GGuest UserThe service was excellent. I arrived by train around 8 AM and checked in early because there were vacancies. The room was very warm, and the receptionist kindly arranged a room close to the laundry room, which was very convenient for washing and drying clothes. There was also an ironing machine, and a coffee machine on the first floor. The breakfast was also plentiful, making me feel right at home.

AAnonymous UserCheck-in Experience: The front desk staff were incredibly efficient, and the lady at reception had a warm smile. She thoughtfully introduced the hotel facilities and local attractions. Our room was upgraded to a high-floor city view, offering a spacious and bright feel the moment we stepped in.
Room Amenities: The decor was modern and minimalist, with great attention to detail. The mattress was just right – neither too soft nor too firm – ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The toiletries were of good quality.
Service Quality: Housekeeping was very responsive; an extra set of pillows arrived within five minutes of our request. The turndown service was meticulous and even included a handwritten weather forecast card. Breakfast offered a wide variety, with delicious local specialties.
Location: There's an airport shuttle right outside the hotel, and the surrounding area boasts numerous shopping centers and restaurants. It's also easy to get a taxi to tourist spots. Despite being in a bustling area, the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a completely undisturbed stay.

GGuest UserThe amenities are fine. Insulation is also fine. However, room could get stuffy as there’s no AC. You might not be want to open windows as hotel is facing a highway. Besides, some of the female front desk staff always seemed pissed. While the male staff were in general more friendly. Shout out to the cleaning lady who was kind, friendly and helpful.

SSee LimWe stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is just opposite Xining Train Station and is quite convenient for transportation.
The hotel room was clean but having cigarette smell even though I requested for non smoking room. The safe in the room was not working and the bathroom drainage was blockage.
Most of the hotel staff here are not friendly and helpful.
I would stay in other hotel if I visit to Xining again.

GGuest UserSelf-driving China Xining Station, the room exceeded my expectations. It is recommended to first look at the price and then look at the hardware. The room I booked on the APP at that time was more than 50, and more than 50 in many second- and third-tier cities. I could book a youth travel, not even a separate bathroom, but look at what he has matched for you. First of all, there is a 40-square-meter large room with a separate wardrobe. It is exaggerated to say that you can play football in the room. It is also equipped with a small book bar. Next to it is the People's Park. It is half a villa room. The disposable supplies are provided for you. The bed is clean and itchy. It is very quiet, although there is no air conditioning. But when I set it, it snowed in mid-November and there was floor heating. It was not that row of heating pipes, but real floor heating, very warm. Look at this price, what am I not satisfied with? I booked for 2 consecutive nights and must be praised. If there are shortcomings, this hotel takes 7 8 minutes to walk out of the bus stop. The shower with the overhead shower has no independent shower, which is a bit inconvenient.

XXihuanS-MAXThe hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the very heart of the city center. Mojia Lane and Daxinjie Night Market are very close by, and there are plenty of shopping malls as well. If you're driving, traffic can be a bit congested but not severely so. The hotel's parking lot isn't huge, but guests are guaranteed a spot, which is a major plus for a city-center location. The price is quite reasonable, which I suspect is partly because they cater to at least two tour groups, and secondly, the room facilities are a bit dated. However, and most significantly, the room reeked of cigarette smoke. Even the towels and bath sheets had a strong smoky smell – I almost suspected a convention of chain-smokers had just finished meeting in the room! I really feel that even if smoking is permitted, a room shouldn't smell *that* strongly of smoke.

There are quite a few groups, and there aren’t many people after breakfast at 8:30. Individual check-ins can be staggered between groups.

11860011****My stay at Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel in Xining completely exceeded my expectations. Every moment, from check-in to check-out, was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. I absolutely have to sing its praises!
First off, the service was exceptionally warm and attentive, making the entire experience fantastic. As soon as I arrived, a doorman proactively helped me with my luggage and directed me to the Sky Lobby on the 21st floor. Check-in was super efficient, and they even thoughtfully recognized my member status and upgraded my room for free, along with complimentary fresh welcome fruit. The 24-hour front desk was always responsive to my needs; whether I needed directions or extra items, they were quick to assist. The staff were friendly and professional in every detail, adding a touch of warmth to my trip.
Secondly, the facilities were comprehensive and high-end, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The design of the Sky Lobby was simply stunning, blending Chinese style with panoramic views. In the evening, I even caught a breathtaking sunset – perfect for photos! My room was spacious and bright, with a well-designed layout covering over 50 square meters. It featured a soft sofa, a large desk, and even a humidifier to combat the dry climate in the Northwest, which was a very thoughtful touch. The guest rooms were fully intelligent, with features like sensor lighting and electric blackout curtains adding a futuristic feel. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a bathtub, and the toiletries were high-quality. The King Koil mattress provided an amazing sleep experience. The hotel also boasts a free gym, a table tennis room, a book bar, and a tea room – perfect for either exercise and relaxation or quiet reading. The amenities truly cater to various needs.
What truly surprised me was the breakfast – it was abundant and unique. Served at the buffet restaurant on the 5th floor, it covered everything from Chinese and Western to Halal cuisine, with an incredibly wide variety. There was freshly prepared Lanzhou beef noodles, authentic Halal 'Sazi Mahua' (fried dough twists), and other local specialties, along with hot dishes, cold dishes, congee, bread, seasonal fruits, and excellent freshly ground coffee and squeezed juices. I particularly recommend the hotel's yogurt; its rich and creamy texture was delicious with grains or fruit. The dining area was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating, so there was no need to wait in line – a perfect start to an energetic day.
Additionally, the hotel's location is superb. It's right next to Xining Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Within a 1-kilometer radius, there's a night market, large shopping malls, and the distinctive Mojia Street pedestrian area. It's also close to the Dongguan Great Mosque and the Huangshui River, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The free public parking also eased any concerns for those traveling by car. It offers incredible value for money.
In summary, Xining Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel excelled in every aspect, including service, facilities, and dining. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining and highly recommend it to everyone!
