"The entrance to the room was stunning, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The location was conveniently a ten-minute drive from the aquarium, with a shuttle service also available. Many nearby dining options were available, and the sea views were lovely. We chose not to have breakfast due to the price 3300 yen. Free parking was plentiful. However, we did find that the air conditioning could be improved, as a setting of 20 degrees was insufficiently cool. Additionally, the pool's operating hours (9 AM to 6 PM) seemed somewhat limited, and the gym could benefit from additional strength training equipment. However, I would definitely recommend staying here and would return."
"The worst hotel I ever stayed. Didn’t value customer. They can decide to change breakfast arrangement without informing customer in advance, and also deny that they had committed to providing buffet breakfast when buffet breakfast was stated at the website. When we did the booking, it did mentioned is buffet breakfast, and the booking fees we paid as compared to without buffet breakfast is with the difference of JPY3000 per person. However, when we checked-in, we are told the buffet breakfast has been catered by the restaurant for student group. Other hotel guests (including us) are then only provided ‘packaged box breakfast’ which is equiv. JPY500. This is a huge difference compared to the JPY3000 that we paid in addition for buffet breakfast. They denied promising on the buffet breakfast.
It is inconvenienced for food/dinner as although there is restaurant opposite the hotel, the restaurant will charge you JPY550 per person for table fee.
We end up to drive 10 minutes further for breakfast and dinner. There are plenty of cheap restaurant over there.
The following are the replied form hotel on our feedback:
Convey check-in instructions
Please note that your booking includes breakfast, but it is not guaranteed to be a buffet. Breakfast is typically served buffet-style at the restaurant Ilikai, featuring Okinawan, Japanese, and Western dishes made with island vegetables, along with desserts. However, depending on guest numbers and conditions on the day, a set menu may be provided instead. We kindly ask for your understanding that the buffet may be replaced with a Japanese- Western set menu based on reservation availability."
"It is convenient to reach the resort via express bus from Naha Bus Terminal or from the airport. Bus 117 goes directly to the resort front lobby, a 2.5 hours Bus ride as we did not drive. Once you alighted from the bus, you are greeted by the emerald-coloured sea, made me felt so relaxed and worth the bus ride. The room is big and overlooked the sea, I can sit at the balcony and enjoy the view with a cup of tea all day long. The resort is within the Ocean Expo Park, so can just walk to the Okinawa Chutaumi Aquarium and the various sites. The Emerald beach is right in front of the resort and can just walk over after breakfast to enjoy the cool sea breeze and sea water. We will definitely stay at this resort again if we come back to okinawa again."
"I have stayed at this hotel many times with my friends and we loved it.One thing we’re not happy lately is the breakfast .Before they have plenty of options but recently it’s different."
"Pros:
We were upgraded to a family room, which was incredibly spacious and very comfortable. The small table on the tatami area was perfect for a relaxing drink.
All the essential facilities were available. Apart from the bathroom feeling a bit dated, the hotel was generally good and quite clean.
There's a direct bus service from the airport to the hotel; we took the Airport Bus OAS on this trip.
The aquarium is relatively close. We couldn't find a taxi on the fireworks night and had to walk for 30 minutes, though it's typically just a 5-minute taxi ride.
Breakfast was decent, but the selection wasn't extensive, so it might get repetitive if you're staying for many days.
Cons:
The pillows had a strange smell, and even after requesting several replacements, we encountered the same issue. Luckily, we had brought our own pillowcases.
It seemed daily housekeeping wasn't provided by default. We returned to find our room hadn't been touched. Fortunately, we ran into a staff member and asked them to clear the trash and replenish our drinking water."
"It's a nice hotel with large rooms, great views, attentive service, and a good price. The Italian dinner was delicious and generous, but I highly recommend avoiding the Japanese breakfast (a collection of Japanese pickles). While there's only one pool, it's not crowded, so it's always been there. If I were to go again, I'd stay a few days longer and have the hotel shuttle me to various island attractions daily; it would be much easier. A major drawback: Transportation is difficult, and taxis may be hard to come by when leaving the island. Contact the hotel in advance to book one, otherwise you'll end up waiting an hour or two for a bus. The hotel offers a nearby shuttle service, but we didn't know about it the first time, so we walked from the station. If you need it, please call or email them in advance."
