"Being a first time business traveller to Italy and Pisa ,it was a wonderful journey , the hotel receptionist can speak English , hence is easy for us to communicate with them . Pros : - Is a strategic location during the stay in Pisa , 15 min walk to leaning tower of Pisa . -Big applause to the receptionist Ms Tamara . She was very helpful , attentive and friendly during our stay at Grand Hotel Bonanno , she guide us to use the train from Pisa to Cinque terre, and lead us the direction to leaning tower of Pisa .The view of cinque terre was magnificent! -Other than that she helps us arrange taxi to airport and to my client office . - she was patient to answer all the request and question given by us . -The buffet breakfast was excellent , many selection of choice . Cons - there is no complimentary for mineral water during the stay . - the hotel was near to the railway station , hence you will easily hear the noise from outside however for me is fine with it . -the water heater can be improve . conclusion : If I ever come back again to Pisa, Italy , I will definitely choose this hotel again ."

"The hotel is quite grand and feels very historic, with oil paintings and pianos dotted throughout. I booked a room by the river, and the view was absolutely lovely. The front desk staff were also very thoughtful, providing a map and even highlighting various attractions for me. The only real headache was the toilet flush – the button was incredibly stiff and hard to control, making my finger sore from pressing it so hard. Despite this minor issue, the overall experience was still very good."

"I had actually stayed at a different safety property in Naples and thought this was the same one and thus booked it but to my rather surprise this was nothing like that. While the staff were really nice and quickly helped me with checking in and the rooms were not too small I felt like the bathroom was from a different dimension altogether as the shower cubicle was so small that while I was making my way out of it I hurt my back really badly And it was very painful to imagine the same happening to anyone else and that’s too on holiday also when I just opened the shower which was fixed overhead little bit of brown water seem to come out from it and I do not know what that was all about but it was rather disappointing however There was lockers in the room and quite a peaceful stay as well so I guess it’s fine for a night, but if only they had the day not so much behind the door that it is positioned in a very weird manner maybe it could have been better and also the flush was not working properly."

"The hotel is a bit dated but clean and pleasant, with some rooms partially renovated. It's ideally located near the station. The breakfast offers a good variety, and the staff are courteous and attentive."

"The room is very small, but compared to the price, I think it is very cost-effective. In foreign countries where the average nightly rate is 2,000, the price here is very reasonable, and it is very close to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, less than five minutes' walk! The facilities are a bit old, and the sockets even need to be supported by a cabinet to prevent the plugs from falling out. The hotel is also not far from the train station, less than ten minutes' walk. But all in all, this price, this location, and this view are still very cost-effective"

"Perfect accommodation for a city trip to Pisa. Beautiful, old building very centrally located. Sights, city and places to eat are all within easy walking distance. Check-in and check-out without contact with staff - no problems at all. Brief contact with staff over time, very friendly! I had a large room with a balcony and a direct view of the Arno. Everything was very clean! Small coffee and tea station in the hallway for free use. Thank you for the great stay during my trip to Pisa!"

"Placed was clean, stayed only 1 night so it was fine. Great place if you want a place just to sleep. Location was near pisa tower, just a few minutes walk only. Surrounding area was good to explore. Moreover, the host was very nice and friendly."

"The room facilities are average, there is no kettle, but another hotel near the Leaning Tower of Pisa has one. Just like the hotel in Siena, if you want hot water, you can boil a kettle immediately, and you have to go down and bring it up yourself. The service in Siena is more old-fashioned, and the front desk is very polite to bring up the white porcelain kettle and two matching porcelain cup trays. The location is close to the train station, and it only takes 15 minutes to walk to the airport. The air conditioner is broken, but fortunately it was warm that day and it was ignored. The room upstairs makes a lot of noise when walking at night. The room given is not very good, and it feels a bit different. Anyway, it's just a one-night stay. I didn't eat breakfast. Pisa is a good town, with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere."

"Location is good. A taxi from the station took 5-10mins. The tower is a nice walk away (15-20mins) Rooms are dated but reasonably clean. Good breakfast choices (continental) I only stayed for one night so can’t say much more. Staff were helpful."
