WWangbiandejinglingyuIt was the fireworks season in March and I missed Huaiyang food, so I took my parents to Yangzhou. When choosing accommodation on Ctrip, I accidentally came across this Aihehua B&B. I was immediately attracted by its new Chinese style and made a reservation decisively.
Location: Although the map shows it is in Guanxiang, turn right and walk two steps to Dongguan Street, which is super convenient. Moreover, it is not affected by the hustle and bustle of Dongguan Street at all, and it truly achieves tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle.
Decoration style: New Chinese style full of technology. The door of Aihehua B&B is antique. As soon as you enter, you will see a hollow partition like a screen. There is a small open-air patio, a red maple, two deck chairs, and a tea set, which is quite Zen-like. The two rooms on the left and right are equipped with large TVs that can project screens and smart facilities, providing a modern and comfortable accommodation experience. The small tea room next to the patio is also equipped with a projector. After a day of shopping, you can sit on the lounge chair, watch movies, drink tea, chat, look at the moon, and enjoy a comfortable life.
Service: The boss is warm and generous. As soon as we arrived in Yangzhou, we immediately called him and took the initiative to pick us up at a nearby station and help us with our luggage. When we arrived at the B&B, we brewed a pot of green Yangchun to catch the wind and rest. There were two cute kittens in the B&B. I heard that I was allergic to cat hair, so the boss immediately put them in a cage. It was very considerate, but it was a pity that the two little cuties were grounded😄The boss had a small small room at the door of the B&B In the coffee shop, they enthusiastically made coffee for us to taste, and also gave us small special gifts.
I highly recommend everyone to stay at Aihehua B&B in Yangzhou. You will definitely fall in love with it as much as we do.

Excellent
GGuest UserA very satisfying homestay experience, I will recommend it to friends and family. The location of the B&B is very good, next to an ancient and quiet mosque; it takes only five minutes by car to reach the vast Gaoyou Lake Observation Deck.
Environment: clean and beautiful. The guest rooms are surrounded by a large and tidy courtyard, which is full of green plants and flowers even in winter. The courtyard is neatly arranged with various leisure facilities such as pavilions, swings and elegant seats. With abundant public areas, one can truly feel that one is living in a slow time.
Service: As soon as you enter the room, you will feel the warmth. The proprietress will carefully turn on the air conditioner before each guest arrives. When checking in, the proprietress enthusiastically introduced the various areas of the B&B and nearby attractions. Because the food we brought needed to be put in the refrigerator, the landlady came to remind us not to forget to take it before we checked out.
Dining: Surprise, the hotel's coffee and book bar is cozy and literary, the coffee and snacks are affordable and of great quality👍. The homestay also includes breakfast, which includes fragrant and glutinous millet porridge, various side dishes, N kinds of steamed buns, corn and sweet potatoes. It is a light and refreshing breakfast that is very appetizing during the Chinese New Year.
Guest Rooms: The rooms are very spacious and fully meet the standards of a four-star hotel. The furniture and facilities are relatively new and very clean.
Others: This is a pet-friendly B&B, and the proprietress is very caring. A few days before I came, two little puppies were abandoned at the door of the B&B. The owner took them in and took good care of them. She also found a foster home for them. On the third day of the Chinese New Year, the adopters took them home. The little puppies are now in the care of their new owners. The picture of being held in arms is the most beautiful scene in the New Year.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent. We could walk to Slender West Lake Scenic Area, Dongguan Street, Caiyi Street, and Ge Garden. Getting to He Garden by shared electric scooter was also very quick. Yiyuan Siwangting restaurant is right next to the hotel, a 3-minute walk away, so we went there for breakfast every day, and if you go early, there's no need to queue.
Due to some reasons, we needed to change rooms, and the front desk quickly helped us resolve it. The service was excellent; they promptly handled guests' needs.
One suggestion: The rooms have wooden floors and four-legged wooden chairs. However, it seems there are no silent floor protectors on the chair legs. Many people drag their chairs, and the sound of them scraping against the floor is really, well, you can imagine... You can hear that sound constantly, and honestly, most people don't have the habit of lifting and placing things gently. I suggest the hotel either remove the chairs, put silent floor protectors on the chair legs, or replace them with legless poufs.
Additionally, I hope the hotel can improve its management of indoor smoking. We could even smell the lingering smoke from recently departed guests in the elevator... The first room we were given was supposedly non-smoking, but upon entering, there was a very strong smell of smoke, and the smell was also very heavy in the shower. The room we moved to later clearly had no smoke smell.
GGuest UserFacilities: Japanese-style tatami rooms, a unique touch.
Cleanliness: Very clean, the bedding was very comfortable, and I finally got a good night's sleep after two days of sightseeing.
Environment: Super close to Dongguan Street and Geyuan Garden! Extremely convenient!
Service: The receptionist was very friendly and proactively contacted us before check-in to tell us the hotel's location. Before leaving, she borrowed our takeout food to reheat in the microwave and recommended a local favorite, ”Jiangjia Dumplings and Noodles.” It's right at the entrance of Dongguan Street, less than a five-minute walk. The noodles and wontons were excellent, delicious and inexpensive. A taste of Yangzhou's slow-paced lifestyle.
There's also a little kitten in the hotel, haha! 😀 This was one of the factors I considered when booking! The cat isn't afraid of people at all, petting it is so enjoyable, its fur is so smooth, it provides plenty of emotional support 😀 However, it doesn't seem to like being held. As a traveler, being able to see and pet it is enough; let's not disturb the cat's life 😀
I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yangzhou.

