The room service is very attentive: the staff are polite and professional, and any issues with the room are handled promptly. Taking the hotel's buggy allows you to admire the garden scenery throughout the property. Building 3 has an old-money vibe, while other buildings each have their own unique characteristics. Building 11, with its wooden furniture, has an elegant style and a prominent woody aroma. You can also take a stroll around the grounds and see swans and koi fish. Quyuan Teahouse is a must-visit; staying at the hotel makes it convenient, and you can ask the front desk to arrange for a buggy to take you there to queue for a number. Afternoon tea is also at Quyuan, and the 'Yangzhou Tea Ceremony,' with its 'three ways to drink one tea,' is highly recommended!"

The front desk staff are very welcoming, and they even provided fruit and a souvenir. While the breakfast area was a bit crowded, the food selection was plentiful – truly superb!"

"An absolutely perfect experience! The hotel just recently opened, so everything is brand new. They even put an air purifier in the room, so there were no unpleasant odors at all. The staff were all incredibly professional and friendly, and they even left a handwritten welcome card. Every day, they replenished the fruit and refilled the mini-bar – such thoughtful details. The hotel's facilities are impeccable, and the in-room amenities are very tasteful. Even the sink, bathtub, and toiletries are Villeroy & Boch, making it feel very luxurious and excellent value for money. If I had to nitpick, the breakfast selection wasn't super extensive, and it's a semi-buffet style where you order some items. Since the hotel isn't fully open yet, I understand why it's like that, but the quality was still excellent, especially the pastries – they were exceptional. Overall, it was a perfect stay, and I would definitely choose to stay at the Kempinski Hotel Yangzhou again if I have the chance."

Sanitation: Very clean and feels very comfortable. Environment: In the Canal Museum scenic area, the environment is great, surrounded by green plants. In order to prevent mosquitoes, the balcony is closed, leaving a small window for ventilation and installing a screen, which is very thoughtful. Service: The service is considerate, providing food for feeding fish and swans, as well as intangible cultural heritage performances, the experience is very good! It feels worthwhile, highly recommended"

The entire room was clean and odor-free, with well-maintained facilities, making for a very comfortable stay. Overall, the hotel's comprehensive quality is top-notch. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel when visiting Yangzhou again."

"One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, especially for the price. Staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Our room was spacious, and everything inside our room were disinfected and vacuumed sealed. The gym was fully equipped with a nice yoga room. The staff even opened the gym for me when I needed to use it at 5AM outside their normal operating hours. Breakfast was superb. You can taste the quality of the food, especially the fresh brewed coffee and homemade yogurt. The only downside was limited amount of laundry machines, but the pros outweighed the con for sure."

"This might be the only place in Yangzhou where the old town residences and alleyways are so well-preserved. In the late Qing Dynasty, wealthy salt merchants lived in what is now the Guangling Road area of Yangzhou's old town, using the north-south Grand Canal and the east-west Yangtze River to transport salt. The hotel was converted from a century-old vault that had business dealings with the Rishengchang Draft Bank in Pingyao Ancient City, Shanxi, for decades. Given that 'You Xiong' (which translates to 'Has Bear') is a hotel brand under Vanke, the real question is: does it or does it not have a bear?"

I wanted to extend my stay, but the place was so busy that it was fully booked for two consecutive nights, probably because it's peak tourist season. The steamed buns for breakfast were delicious. It's a 25-minute taxi ride from Yangzhou Station for 30 yuan, and there's a bus stop just 200 meters away. There's a Xichun Tea House on the third floor, where I had dinner for two consecutive nights – it was inexpensive and delicious."
