Find the Cheap Frodsham Hotels

There needs to be more food choice. Maintence IE change or repairs to doors or radiators should not be carried whilst guests are relaxing, working or having a late sleep in. On 2 occasions maintence staff worked for several hours ruining my stay. Very very noisey.

Stayed at this hotel for a night. The location is nice up on the hill and surrounded by greenery. Service was excellent at the front desk and the restaurant. I like the breakfast a lot with food served at the right temperature. Variety is adequate. It is however a different story inside the rooms. One room has the floor lamp not working at all and curtains hanging without the hooks. The shower head was dripping in another room. Dust was all around the outlets of the air-conditioning unit and inside the lamp shades. The shower is so poorly designed that one cannot keep the bathroom floor dry at all after taking a shower. The rotten wood at the bottom of the bathroom door should give some hints. There are not many hotel choices in Runcorn. If the cleanliness can be improved this would be a very nice hotel.

Excellent value. Room was very clean, staff were pleasant upon arrival and later in the evening when we called for a drink. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice and nicely cooked.

Unexpected Good Stay. There is a lot food choices nearby especially McDonald's for Supper. Nice free parking outside and it located on a motorway that not far from the city centrr

Don't expect a quiet nights sleep here. People arriving all night until well after 3am shouting & knocking each others doors. The receptionist was really rude to us; after we booked in we got dogs out of the car and one barked twice. We were still outside and he had been in the car for 4 hours. She came out & told us we had better keep him quiet! She was really rude about it. I would understand if he had been properly barking but 2 barks? And it was 8:30pm not exactly late. Also if you don't want to boil you need to unplug the heater. I turned it down to 14 numerous times only for it to turn back up to 20! It was too hot to sleep even if the hotel had been quiet. We travelled all that way for a dog agility competition, the dogs & the child handler desperately needed sleep. The child got a couple of hours each night the dogs were on alert all night...without barking! We were so disappointed

My grandson and I travel to this area each December for his birthday treat and to a Christmas event qnd we've stayed at different hotels over the past 4 years. However, this hotel has by far exceeded all the others in all areas! My 8 year old grandson said ”I give it 10 pikachu's out of 10” This is one hotel that we would absolutely return to, which is a massive statement as we usually like to explore different hotels! We stayed in the Africa room (room 7) which was stunning, clean, comfortable, unique and the breakfast was outstanding!

We stayed here for a night after our flight into Liverpool airport, at the end of our holiday. The hotel is located over the road from the terminal building and alongside the long term airport parking. We were tired and just wanted somewhere to have a good rest before driving home. We enjoyed sitting in the bar lounge, and shared a great quality pizza here. Our room was comfortable and had an airport view. We had a good night’s sleep and felt refreshed the next morning. The hotel also offers a free buffet breakfast. We found this to be a little chaotic, but it was still a nice bonus to have. Overall, we recommend this hotel and will return when we next use this airport.

I phoned this morning to enquire about disabled access and was greeted by Katie who was extremely friendly, kind, informative & most helpful, to say this was only Katie's third shift our questions were answered with great clarity and if unsure Katie went and found out. It was from my initial phone call & a second conversation with The Hotel Manager Angie that put all our minds at ease and we booked a family room for the 3 of us for February 2025. My partner now requires an accessible room and restaurant/bar. Our experiences within the UK is varied but up until now we have not stayed anywhere where from our point of view accessibility has been seriously thought about. Let me say now that my husband can walk a little with a walker but generally reliant on a wheelchair but does not require a hoist. The Partridge has taken accessibility (for his level of disability) seriously, our room was lovely without too much furniture and plenty of turning space, the bathroom had a raised loo, plenty of handholds & wet room shower, everything was in good condition. From the room to the restaurant there were 3 or 4 stairs with a wheelchair lift attached. Staff were willing and able to help and made the stay a pleasure. One unrelated thing to note - the bar had a menu displayed with a long list of alcohol free drinks - as the driver in our family this was much appreciated, the coffee was unusually good as well. This is definitely a place we will stay again - we booked initially to give ourselves an overnight break between the Lake District, Martin Mere and our home in Reading.
