"Positive Aspects:The breakfast was excellent. I was truly impressed! The girl at the reception spoke very good English, and it was a pleasure talking to her. Negative Aspects:It was very noisy! I could barely sleep. The carpet was dirty. The room is old, and the bathroom doesn't smell good."

"This hotel is quite economic for Harris’ level. There are pool, gym, and kids playground. The room is not that spacious but very comfortable for two persons. I requested for an iron and they delivered it to my room very quickly. They could do better for the restaurant, elevator, and the toilet — no bidet shower hence a little bit struggling for kids (i had some guest with kids coming over)."

"Maybe the only complaint about this Hotel, just the housekeeping, they really did the Cleaning so early at 09.00 am, knock your door, and after that 1PM they do Cleaning room with ”magic” but didn't worked hahahahahaa... The room still dirty and mess"

"First time staying at this hotel at Surabaya, located at the heart of the city, 5 mins walk to tunjungan plaza but hard to find local amenities, need to walk further or take cabs. Overall convenience even quite old,no gym or swimming pool. Every weekend seems parr pf the main street can be used for jogging till 10am"

Nestled in a lush garden setting right in the heart of Surabaya,excellent service, and beautiful surroundings. The spacious rooms offered stunning views of the city, providing a perfect blend of relaxation and luxury. I particularly enjoyed the rich breakfast buffet, featuring a delightful selection of both local and international dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. Moreover, the hotel's facilities had a lovely swimming pool surrounded by greenery, two tennis courts, spa and massage ,perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. What truly stood out was the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and eager to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxed, making it an ideal spot for both business and leisure travelers. It’s my second stay at Bumi Surabaya and I look forward to returning in the future. If you're looking for a blend of comfort and charm in Surabaya, this is the place to be!"

"Everything is good except for the room size. I have problem opening my luggage because of the small space. I even have to di my prayer on the bed because there’s no more space for to do that on the floor. I have to give credit to the staff. They are very accommodating and have sincere smiles. If not because of the space of the room, I would definitely atay there again."

"To get a good night's rest before climbing Mount Bromo, I booked this hotel in downtown Surabaya. The hotel was inexpensive but offered standard five-star service and facilities. Before checking out, I visited the hotel's restaurant; compared to other eateries nearby, the food was tasty and affordable. The only minor drawback was that the staff's English proficiency was limited, making communication a bit difficult."
