5-Star Hotels in Yangzhou

The biggest pleasant surprise of my trip to Yangzhou was this one-night stay. It's a peaceful oasis tucked away from the hustle and bustle, with every brick and tile in the courtyard showing thoughtful design. Strolling around felt like an immersive experience in a Jiangnan garden. The guest rooms steer clear of generic decor, with meticulous attention to detail, making the living experience far exceed expectations. Xiao Zhao (Zhao, the staff member) was genuinely attentive and thoughtful, proactively helping with many small things we hadn't even considered. This kind of heartfelt service is much more touching than mere pleasantries. This isn't just a place to crash for a night while sightseeing; it's somewhere you can slow down and truly enjoy your journey. I've saved it for future reference and will definitely return on my next visit to Yangzhou.

This hotel, tucked away in Yangzhou's old town, is a renovation of an old building. The entire room was incredibly quiet and relaxing. The breakfast restaurant, in particular, was amazing! It's designed like a traditional garden, offering a charming experience of Yangzhou's morning tea. The staff were also very gentle and accommodating, always ready to help. They even prepared toiletries specifically for children. And if you're tired from walking, there's a foot massage place right next door. All in all, I highly recommend it. Just look at the pictures!

We were a family of three, and I specifically chose a room with a 1.5-meter bed plus a slightly smaller one, which made for a very spacious sleep. The pillows were a bit high; it would have been even better if there were options for pillows of different heights. Overall, the hotel's recreational environment is great for kids, with animal feeding and an outdoor swimming pool. In the evening, we went to the hot springs, which had many pools and a nice ambiance, although the fish spa, which the kids loved most, cost extra. If you want to visit Slender West Lake, it's very convenient from here. We also drove a short distance to a highly recommended restaurant online called Da Mao. If you're traveling with children and just want to enjoy the hotel and its surroundings, it's a relaxing choice.

The lobby manager was very attentive and able to answer questions immediately. Even with a large crowd during check-in, they managed to arrange everything efficiently – a real thumbs up! I've never seen a hotel lobby with so many complimentary drinks before – cold lemonade, hot hibiscus tea, and unlimited freshly ground coffee. The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk to Dongguan Street and the South Gate of Slender West Lake. There are also many popular eateries nearby. Plus, it's rare to find a hotel with its own indoor parking. The family room was a bit small, but the bathroom was very spacious and even had a bathtub and a Dyson hairdryer. There was a cute little tent and a rocking horse, and the snacks and drinks in the mini-fridge were replenished daily, with unlimited bottled water. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh ingredients. Even though it was busy during the summer holidays, everything was restocked promptly. I especially loved their baozi (steamed buns) – the tofu skin buns, vegetable buns, and meat buns all tasted freshly made. The noodle chef was incredibly patient, remembering everyone's special requests and working quickly. The self-service laundry gets busy, so you might have to wait for a spot. Overall, it's a hotel with excellent value for money.

This stay was absolutely fantastic and far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and plenty of dining options and attractions nearby. As soon as I walked in, I was captivated by the exquisite design of the lobby. The overall environment was clean and tidy, making me feel very comfortable. The front desk staff, Ms. Y, was warm and attentive, handling the check-in process efficiently and quickly. She even thoughtfully provided tips for exploring the surrounding area. The room was spacious and bright, with soft and comfortable bedding, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom facilities were also new, and the toiletries were of good quality. The breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options, including both Chinese and Western choices. All in all, it offers incredible value for money, and I highly recommend it to everyone. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

Overall, I was quite satisfied. The waiters were very nice and there were many breakfast varieties. The dinner included in our original package was a buffet. Because there were not many people, they changed it to a Chinese restaurant to save costs. However, the standard was lowered to only 200 yuan, and it was not easy to order dishes by ourselves. We could only eat the dishes prepared by the chef. In addition, when checking in at the front desk, I saw that other tourists who stayed in the room had upgraded their courtyard rooms to garden views. So our package didn't seem to be that cost-effective, right?

Experience a private hot spring, rich in metasilicic acid and lithium, exclusively at this hotel. It seems to be the only one around Yangzhou Slender West Lake that offers private hot springs. The hot spring was incredibly relaxing. The first round of the minibar included Coke, Sprite, and Fanta. The hotel's location is excellent, with the East Gate of Slender West Lake within walking distance. There are also many restaurants nearby, so you can easily find options for both breakfast and dinner.

The place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.

The room was incredibly spacious with a great view. It's conveniently located next to a commercial area, making dining and even experiencing a Yangzhou-style scrub (a local bathing tradition) very easy. The hotel also offers laundry facilities, including detergent. It's very close to the Yizheng Baseball Field, just a 10-minute walk away. I have to especially commend the hotel service; they truly went above and beyond to provide whatever we needed. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

房間裏的衞生狀況一般，地毯看起來像是臟了很久了，地毯和地磚連接的部分有明顯的碎頭髮。 房間很大，但是設施一般，也沒有智能馬桶什麼的，整體看起來像是上個世紀的縣城招待所。 但是酒店外部環境很好，草坪打理得很到位，湖景也讓人賞心悦目，陽台門打開可以直接看到湖。 但是酒店位置真的很偏僻，晚上餓了周圍沒有任何便利店餐館或者外賣什麼的，如果想吃，最少要開車到高郵市裡才行，這一點不太好。
