"Let's start with the downsides: Since the family room can accommodate three adults, there should be three sets of towels, bath towels, tooth mugs, drinking glasses, and coffee cups, not just two. Even children or teenagers need their own bath towel and tooth mug. Also, the curtain button was sometimes a bit unresponsive.
Now for the positives:
1. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. You can walk to the South Gate of Slender West Lake, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
2. The breakfast was good; while not exceptionally lavish, it had everything you'd expect. The coffee came from a machine and tasted great.
3. The terraces on four of the floors are a major highlight! Breakfast is on the 11th floor (top floor), and on a nice day, you can dine on the terrace, enjoying the lush forest view and a distant glimpse of the Qiling Pagoda while being shielded from the sun – a fantastic experience. You can also enjoy the night view in the evening.
4. The hairdryer is a Dyson, and in the lobby downstairs, there's a coffee machine, tea, hot water, and bottled water available."

The Tale of Water Bamboo Residence
There is a guest house in Guangling, the water bamboo residence, and the small Qinhuai. Entering the garden, purple bamboo, gold inlaid jade bamboo swaying, chicken claw machinery, golden cinnamon, privet, begonia stand one after another. The rockery is wrong, the pond and marsh are curved, the clear spring flows, the brocade scales swim, and the "Fengwan Pavilion" is winged, quiet and resting.
The house has a double bed room, a family room, a bathtub room, the whole house is intelligent, and pets are accommodated. It is advisable to go to the family, gather in the unit, and visit the tourists, and the people who come and go seem to be in the paradise and forget to return.
"I chose this place during the off-season in Yangzhou. The courtyard has a lovely vibe, and I managed to snap some photos when the cars had moved. Even though it's in the old town, the decor is quite new and it's very clean. The transportation is super convenient; if you're good on your feet, you can pretty much walk to most attractions. Just head north from the hotel, stroll along the Xiao Qin淮 River, take some pictures, and you'll reach Caiyi Street and other spots. Public transport is excellent, connecting you to the train station, various shopping streets, Slender West Lake, and more. There are also plenty of shared e-bikes, and taxis are cheap in this small city. Within 100 meters, there are great restaurants (you'll have to queue if you go late) and dim sum places. Honestly, it's really good."

GGuest UserThe hotel is located right by the canal, which has scenic belts and parks on both sides (I noticed the hotel was on the boat tour route when I took a cruise at night). If you're not in a rush, it's lovely to take a stroll along the riverside. From the hotel, cross a bridge and walk straight ahead to He Garden, then further on to Pishi Street. Beyond Pishi Street are the Dongguan Ferry Terminal and Dongguan Street. In short, it's incredibly convenient to reach all these attractions on foot.
Though it's called a hotel, it feels more like a B&B. It's a charming three-story building, very clean and well-maintained. The owner has excellent taste and puts a lot of thought into everything. Both the owner and staff are exceptionally friendly, always greeting guests and proactively asking if anything is needed, without being overbearing. Complimentary tea, drinks, and fruit are provided, all of high quality and in ample supply. The service is truly impeccable.
The room was meticulously cleaned, and all the bathroom amenities were quite high-end. They even thoughtfully provided a complimentary set of brand-name facial wash, skincare products, and body lotion. There was also a generous supply of toilet paper.
It’s been a long time since I stayed in such a comfortable and reassuring place; it truly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yangzhou. I didn't take many photos, just one of the fragrant flowers in the lobby. I've included two photos of He Garden just to add a few more.

GGuest UserI recommended this hotel to my aunt, and it's truly fantastic, a real gem worth saving. Here's why I recommend it: 1. The late Qing Dynasty courtyard, pavilions, and towers are very Yangzhou-esque, a feast for the eyes, and incredibly comfortable to stay in. 2. The service is warm and attentive. They even gave us the popular Guangling Osmanthus Yogurt, which was delicious. The staff would come a long way to guide us, help with luggage, and always greeted us warmly, making us feel right at home. 3. The location is superb. You can take a bus anywhere. From Yangzhou Dong Station, it's right by the hotel entrance – a seamless and very convenient connection. It's just two stops on bus Z6. 4. Just a short walk away is Yechun Teahouse, where we enjoyed an authentic Yangzhou breakfast. After dinner on Dongguan Street, we walked through Caiyi Street and strolled along the Little Qinhuai River back to the hotel. It was quiet and pleasant, letting us truly experience the 'Yangzhou Slow' lifestyle! 5. The room facilities are complete, and there's even a massage chair. After a shower in the evening, lying down for a massage to relieve fatigue while watching TV was incredibly refreshing! All in all, I really love and recommend this hotel. DDazhiguohuaI stayed in Building 11, and the front desk staff was so kind and patient, even upgrading my room. The hot springs were great too. This hotel is a classic Jiangnan garden-style property, right next to Slender West Lake, with beautiful scenery at every turn. It's definitely a top choice for a relaxing vacation in Yangzhou and worth experiencing.

NniuniurlyThe hotel is perfectly located, within walking distance of He Garden and Pi Shi Street. The riverfront is right outside the door, offering stunning views at night. The room was quiet. The front desk lady was incredibly welcoming and attentive, even upgrading me to the best room category free of charge, which greatly enhanced my stay.
They also provided sunscreen spray, makeup setting spray, perfume, curling irons, and mosquito repellent... It was very convenient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Yangzhou. I'm very satisfied.

MManamaoThe hotel is conveniently located near Dongguan Street, right next to Ge Garden, making it easy to access transport and local amenities. The rooms are housed in a two-story wooden building, encircling a charming courtyard with a miniature rock garden. While the rooms themselves are clean, the bathroom is a bit on the small side. The service was incredibly thoughtful; staff even helped us with laundry. The owner was exceptionally hospitable and warm; he not only used an electric cart to assist with our luggage but also gave us a ride to a nearby place for a local morning tea. We noticed the diamond-patterned door didn't block out much light, but when we mentioned it to the owner, he immediately took care of it. He also generously shared recommendations for many authentic Yangzhou restaurants favored by locals, helping us avoid any tourist traps.

GGuest UserThe place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.

GGeishenghuobigeyeyeI chose this hotel purely for its excellent location! If you're visiting Yangzhou, I highly recommend staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Yangzhou. The location is fantastic – you can walk to Slender West Lake in about 15-20 minutes, and right across the street is MixC, which is super convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The room wasn't particularly large, and the facilities felt a bit dated and not very well-maintained. The water pressure was good, though, so showering was quite comfortable. The central air conditioning, however, was a major letdown. It was stiflingly hot, and they wouldn't turn on the AC, not even the fan! It was 19 degrees Celsius outside, but the room was a scorching 27 degrees Celsius. On the brighter side, the foot massage on B1 was pretty good, but the dim sum for breakfast on the second floor was just average.

Environment: Surrounded by the downtown area, there are food and play. It is difficult to park there, but the hotel has its own parking lot. It is really key! ! And there are kittens in the hotel. Super handsome. When you see people, you will come.
Service: We stayed at night. The front desk lady was very good. She also took me to park the car in the parking lot. Various problems will be solved as soon as possible. The emotional value is full.

GGuest UserThe hotel is really unique with a beautiful, antique design that has a lot of character. The service was excellent, and the breakfast offered a great variety. They even have a movie room! It's right next to Daming Temple, and by chance, I got to see a drone show. Overall, a very satisfying stay, highly recommend!
