GGuest UserI like it very much, and I rarely write reviews, so I decided to write a review to provide a channel for everyone to understand. I saw on Ctrip before that the prices of Yangzhou Wuyi Hotel are flying high. Even far away places cost about 1,000. This price may seem expensive at first, but it is still okay after comparing all aspects. I used to stay in chain hotels and didn’t believe in folk inns, but after seeing it online, I couldn’t forget it. I thought it was a super interesting inn, so I decided to book it. Location: Pi Shi Street, 200 meters from Guangling Youyan, 200 meters from Pi Shi Street, about 1 kilometer from Dongguan Street, and about 300 meters from Heyuan. Overall, the attractions are all around, so you can come back to rest after a while and go out again. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to Wenchang Pavilion. Looking down from the hotel, there are classical houses, which are very beautiful. Environment: The room is quite big, with a simple wooden table and bed, Dyson air purifier, Dyson hair dryer, tea, snacks, and a small music box. There are many customized and unique little things. I am the type who eats, drinks, and lies down when I arrive at a place. I feel comfortable lying here for two days. Others: There are not many rooms in the hotel, so it is also very quiet, and breakfast is provided. There is a large hall where you can drink coffee, tea, play the piano, and watch projections. The store also made a guide to the surrounding delicious places. When you leave, you can also prepare small specialties and a custom canvas bag. There is also a loft with sofas, flowers, and telescopes. You can enjoy the scenery in the loft and feel the style of the old city of Yangzhou. Although the surrounding navigation is all red, you can feel the slow life of Yangzhou here. ps: It is next to the fire station, which makes you feel safe, hahaha.

GGuest UserAn excellent stay experience. Facilities: The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable with two large pillows, perfect for watching TV. Environment: The environment was clean and hygienic, and the view from the window was great; you could see the Grand Canal directly. Service: The hotel staff were all very enthusiastic and provided exceptionally thoughtful service. My child wasn't feeling well in the middle of the night, and we troubled customer service to help change the bedding, which we truly appreciate. The breakfast had a rich variety and tasted great. Thumbs up for the Yangchun noodles!👍🏻

DDayna LeeHotel is on Pishi Street, iconic cobbled stones street that is for shopping and photo taking. Hotel staff called the day before checking in, and pulled us into a wechat group that tells us the landmark to take car to, what to do if we drive, and some recommendations for food if we need. They also ask if we have a ETA so that they know and are ready for us. When we reached, their staff brought me to my room, helped me carry my box luggage up to the 2nd floor of the side alley. He helped me set up the aircon (it was originally set to heater mode) and also set up wifi. There is water provided in the fridge at lobby. Apparently the lobby will be locked after 10.30pm and have to access from small side glass door by keycard. Cute and furry cats in the lobby. They provided fruits on the 1st day of stay. Place is convenient and very clean. They provided facial products and even eye masks. Very well put together place and totally justify the price you pay. We just have to wechat them and they will immediately respond. Upon check out, the girl at the counter helped me bring down my heavy luggage again. I had some issues with the lock of the door the 2nd day and they immediately rectified it, and also switched me to a next door room. Thank you to the young chap and young girl at lobby for all the helpful help. Thank you for the lovely stay. Will recommend u to friends if they ask for recs.

From check-in to check-out, every single staff member – security, front desk, F&B, housekeeping, and engineering – was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Everyone greeted me with a smile and a proactive hello. It's clear that everyone enjoys their work, which speaks volumes about the effective management and how well the owner treats their employees, fostering such a warm team! The butler-style service was outstanding. Messages were replied to instantly, and requests were met immediately. Whether it was a small matter or something unexpected, everything was handled perfectly, with more care than even family members would provide. The room details were impeccable, clean, comfortable, and with high-quality amenities, ensuring a truly peaceful stay. The breakfast selection was rich and delicious, leaving me fully satisfied. The value for money was unbelievably high; the experience far surpassed many five-star hotels! The location is great, the service is excellent, the environment is wonderful, and the food is fantastic. There were no complaints at all, only pleasant surprises. Staying here in Yangzhou was stress-free, comfortable, and reassuring. I've already recommended it to all my friends and family planning to visit Yangzhou – you can't go wrong with this choice!

GGuest UserFantastic! This is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed in during my recent travels. It truly enhanced my Yangzhou trip. The hotel's common areas are very distinctive, and our room had a small courtyard outside. It was incredibly comfortable to sit there, soak up the sun, chat, and have a drink. The service was also excellent. They upgraded our room and even gave us local yogurt from Yangzhou University upon arrival. When we checked out, they gave us an aromatherapy sachet as a souvenir. Special thanks to the front desk lady who helped me bring my takeout to the room late at night. She was so sweet and very nice. The breakfast was delicious too, with a wide variety of options. It was a great way to experience Yangzhou's morning tea culture. I was initially worried about soundproofing, but it turned out to be fine. My husband and I both slept very well. The only regret is that we didn't have time to enjoy the complimentary afternoon tea. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Yangzhou!

TTim Captures MomentsWe stayed here for one night at the start of our Yangzhou trip to enjoy the hot springs, and overall it was a mixed but pleasant experience. The room was large and spacious, which we appreciated, but it didn’t feel especially comfortable or cosy compared to other hotels we stayed at later in the trip. The layout felt more functional than relaxing. One important thing to note is the private hot spring attached to the room. While it sounds great in theory, in our case it was located close to a road and not very private, with limited screening. The shower area was also visible from outside, which made it feel a bit awkward to use and reduced the sense of privacy we were expecting. That said, the service was excellent. Staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely attentive, which made a positive difference to the stay. The location is very nice, especially if you enjoy walking. The hotel is close to Slender West Lake, with its beautiful old bridges, pathways, and water crossings — very pleasant for a slow walk. We also enjoyed having tea by the lake, although it was a long walk from the hotel. Breakfast offered a good variety, but most items didn’t feel very fresh. The coffee, unfortunately, was among the worst we’ve had — definitely not one for coffee lovers (said with a smile 😄). Overall, this is a good option if your priority is hot springs, walking access to the park, and attentive service, but it may not suit travellers who value privacy, comfort, or a more refined in-room hot spring experience.

GGuest UserThe place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.

When booking a room, I thought about getting closer to the starting point and finding this hotel. The unexpected stay experience made us feel what it is to be at home! The staff's service is warm and thoughtful, and the fruit and competition refueling package are specially presented! The hotel is fully equipped and the rooms are elegantly decorated. Because the marathon starts early, the hotel also serves breakfast in advance, and the breakfast category is quite rich! The hotel even provided a shuttle bus to send us to the starting point! After running back, I ate directly at the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel. Huaiyang specialties were very delicious! Thank you very much for the thoughtful service of the hotel staff to let me go smoothly in Yangma PB! Next time I come to Yangzhou, I will choose Mingfa Hotel!
