My stay at Yangzhou Yingbin Hotel perfectly blended these two experiences, offering an unexpected feast for both my mind and body. Before checking in, I knew the hotel was located by Slender West Lake, but it wasn't until I truly stepped inside that I understood what 'a new scene with every step' really meant. The hotel itself is an exquisite Chinese-style garden, with pavilions, terraces, rockeries, and ponds artfully arranged. Strolling through the garden in the early morning or evening, sunlight streamed through the carved wooden windows, casting dappled shadows that reflected in the tranquil ponds, while white walls, dark tiles, and lush greenery complemented each other beautifully. Everywhere I looked in the garden was a vivid ink painting of Jiangnan. This immersive garden experience is something that simply visiting a regular attraction can't compare to. If the garden satisfied my eyes, then the hotel's restaurant thoroughly conquered my stomach. The highlight of this culinary journey was here: the morning tea at Quyuan Teahouse lived up to its reputation. In the elegant setting of the tea restaurant, I savored classic hot dried shredded tofu, crab roe soup dumplings, and five-filling buns. The dim sum was meticulously prepared and authentic in taste, making breakfast feel like a special ritual. For lunch and dinner, I tried several famous Huaiyang dishes. The boiled dried shredded tofu was fresh and tender, and the Lion's Head meatball, with its perfect balance of lean and fatty meat, melted in my mouth. Each dish showcased the essence of Huaiyang cuisine's philosophy of 'using local ingredients and meticulous craftsmanship,' and the staff's descriptions of the dishes were professional and appropriate. From the thoughtful service I received during check-in to the warm and attentive shuttle driver, every detail during my stay reflected the hotel's dedication. It's more than just a place to stay; it's a microcosm of Yangzhou culture. For travelers seeking to 'experience local character and savor culture,' this is undoubtedly an excellent choice."

"I highly recommend this hotel for several reasons: 1. I'm a light sleeper when traveling for business and need a very quiet environment. The manager switched me to a quiet room, and I slept wonderfully. 2. All the staff members, from the front desk to the manager and even the security guard at the entrance, were incredibly friendly, greeting guests warmly and always ready to help. It's the first time I've ever felt so completely at home in a hotel. 3. The breakfast was delicious, and they even offer free late-night snacks. 4. The bathrooms are well-equipped with disposable toilet seat covers, and the 'Ermupu' facial towels are a nice touch. Strongly recommended! It's much better than the Hilton I stayed at last time. "This is a great Republic of China-era hotel, tucked away in a quiet spot yet still central. The courtyard is very unique, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's about 800 meters from popular attractions like Geyuan Garden, Heyuan Garden, Dongguan Street, Pishi Street, Dongguan Ancient Ferry, and Xing Street – all within easy reach. There are also plenty of dining options; the famous Erchun Fried Rice is right next door, and old brands like Fuchun Teahouse, Maopailou, and Gonghechun are all nearby. It's incredibly convenient for an after-dinner stroll. The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Located at the entrance of a small alley, it's wonderfully peaceful and beautiful. If time permits, brewing a pot of tea and sitting in the courtyard to soak in the 'slow Yangzhou' vibe would be truly delightful!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, right near Slender West Lake and Daming Temple, and Yangzhou Banquet is right next door, which is very convenient. We stayed in a villa, and our room was in the middle of the complex. There's a shuttle service available, and the staff (referred to as 'Radish sisters') would help us call for one. If you're driving, you can even park your car right next to the villa. The villa also has a private hot spring bath, offering great privacy. We had a wonderful time during this trip to Yangzhou!"

"The hotel has a very good standard of hygiene, friendly & efficient front desk, helpful staff who took initiatives to help with guests'luggage. The bed is very comfortable, the towel & bedsheets super quality. The only issue is whether the hotel should consider implementing better security such as the designated floor of the guest room via the room card. The room corridor may need a little brighter. The hair dryer in my room is Dyson as some review mentioned Dyson hair dryer provided."

"Traveling to Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, I chose to stay at the Holiday Inn Express Slender West Lake in Yangzhou's old town. It's a chain brand hotel with a great location, very close to the South Gate of Slender West Lake. It's also within a 1km walking distance of Geyuan Garden and Dongguan Street. For destinations like Heyuan Garden, a taxi ride is only within 3km, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The front desk staff, Xiao Dan and Xiao Zhang, were warm, welcoming, and provided excellent service, earning high praise. The hotel rooms were clean and hygienic, and the heating worked powerfully. Considering the price, the hotel breakfast was good with a wide variety of options and flavors suitable for most tastes, offering excellent value for money."

"Excellent hotel with great location. Garden is very nice overlooking slender west lake, we made use of package photo shoot that made the trip memorable. Mr Guan, the hotel manager and his colleagues were also very helpful, he helped us recover my daughter’s phone left at the taxi ; overall very good and friendly service. 2 night package was a good choice for my family; gave us sufficient time to enjoy the hotel facilities and its service."

"The room was well-equipped, with complimentary gifts. Parking was convenient, with the manager proactively arranging a space and carrying your bags. The front desk was also very helpful, and the laundry facilities were very convenient. The hotel's overall management system was sound, and it was close to a morning tea shop. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Yangzhou."

"I stayed in a private house with my family, and it was wonderful to have three rooms and a yard. I was particularly impressed by the spaciousness of the rooms and how well they were kept clean. One drawback was that the parking lot was a bit far away, but if you call in advance, a staff member will come and help with valet parking and carry your luggage in a carry-on bag, which was convenient. The location is also right next to Gaewon and a famous street, so I'll definitely book here again next time I visit Yangzhou."

"The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Slender West Lake, with beautiful ginkgo and maple trees lining the path, offering endless scenic views. Just a few shops down from the hotel is Jiahe Soy Milk, which is convenient for both lunch and dinner. There's a bus stop called Siwang Pavilion right in front of the hotel. It's very convenient as you can take a bus from Yangzhou East Station and get off here, then walk just a few minutes to reach the hotel. The hotel is also not far from attractions like Dongguan Street, Caiyi Street, and Shi Kefa Memorial Hall, all within walking distance. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided a lot of assistance, thank you. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, with many options, and very delicious. We stayed at this hotel for several nights and enjoyed different food every day. The hotel's restaurant, self-service laundry room, gym, and children's play area are all located on the 11th floor. Everything here was wonderful and added so much to our vacation. We truly loved everything about this place. Thank you."
