Find the Cheap Grenoble Hotels

The Residhome Appart Hotel at the “Caserne de Bonne” in Grenoble was one of my classics in the pre-COVID era, and I came back to it recently in the context of a business trip to Grenoble. I was very happy to see that the excellent service, rooms and facilities are still in order. Obviously, we should not forget the amazing location of this hotel, right in the centre of Grenoble (with thus a bunch of shops and restaurants around). I therefore recommend it to anyone interested in a short visit to Grenoble. The room was very nice and clean, and large enough so that I could also work from it and prepare some refreshments in the kitchen space. My room only had a ceiling window, but I was not there for the view so that it was totally fine with me (although this may incommode some). Very importantly, the bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. In my reservation, breakfast was included, and I must say that it is a bit better when compared with other hotels of the same category in the Rhone-Alpes region (all basics are there, including in particular a great selection of cheese). Finally, the personnel of the hotel are friendly and always helpful.

#Praise# for nearby activities, security, toiletries, nearby stores, location, cost-effective satisfaction; this hotel is the best I have felt for many tolerances and private tours in France, of course, it refers to the price/performance ratio. Especially living in room 502, a leap-floor apartment, plus a 15-square-meter terrace, you can overlook the snowy mountains and cliffs on both sides of the east and west, unobstructed. Stayed for three days to enjoy the sunrise and sunset of the snowy mountains of the Albis continuous mountains. The sun dyed the snowy mountains colorfully at different times and changed endlessly. The fifteenth moon rose from behind the snowy mountains in the evening, and the sun and moon were shining. The long-lost starry sky in the night sky is displayed in front of you. It's really beautiful, spectacular, and charming. We cooked our own dinner to the table on the terrace, accompanied by the sun and the moon, looked up at the stars, and spent an unforgettable day of sightseeing. Thank you Geller, thank you Carrera Apartment Hotel! We will meet again next time, stay at this hotel, and stay at 502.

Sono arrivata verso le 13.30 in albergo ma nessuno non se mosso fino alle 15 .La ragazza mi ha detto che la stanza non e stata prenotata anche se era già pagata da un mese, inutile discutere non capiva e non parlava bene inglese O paga o lascia il albergo Disperata o pagata la stanza altri 82 e poi sorpresa mi ha detto che devo pagare anche una cauzione di 87 e La carta Postepay che lo uso da 10 anni per pagare era rifiutata.In fra tempo la fila era diventata più di 10 persone.Dopo 40 minuti grazie a mia figlia che parlava inglese abbiamo risolto.Una volta nella stanza parlo con un operatore del trip.com hotels e cerco di risolvere con pagamento.In fra tempo busa la ragazza e si scusa mi ridà indietro i soldi .Che dire....2 ore di stress .Ho letto poi le recensioni e ho capito che ragazzi che lavorano nel albergo sono autistici infatti era scritto anche sulla loro maglia.Ho piacere che ragazzi lavorano e sono inseriti nelle activita ma bisogna anche di una persona che li aiuta per non creare ai noi turisti tutti questi dispiaceri e stress .Il monolocale molto bello luminoso , letto fantastico nella cucina ci sono piatti microonde il bollitore , frigo,zona tranquilla acanto alla stazione di treni e autostazione flixbus.Se non era per personale avevo dato un bel voto

We stayed two nights at this Ibis Styles during our Christmas trip to Grenoble, while stopover here on route to Les Deux Alpes, arriving on 24th and leaving on 26th December 2022. The hotel is perfectly located near bus/ train station and it is also not very far (within walking distance) from old town and cable car station. If you are arriving from Grenoble airport, you are 10-15 minutes walk from the bus station to this hotel. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful and offered good advice on local French restaurants. There is a Carrefour supermarket next to the hotel (convenient for you to get drinking water). The hotel has free tea and coffee and pastries in the lobby and a kids' corner. The room given to us was family room (double bed with a sofa bed), but there was no kettle in the room to make tea/ coffee. The bathroom has a powerful shower, but they did not clean the room everyday. The room was a bit too warm for us and we needed to open the window to let in fresh air. Our rate included buffet breakfast. The breakfast was plain and simple without any hot foods. However, the fresh orange juice and yogurt were nice. Definitely, breakfast offering could be improved.

I came to participate in an interview with Schneider Electric. For the convenience of coming and going, I chose this hotel very close to the train station. Because it is a budget hotel, I didn’t expect much before I came. However, the front desk service and room hygiene are particularly good, and the front desk is small. My brother also helped to print 10 pages of documents for free. Ordered breakfast for 9 euros in the morning, just to get enough food and clothing. If you like to eat better, I recommend going to a nearby coffee shop to try hot croissants and chocolate.

Good location for the city centre. Small parking but good to have. Good place to lay your head for a night or two. Nothing special. Very friendly staff. Bed was good. Shower was good. I would return if it was just for a layover but would look elsewhere if it was a special occasion

Awesome vibe, friendly staff and super location. Highly recommend for a great care free vacation. The coffee and snacks are a nice touch. Great hospitality and very accommodating staff. Food at the restaurant is high quality and fair priced.

Les bons points : la vue 180° sur la chaîne de Belledonne, une mention pour l'ensemble du personnel, et la salle de bain agréable. Les mauvais points : un lit en 180 ne laissant que 35 cm sur un seul côté pour aller se coucher (alors qu'il aurait suffi d'installer des lits en 160). Ce même lit positionné hors de la possibilité de regarder la TV (première fois pour moi en 30 années de voyages). L'architecte d'intérieur ne devait pas connaître la notion d'ergonomie : sièges très lourds (à quoi bon), décoration ringarde qui sera totalement obsolète dans quelques temps. Concernant la cuisine, quelques lignes auraient permis d'expliquer le fonctionnement de la plaque chauffante, l'emplacement du bouton d'éclairage de l'évier, un évier minuscule encastré sous le micro-onde pour lequel il fallait baisser sa tête afin de faire la vaisselle, et j'en passe. Faire du neuf à partir des restes du vieux n'est pas toujours une réussite. Rassurez-vous, j'ai survécu, on finit par s'adapter, mais à 76 ans certaines choses ne passent plus. Pour information, je ne juge ici que les caractéristiques de mon appartement.