"I have no idea why this hotel is so popular. I stayed during the off-season and paid 2,000, which is double the price of the Intercontinental next door. They gave me a room right by the basement parking entrance, and cars kept coming out, making it incredibly noisy! After complaining to Trip.com, I was moved to the 10th floor. Even though it was typhoon season and the occupancy rate wasn't high, they still gave me a terrible room. If it were peak season and first-come, first-served, and I got a bad room, I might not mind so much. The front desk staff had a stern face and was cracking their knuckles right in front of us, making loud popping sounds with their fists – like they wanted to pick a fight! The small room had three beds crammed in, making it very cramped. We were two adults and a 6-year-old child, and we booked a double room. I don't know why they gave us a triple-bedded room without discussing it. The hotel doesn't even separate pedestrians from vehicles. Although the sea view from the 10th floor was decent after we moved, there were parking spaces directly below, so it's definitely not worth the price… The hotel's lawn and public areas were messy, and the pool was just mediocre. The lobby, however, was quite grand, and breakfast was acceptable! The old church wasn't particularly photogenic either. If you have a car, there's absolutely no need to stay here; there are far better options. The beach isn't as good as other 5-star hotels either! There are plenty of dining options nearby, which might be why it's popular, possibly due to direct bus access. On checkout day, I saw many tourists with luggage waiting for transport at the main entrance. If it's more expensive than other 5-star hotels, there's no reason to choose it. I stayed at three hotels, and this was the worst…"
"Love the ocean view room, however they gave me a room on the second floor and they are always taxi waiting outside and sometimes the diver smokes and it gets into the room.
There are a microwave, stove (no pots/pans, cutlery and tableware), fridge and a washing machine (you can turn the shower area into a dryer by using the setting) available in the room. Detergent can be purchased for 100yen from the front desk. I used the paid parking (1000 yen) as it was raining - the parking area next to it is for hospital visitors, park at your own risk.
Location wise, you will need a car to get around. Or else, metered taxi are easily available as it is right next to a hospital. You will need to drive out most of the time, as the restaurants nearby are very limited and closes early. There is no access to beach as it is a sea wall.
Take note of the check in time as it opens till 8pm only."
"Nice accommodation but the cost is slightly on the high side. Check in /out is easy and fast. Not able to arrange for breakfast when we reach there is kind of disappointing. Some aircon in the rooms are not working very well and it affected our sleep."
"The room was clean and large
The bathroom and toilet are separated from wet and dry, and the shower has a high-end hotel look
But at night I heard the sound of water dripping, following the sound found my room air conditioner dripping water, the air conditioner bottom floor has a large pool of water
After notifying the staff he also processed immediately, and found me a room"

Great
GGuest UserNeither trip.com nor the hotel informed us beforehand that there would not be cleaning included for the duration of our stay. We had to put our used towels, bathrobes and rubbish bins outside the room for them to change. It would have cost JPY 5000 for each cleaning. Should this be labelled an airbnb instead?
Also, trip.com did not indicate that additional charges had to be paid again for a child until after booking (the selected room for 3 was already more expensive than the room for 2).
Requests to trip.com customer service staff were abysmal and could not address the enquiry.
Service was decent and most were friendly to the child. Breakfast was also decent although it was 2x japanese and 1x western (no choice).
The view from the restaurant was amazing! Blue seas and floor to ceiling glass windows.
Onsen and sauna were also serviceable.
Good proximity to onna beach and aquarium compared to naha.
Good overall except for the hidden charges (and no cleaning!) which spoilt the overall experience. Not sure if we would stay again, and we definitely won't be using trip.com in future.
CChilunThe hotel is located on Kouri Island, with a very nice view of Kouri Bridge.
The room is large and equipped with cooking utensils. It can accommodate many people.
The cleaning time was very random and did not follow the schedule, and the hotel staff came into the room to clean without prior notice. I was a bit dissatisfied.
Since I had notified the hotel through Trip.com before departure that I would arrive very late, but when I arrived, I found that the front desk was closed, and there was no prior notice from Trip.com or the hotel about the key collection arrangements, which made my group very panic. Fortunately, I found Trip.com customer service to find the password. Thank you to the customer service and compensation for helping me handle it that day.

Very Good
KKing Koon KohThe location is 5/5 because it is very close to the Churami Aquarium. Else, finding nice and cozy food to eat can be a challenge. View wise, we are close to the sea, but there was construction, so you can imagine ...
No complaints on cleanliness.
Service wise, there is not a single service staff, so we are lucky we do not need help. Thus 3/5. I do not understand the instruction to enter the lobby after 10 pm, or it was not updated.
