any potential areas for improvement. This level of attention to detail and commitment to feedback truly won me over. All in all, this was an extremely satisfying stay, and I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit!

The hotel room and its bathroom are very large spacious and they would meet four star hotel standard if they were kept clean and well maintained. But the carpet throughout the hotel needs to be changed and only one (and two later) out of four elevators was (were) working that caused big problems when all room were occupied. Guest reported the problem to the local police and a second elevator started to work one day later. Overall a great asset but very poor managed.