Outstanding
AAnonymous UserHonestly, the service staff were all excellent and went out of their way to help with anything I needed. However, the hotel facilities were rather basic.
I was kindly given a large room, but the details didn't hold up to scrutiny. The carpet was very dirty; I was puzzled when I entered, but was told it was the carpet's natural color. :) The extra seating area was basically useless, the sofa cushions were very uncomfortable, and the bedding wasn't very good quality either—all just passable. I'm not particularly picky, and I mainly went there for the hot springs, which were quite nice and comfortable. The air conditioner in the room was extremely noisy; even with earplugs, it was still a bit noisy, and the room was still very hot even at 19 degrees Celsius.
We didn't eat breakfast, neither the person nor the dog, because we didn't like it. The à la carte menu was only one page long, with very few dishes, and the restaurant was very deserted. It was difficult to find good takeout options nearby, not even a cup of coffee. The hotel's coffee was also bad.
Overall, it felt more like a guesthouse than a standard hotel. However, the staff were indeed very responsive.
Yangzhou is a truly wonderful city, and the people of Yangzhou are also very kind and gentle. Next time I visit, I will definitely stay in the city center.
GGuest UserI enjoyed my stay here. If you are a backpacker looking for an authentic stay in the old town area, I would fully recommend this place. The host are so friendly and catering. The location was a beautiful discovery. I will definitely choose to stay here again.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in Jiangdu District, about 10 kilometers from Slender West Lake and the Grand Canal Museum. The hotel has a large parking lot with charging stations, pavilions, bridges, and flowing water, making it a beautiful garden hotel. However, the interior facilities are a bit old. But considering that the price will not increase during the May Day holiday, it is definitely worth recommending. Overall, it is very suitable for self-driving tourists who value the hotel environment but are not too concerned about the interior facilities.

GGuest UserCrowded. Scenic spots. But it's really comfortable to come here in this season. The temperature is OK. It's not cold at night. The hotel is not far from Dongguan Street and Slender West Lake. The average express hotels around are 800/900, which is terrible. This one is better in service. There is a refrigerator and washing machine. When I left, I was given a souvenir. I felt more balanced. The boss said that I can contact you for a member discount next time I come to make a reservation. Great stay experience

GGuest UserI have lived in many homes, this one can really be in the forefront of psychology, the overall feeling is very good, the location is excellent, the transportation is convenient, the travel is very suitable, the room is bright, the cleaning is very meticulous, the bed is clean, the floor is clean, the bathroom has no water stains, odor, The details are very good, the facilities are well maintained, the use is smooth, and the service staff is gentle and courteous. And the sound insulation effect of the room is beyond imagination. Whether it is the street outside or the next room, there is almost no noise, and you can rest very quietly at night. It’s really too friendly to people who sleep lightly, they are very attentive in all aspects, and they are very satisfied overall.
