I was pleasantly surprised with the family, friendly atmosphere. Our first dinner we where greeted by a very friendly Mr Esequiel. He took our orders, gave recommendations to some of the foods and drinks that we might like and even helped me find a great place to propose to my future wife. Mr Esequiel’s daily, professional, kindness and warmth was something that myself and my fiancé looked forward to whenever we had our wonderful meals, drinks and desserts and of course his fellow colleagues were just as helpful. We felt like we where coming to have a meal with family there. My fiancé Marley and I will most definitely come back and stay here at Four Points Puntacana again. The founders villa was the perfect place to accommodate a 50th wedding anniversary trip for our parents. The villa was beautiful, the staff was incredible and the food was some of the best we’ve ever eaten! When we decided to put together not one, but two last minute parties, they helped us plan down the smallest detail. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Carlos, Melvin, Abraham and Miguel are just some of the wonderful people who took care of us. Thank you for the perfect week!!

Our stay at TRS Cap Cana was FANTASTIC! Yes, there is algae, but that did not take away from the great time my husband and I had. The hotel is beautiful despite some updating it may need. The staff was so friendly; Alejandro was a master at the grill. The waiters, Baily, Juan, and Melvin, were phenomenal. Angel, the pool bartender, made delicious mixed drinks. The vibe is quiet which I loved. We went to Punta Cana for much-needed R&R and TRS was just the place for that. We plan to return.

The resort is absolutely beautiful, well kept and an amazing Sanctuary, just what we were looking for. We stayed in the castle and JT took great care of us all week. He was absolutely amazing, helpful, full of great info on what to do and helping set up reservations. He is a great model of excellent service, care and professionalism of going above and beyond. Even when we had an issue being given the wrong room, an ocean view room instead of the oceanfront room we paid for. JT was very helpful and supportive and aided us in getting this corrected. The next day we were in the correct room thankfully. For the rest of our stay we encountered great people like Omar at the steakhouse who on our anniversary was so attentive and added to our romantic dinner experience. This was a wonderful 20th Anniversary celebration for us, it was so much more than we imagined it would be. Check out our beautiful oceanfront view, it was exquisite!

The cafeteria is very good, there are several restaurants, the service is very professional, I thought the first room had an odor and immediately helped me change to another room. The room is big, but the quilt is too thin, not used to it. Everything else is fine. Quiet and safe.

My wife and I stayed at this all inclusive resort for 4 days in late December 2022. On the positive side, the rooms were spacious and clean and the AC worked and the hotel was not too expensive. I guess you get what you pay for. On the negative side: - If you stay at the ”Royal” Hotel--which is the adults only part, and you are driving yourself, there are NO SIGNS indicating where that entrance is relative to the ”main entrance”...so we stupidly waited to check in for 20 minutes only to be told we were in the wrong lobby (which meant getting our bags back into the car and driving to the unmarked separate entrance). We should have known at this point that things would be less easy than we expected. - Their restaurant reservation system is totally screwed up (you actually have to QR scan each restaurant —they have 5— to make your own reservation—so if one is full then you go to the next and if that one is full you go to the next—totally crazy. There is no central restaurant reservation system. - Food is all you can eat but you would not want to. The sushi at the Asian restaurant was 95% rice and 5% fish. The fish offerings are mostly fried not grilled. The vegetables are miserly. Some restaurants simply do not offer a salad or vegetables. At the beach restaurant we ordered Nachos and guacamole and received a bowl full of nachos and one spoonful of guacamole! Water is served in small individual bottles which is so bad for the environment - We humored someone and let them pitch us their “exclusive travelclub”; big mistake, big waste of time, don’t fall for it - No one tells you that there is a check out procedure that is meant to ensure that you did not steal any of their beach towels……so I guess this is the kind of hotel/chain that attracts people who like to walk away with hotel towels….draw your own conclusions. - The staff are friendly but completely un-able to make any decision on their own or that might somehow deviate from their “procedures” (allowing you to sit at a table in a “closed off” area of a restaurant, redeeming your massage vouchers, expediting your check out, etc.
