"When I first checked in and was assigned a room, I found myself having to go down stairs. My luggage was so heavy that I couldn't even imagine carrying it up and down the stairs, so I asked the reception to change rooms. Fortunately, since it was around 3-4 PM, the check-in time, they gave me a room without stairs. The hotel is old, so it's not terribly clean, but it was acceptable. However, the rooms tend to be quite dusty. Dust accumulated in the cracks and corners, and when I woke up in the morning, dust would settle on my phone or tablet screen. Two 330ml bottles of water were provided daily, which was a nice touch. The hotel's location, adjacent to Plaza Toledo, was excellent."

"1. When I called to make a request, they told me to call at 8pm. In a hotel, service should be round the clock. 2. When i requested for lotion, they said they dont give lotion. We booked to 6 different hotels in Spain. Only this hotel has no lotion. 3. There is no complementary water. If you need water, you have to go get it from the cafeteria. 4. The air conditioning system is not working. The only hotel we booked at with no air conditioning for 3 days. So we had to open the windows, hoping that no bird would fly in while we were sleeping."
