"The hotel kindly upgraded me to Building 11 at Hongqiao Fang. This time, they also included a couple's package for Slender West Lake Hot Spring Resort, which came with a 20 yuan voucher I used for ice cream and grilled sausage. The hotel also offered a free freshly squeezed watermelon juice if you posted a review on Xiaohongshu.
The scenery within the State Guesthouse is picturesque, and the area around Qu Garden Teahouse is like a small corner of Slender West Lake itself – absolutely beautiful.
The hotel also has a hidden gem: you can book a 'Bathing Time' service for the evening through their WeChat official account. There are four options: a rose bath, a skin-brightening sweet orange bath, a relaxing lavender bath, and a parent-child option. You need to book in advance, but if it's fully booked, a quick word with the front desk usually sorts it out. This was for a weekday stay; I'm not sure about weekends.
Here are some of the complimentary services I've discovered and unlocked while staying at the hotel:
1. **Swan Lake**: You can ask the front desk for free swan and fish food (unlimited supply) to feed the swans, ducks, and koi.
2. **Shuttle Service**: Free shuttle to the swimming pool, Qu Garden, or any other building. There's also a free mini-train tour of the gardens with commentary.
3. **Spring Water Swimming Pool**: Absolutely no chlorine smell! The 50-meter lap pool has floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning garden views. It would be a huge miss not to go for a swim if you're staying here.

GGuest UserI took my family and children to drive from Yangzhou City. The overall stay experience far exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this one for leisure and vacation in Yangzhou!
The resort is surrounded by rice fields and rivers and lakes, away from the noise of the downtown, the air is fresh in the morning, the irritability brought by work, and I relax at once. In the evening, I also took the children to fish in the fishing area and ride a bicycle to experience the rural scenery.
The butler service is superb. Miss sister came up to help carry the luggage as soon as she arrived at the door. The details were done well. If you lack daily necessities, please contact the front desk at any time to send it to you and give a small gift. It is warm and real. When I wanted to drink cold drinks, I forgot to buy an ice cup and asked if there was any at the front desk. As a result, the housekeeper gave me ice cubes. It was so intimate.

The bed in the king-size room is big enough, and it is not crowded at all for two adults and one child; 3. The service is very good. The front desk manager Liu Xiaotong called us in advance to understand the check-in requirements and added WeChat to inform us of the check-in requirements; there was someone to guide us at the door, and the staff member Yan Zhiheng took the initiative to help with the luggage and delivered it to the room. At the same time, he patiently wrote down the directions of the attractions for us to facilitate our play, which was very considerate; 4. The price-performance ratio is quite high, the quality of the drinks provided in the refrigerator is acceptable, and the executive king-size room is given afternoon tea. The facilities that a five-star hotel should have are all available. All in all, I am quite satisfied with it as a whole.

GGuest UserThe place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.

GGuest UserOur family had a wonderful trip to Yangzhou in March, and the Crowne Plaza Yangzhou was perfectly located in the bustling Guangling District, making it super convenient to get around. The hotel management seemed professional, and our stay was pleasant. Parking was easy, and although some of the facilities showed their age, it was clear that cleanliness and service were top-notch. The swimming pool, sauna, and gym were all great. The only minor drawback was that the complimentary tickets for the Zhuyu Zoo were limited to two per room, regardless of the number of guests. This meant some of our family couldn't go for free, which felt inefficient and probably hurt the hotel's intended marketing impact.

GGuest UserThe room facilities are complete and well-maintained. The location is convenient with plenty of shopping malls and amenities nearby. The staff are friendly and very professional. The dining options are primarily Chinese now (it's a bit of a shame that the Western options, which used to be available, seem to have been discontinued, possibly due to the current downturn in the F&B industry).

AAnonymous UserHonestly, the service staff were all excellent and went out of their way to help with anything I needed. However, the hotel facilities were rather basic.
I was kindly given a large room, but the details didn't hold up to scrutiny. The carpet was very dirty; I was puzzled when I entered, but was told it was the carpet's natural color. :) The extra seating area was basically useless, the sofa cushions were very uncomfortable, and the bedding wasn't very good quality either—all just passable. I'm not particularly picky, and I mainly went there for the hot springs, which were quite nice and comfortable. The air conditioner in the room was extremely noisy; even with earplugs, it was still a bit noisy, and the room was still very hot even at 19 degrees Celsius.
We didn't eat breakfast, neither the person nor the dog, because we didn't like it. The à la carte menu was only one page long, with very few dishes, and the restaurant was very deserted. It was difficult to find good takeout options nearby, not even a cup of coffee. The hotel's coffee was also bad.
Overall, it felt more like a guesthouse than a standard hotel. However, the staff were indeed very responsive.
Yangzhou is a truly wonderful city, and the people of Yangzhou are also very kind and gentle. Next time I visit, I will definitely stay in the city center.

WWawabujianleWhat a surprise, upgraded to a business room! It's convenient to take the kids to the Grand Canal Museum. The hotel is very new, modernly decorated, and equipped with a swimming pool. The kids had a lot of fun~ I got up early in the morning and took a walk around the Peninsula Park in the north. It's a comfortable four-kilometer range! Although the surrounding area is close to the viaduct, you can't hear the noise inside, it's still warm and comfortable!
The breakfast category is a little less, and it's not enough for a picky kid... There is no other meat except grilled chicken sausage, which is a bit embarrassing~
The wonton is good, the meat buns and three-diced buns are also delicious. In short, it's a good choice, and there are surprises. I'm really happy!