Facilities-wise, not much as a service apartment. The shower ”column” in the master bedroom is really small ..., all the basins are at the wrong height, just too low. I need to bend more than 90 degrees to reach the tap and I am not tall. The redeeming point is that Family Mart is just beside the lobby. Parking is very ample and convenient.
SSharon Tang (Sharon 852)This hotel is motel style kind of resort with private beach, expensive but cheaper than the other similar hotels in the Onna area which are also by the beach. I had a ground floor room so didn't have a view (garden view) but if you stay in the upper levels you should get a view of the ocean and beach. The beach is just a few minute walk behind the hotel, and is a small secluded beach with a little reef and is quite lovely. The rooms are spacious and clean, the decor is dated though. Each room has a patio. You can buy snorkelling gear from the small lobby, and there is a small hotel restaurant which serves decent buffet breakfast. I chose this hotel because of the price and also it is close to Cape Maeda where the blue cave is, but you can also do a little snorkelling at the private beach too. It is more convenient to drive there, but they charge 100 yen a day for parking.
GGuest UserBooked this hotel accidentally due to booking the wrong hotel. A few minutes' drive away there is a hotel with the same name, also called Miyuki Beach Hotel. I have stayed there before and was very satisfied with it. But this time the hotel facilities and decoration are a bit old. I felt bad as soon as I entered the door. The room space was not spacious, but it just felt wrong. The appearance of the room also had a sense of disparity. The bathroom is small and the facilities in the room are old, but the hotel staff are friendly. I booked for four nights but checked out on the first night. There is no way, there is a big gap.
GGuest UserThe white cottages are lined up in a place that is easily visible from the road, so you can arrive without getting lost. Check-in was thorough, so it took a long time, and I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes, but I was warmed by the human touch.
The building I stayed in was in the style of an American house from the Showa era. There was a dining table, couch, and chairs, and the ceilings were high and comfortable. The electrical appliances seemed to be a mix of nostalgic and newer items. There were not many places to plug in electrical outlets. Is this because of the place's aging? The bathroom window wouldn't open, and the lock seemed broken, so as a sensitive city dweller, I was worried about security (it was fine, of course). It was a comfortable stay.
SsandyhowWe booked a 2-night stay at WoodPecker Nakijin to experience camper van living. Due to some delays at the airport, we arrived late and had to contact the hotel since they don’t offer 24-hour check-in. We didn’t get a reply, so our rental car staff kindly helped us call the hotel — although they didn’t speak English, they were helpful and guided us through self check-in via our rental car staff.
The environment was well maintained, but the facilities inside the camper van were quite dated. We had to skip showering the first night as there was no hot water, though the issue was promptly fixed the next morning. The steps inside the camper van were quite high, and I tripped a few times during our stay.
It rained heavily on our second night, and unfortunately, the noise from the rain hitting the roof made it difficult to sleep.
On the plus side, the location was easy to find — there’s a large signboard right by the road, so you can’t miss it. The site offers free parking (you can park right next to your camper van), as well as a spa, sauna, swimming pool, and BBQ pit. There’s also a beautiful, private beach right behind the hotel with a great view.
The hotel is close to Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, Nakijin Castle Ruins, and Bise Village. However, there isn’t a convenience store within walking distance — you’ll need to drive about 5 minutes to reach one.
TTezpezMy boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Ocean Resort PMC. The location is convenient if you have diving plans, with the diving drop-off point right next to the hotel. There's also a surf and diving shop and school below where you can ask about lessons and equipment. Although we had already booked our diving elsewhere, it was just an 8-minute drive away, and they even drove us back to the hotel, which was a bit amusing.
Overall, the stay was fair, but there are a few things to note. After 11 AM, the elevator is not available, and the parking lot is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. However, there's a 24/7 convenience store just across the street, which is very handy. The ground floor has a washing machine that all guests can use. After 11 PM, you have to use the stairs, which can be a bit scary as there's no light. The hotel has a kitchen, but it lacks basic utensils.
For the price, I felt like I could have picked somewhere better, but the location and amenities were decent enough for our needs.
GGuest UserThe room looked clean, but when I walked to the tatami place to see, it was actually full of hair and a lot of sand dust, and then carefully checked the entire room floor, I can only say that there is a lot of dust, a lot of sand and a lot of hair! I can't believe it..... Later, I wiped the floor all over, and the pillow shook the dust before I had a way to rest and would not choose to stay again.
